They had music pumping from DJ's with individuals and families checking out vendors, accessing food trucks along the perimeter, and checking out the many vendor booths along many rows in the interior. I ran into familiar and new vendors all while fighting off the heat from the sun. I got water from an ice cream vendor, a belt buckle from a clothing vendor, art, and more and must have walked 3 miles. I would have stayed longer but I didn't want to suffer a sun stroke. Next time I will wear a hat and take more rest breaks. It was a real fun activity and can't wait until next year.

The North End Bar is a great place to enjoy the action, and during a Kings game you might catch field goal. Food options are really good and reflect the local taste. It's best for track and 1-2 field events, depending on their position in the space. It's still a good idea to bring a camp chair to have the flexibility to move around the stadium. There are places to rest but it's not always near the events or the sun is hitting you intensely. Food and drinks available for purchase. Great walking area for visitors around the track gates. The parking garage is across the street, plus a playground, gas station and McDonald's next door.

After games last year I was skeptical about getting any tickets again this year. I got one of the…read moremini plans to ease back in and this year has been a much better experience. One of the best college stadiums to watch a football game and always has been. They've corrected the admission process that had people still standing in the parking lot at kickoff last year. The connectivity is better at entry and concessions which makes everything move much faster and enables me to post this review. Concessions are still way too expensive or L&N probably would have gotten a fifth star. Even at $16.50 I am gonna have to try a Barry's Bowl today and a pic will follow. All chair back seating is awesome and the majority of fans and workers are very friendly.

I had the…read moreopportunity to visit this spot for the Neighborhood Summit, an event held by Center for Neighborhoods. Prior to this event I was unfamiliar with the location, but I was so impressed by the beauty of the building and the awesome event space! If you're looking for a venue for an event I think checking out the Kentucky Center for African American Heritage is a great idea. I do not know what their pricing is like, but it's definitely a lovely place, so I think hosting an event there would be wonderful.

Free parking and a great history lesson about Louisville that's also. This is used as an event…read morespace but you can stop in and see the exhibits about Muhammad Ali, National Civil Rights Activist and Local Activist. Learned about some new Activist and peaked my interest to do more research on them. They offer a map that gives you a blueprint of black history pivotal points in Louisville. My favorite exhibit was the story of the Black Jockeys in the Kentucky Derby. Knew the first Derby was won by a black man but never knew how many black Jockeys existed. Never knew much about their loves so this was a refreshing history lesson. I highly recommend stopping in and making a donation this is a site that should be promoted among all those who love to learn.

I'm not sure the reasoning or artist behind this piece but like many pieces int the very close almost distance it is down very Well. My theory which could be wrong is Lousiville has always been described as having three different areas or points. We have a east end, west end and south end. So I think that it may be a tribute to that. Could be wrong though. Overall very nice piece of public art.

This September festival celebrated year #10 today and it was perfect weather! Bardstown Rd was shut…read moredown from Longest to Grinstead. Vendors, community businesses, food and drinks lined the street. Most tables shut down after 6p but the music went on until 10p. The main stage was close to Grinstead, keeping it closer to Big Bar and Chill Bar. A second stage was across from McDonalds and a variety of performers rotated. My family and I had so much fun. We left with stickers, buttons, bracelets, glitter, clothing and more! Family friendly for all ages. We bumped into several friends and the folks working the booths were fantastically friendly and generous. One day only. We had no issue finding parking in the streets, with only a short walk to the festival. I'm so glad we landed at the Pride Festival today. It was a day of laughing and smiles.
