Ruth showed my husband and I all the attachments and how the devices worked. She was extremely kind even though she knew we were just looking. She helped up set up a registry with their store for the people in my life that prefer to shop in person, she even took my Babylist information and password and hooked up my mod mama registry with my online one, creating one less thing for me to have to do. Also side note, they had some of the cutest stuffed animals I've ever seen!

I wish I got her name because she was incredibly helpful. She gave us a gift bag with some details about registry info, information on all the car seats & strollers, and just was able to manage the store all by herself dealing with multiple customers as they JUST opening one busy Saturday morning. Idr her name but she was amazing. Flash forward to just recently when we went in, now in our third trimester and wasn't even GREETED at the door by anyone. There were two employees working, one younger and one older woman with dark short brown/black hair. When we asked about the Nuna car seats, the older woman with the short black hair didn't even want to give us the time of day. We were looking for more information about it and she just told us that the Nuna car seat they have on display is the only Nuna car seat they can sell or something like that. She didn't come over and offer us a product demo or nothing. And the store was EMPTY. It was just me and my wife there. Instead, her and the younger employee was too busy trying to order Starbucks from next door. We did end up spending some time in the store checking out clothes & whatnot and did walk away with a $60 sleeper, but neither employees tried to help us in anyway shape or form and we were there for a good half hour. Granted, it was towards the end of the day, but this was a complete 180 from our previous experience here. I will say this, Mod Mama still tends to be the best spot in RI to grab baby gear & clothes but whoever doing the hiring needs to take a hard look at their employees because some of them can care less about the customers! Please take appropriate action! Being new parents is scary and having someone showcase & demo all the nice brands out there is sooooo nice to have locally. Other recent reviews mention the same sorta customer service, I just hope it doesn't stay like that.

I ordered Romania furniture in august when I was 12 weeks pregnant. I had checked out cardis, Jordan, and other places like target and found their cribs to be very flimsy and judging by the floor models they scratched easily and noticeably. This is what sent me to rooms to grow, I wanted good solid wood furniture. I wish there had been more in the show room but I understand that showrooms are products that the business have to purchase that just sits there. I feel like they had an adequate number of Romania furniture options that I generally knew what I was ordering even though I didn't ever see the exact crib I wanted in person. They also had samples of every single color stain and I appreciated that. I interacted with both the female and male owner. Both were very pleasant, the only issue I had was that the numbers for the crib were written down incorrectly on the order form, I personally double check so I caught the errors but had you not been diligent like me, that may have ended up resulting in the wrong product being ordered. Price, I think was fair for good quality furniture. Their price reflected the other retailers online. You pay when you order. And then you wait. We were told 16 weeks for delivery and I honestly was shocked it's so long, but they did explain to me that they are made to order in Europe and then they wait to have a full shipping contained to ship over, then it is driven to the store and driven to your house. I was ok waiting because the current nursery in my house was an office and I still needed to use it. I checked in on delivery a few times which is where I encountered some miscommunication. I was told by the male my order would actually be coming in early in November, November came with no update so we called and it seems that the gentleman didn't have all the information and that one of my pieces was back ordered and they actually wouldn't ship anything until the whole order was together. This caused me anxiety that it would be late, because it was hard for rooms to grow to contact the actual company to get the shipping manifest so I wasn't sure if my products were in the container. Overall it took 18 weeks, but I do believe the extra weeks to be due to COVID and no fault of rooms to grow at all. Everything was the correct furniture and in the correct color. Previous reviews really had me worried it would show up and be white, or just be the wrong crib all together but delivery went fine. All the correct items and the delivery men put it together fast and even put scratch guards on the bottoms of everything. Overall I think everyone working at the store had fine customer service and was friendly and welcoming. They were happy to have you as a customer. Would I do it again? No, the wAit and anxiety that I wouldn't have my furniture in time was too much for me to handle pregnant. From 12 weeks to 31 weeks of pregnancy I was nervous that the correct things wouldn't come, and honestly maybe if people hadn't left reviews like that, I wouldn't have had that anxiety but it seems it happened more than once. BUT if you are able to handle the 16 week wait, then I do recommend coming here. The furniture is solid, I'm happy with it, I'm happy with the price and happy with delivery.

I also went to Fully Rooted to purchase two bottles of freshly pressed juices-Watermelon Slice and Golden Greens. There were also local food trucks, farm booths, and local makers. The Garden City Center Farmers Market is a market for everyone. Either if you just want to stop for coffee, get produce for the week, flowers, dog treats, see alpacas, and so much more.

this store is not just a STORE... its a place for parents to go NO MATTER HOW THEY FEEL ABOUT ISSUES. my son has been taking classes (spanning from art, to gym, to music) for almost (9 months now) i have purchased products from this store for myself and my family and friends, and i have had daily conversations with the employees and owner of the store. I could not rave about this store enough. I have NEVER felt so at home in a store before. Our family LOVES Bellani! We've been customers for two years now, since the birth of our daughter and the store has been such an incredible resource to us! The classes (Dance, gym and art) have helped my daughter become more independent. She loves going to dance class, especially, and talks about her teacher, and all the things she has learned in class. When we walk in the store she gets excited and runs right to the classroom! Bellani is more than a store it's a community, an extended family. My go-to store for all things baby! So much so that on my way to the hospital to have my second baby, I sat in the parking lot with my husband while having contractions waiting for the store to open so we could buy a product that I NEEDED before delivering... I know, it was a crazy pregnant "I'm going to have a baby moment" but we had time and psychologically it would have stressed me out too much not having it. I drive 45 minutes a week to this store all because it is so much more than a store. It was my life line as a struggled with post partum depression with my first child and is my life line today for all of my toddler's needs. I never feel judged by anyone who works there as the owner cultivates a staff that becomes more of a family to repeat customers. The toddler classes are something my daughter and I look forward to each week and the shop has all of the best products that are carefully selected to be on the shelves. What a wonderful Baby Store. I started going to Bellani to take their Prenatal Yoga class. I have since taken their New Moms Group and Baby Itsy Bitsy Yoga. It has been a life saver to connect with other moms and create a community that I can count on. Of course the great baby gear inside is a plus! But most of all is the staff. She told me in passing "Once you shop consignment, you'll never shop retail again" and she was correct.

I saw Luca Boutique and a product they had that I was very interested in advertised a local listing…read moresite. So I emailed the owner before I made my one hour trip to Warren, RI for a stroller. I confirmed her hours and that she still had it the day before. I did leave out that I was driving an hour, didn't think that info was needed. I arrived to a beautifully decorated store, I have to say it's really nice inside and looks very upscale. I checked some of the clothing out and prices, everything was in pretty good condition but a little over priced for my taste on used clothing. I then approached the owner about the stroller I had emailed her about and she was like "Oh the Quinny, yeah, I was just about to give that back to the owner. It won't fold and I can't sell it like that". So you couldn't just shoot me an email and save me the trip; I mean seriously, that's the right thing to do. I guess that common courtesy never occurred to her. The stroller wouldn't fold, we didn't know if it was broken or she just didn't know how to fold it. The stroller itself was in really raggedy condition anyway. She did mention on more than one occasion that it had been there since January when she opened, wasn't selling, and that the owner just told her to sell it for whatever you can get for it. We offered her $75 less than what she was asking for a four year old beat up, stained up, stroller with a chipped up and banged up frame that wouldn't fold. She refused and said that she needed to talk to the owner fist. Either way, pending what the owner said, she said she would meet me half way into my trip to deliver it. This was before she found out I was an hour away. She did email me a day later and tell me the owner came in and folded it up no problem so it was all good. She never did offer to drive it thirty minutes one way like she originally said. I've since found one in much better condition for just about the same price. Luca boutique is over priced, even their uppababy stroller was over what the going used rate is. Maybe because the store looks fancy the owner believes it's ok to overprice used items. The owner doesn't know what she is doing and is clearly new in this business. I sadly don't recommend Luca boutique.

Biggest issue in both locations is customer service. I have mostly had interactions with a blonde woman. I have had experiences where my kids knock something over because yah know...they are kids and this person seems so stiff and uncomfortable with kids. Generally the vibe isn't friendly. This is a children's store. No getting to know the customer, smiling, thanking them, or a "have a nice day". Selection of clothing has little price variety. It's all super high end. I understand margins for selling kids clothing must be tough but items are averaging $30-$40 I guess if you are buying a gift ... but as a parent it would be nice if they had some variety. Toy selection at both locations is great! They have variety and some really cool stuff. If I have a birthday party I like to take my kids to get something there. They offer a wide variety of items, but Christmas time is especially magical with handmade ornaments and the best wrapping paper around. Prices are reasonable, too. Lovely local gift shop to pop into when you need something. I love that you can get a card,…read moreflowers, gifts, etc all in one spot. You can upgrade one of their more standard bouquets for $10, create your own arrangement, or buy one of their more handcrafted arrangements. The florist was super friendly and very happy to help me make sure I got exactly what I was looking for. I will be in again soon to browse their house plants, they had a ton of great smaller options.

The flowers were absolutely gorgeous and exactly what we envisioned. Meghan was incredibly easy to work with throughout the process and their price was reasonable. On the day of the wedding, they had dropped all the flowers off at the venue so they were there when we all arrived. We couldn't be happier with the colors and beauty of the flowers. I highly recommend Le's Isle Rose for your wedding flower needs.
