I found the play area to be cramped and dark-lit. It is a narrow portion of the warehouse with about 4 different bounce houses and a climbing play place area all Tetris'd in. They could surely benefit from some more breathing room and space for the kids and parents alike to spread out. It was hard to move around and chase after my kids, and we were only there for a birthday party (which I assume means a more limited number of people.) Amazing place for a party! We hosted my son's 8th birthday party there yesterday 10/25/24. The staff was so accommodating and attentive. There were 20 children present and it couldn't have gone smoother! The attendant servicing went above and beyond to make this an easy party for me as a mom. Lots of fun and a good deal for parties with kids. Party rooms are very convenient, kids will spend hours and burn through energy easily.

What is with the negative reviews??? Parents bringing your small children here should use your brain. It's OBVIOUS that this place is more suitable for children older than toddler age... you're so scared of them being trampled, then you should be accompanying your little one. You don't bring toddlers and not supervise them in this sort of setting. Im actually disgusted by most of the reviews that are low STARS- complaining that this place is not for small children because they get trampled- WATCH YOUR OWN KIDS. The employees here are so wonderful. We showed up around 11am... We're visiting from out of town and despite not knowing that the place closes at 11:30am, they allowed my boy to come in and play- for free. If that's not customer service, then I don't know what is. They have an excellent set up with bouncies and tunnels so my kiddo was able to get his energy out. It's also very clean which is uncommon in these places. Took 8 grandchildren over Christmas break. Staff was very friendly. Children were aged 2-8 and all enjoyed something.

UPDATE: after now being frequent flyers at not only the lake villa location but now the new volo location, I love it more and more every time we go. When the volo location opened up I loved loved loved the layout and the bouncies but my son seems to be happiest at the lake villa location. I am not sure if the lady that usually works behind the counter is an owner or just works there, but she is great. Whenever I am there she is doing her best to make sure the kids are having fun. Sometimes they pull out extra toys like balls and blocks. She tells everyone to let her know if there isn't enough and she will get more. I have never encountered "bigger" kids being mean or pushing. Parents are more than attentive when we have been there. Bottom line, we love this place! read more

We've been bring our kids here for years, and have used Bella's for inflatable party rentals at the house, too. Equipment is clean and staff is organized. Free popcorn is fun for the kids as you pick up a bag on the way out. As with any playground, you need to keep an eye on your kids to ensure they're not getting trampled, or trampling others. There are times when it's very full... and we've simply taken a pass and come back later. Great place... would recommend to anyone trying to keep young kids busy on a cold / wet day! read more

I am writing this review after attending a birthday party for a friends 9 year old son. First thing I have to say is that If you or anyone in your party is disabled don't bother. There is not a single handicap parking spot. then having to wrestle the main door open I was met by a female (Sherry or Sherrie) who I can only assume that she was the owner or a manager. She saw that I was on a mobility power chair I shared that I was there for a birthday party and advised me that I was not allowed to go into the play area because my wheels might have something on them that I might track into the play area. I was told that I would have to exit and re-enter in the party room by an outer door. I shared that there was not a single spot designated as handicapped, She said there was and when she looked out the door she only said hmmm. I was invited to a party on valentiones day. It had: Poor lighting. Party room was too small. Small play area. Painting in party room was cheesy. Popcorn was gross. It was in the middle of nowhere. There wasn't a restaurant near by to get a decent dinner....... They should make a window on the wall that faces the jumping area. It will open up the place. I'm never going back. read more

I have mixed feelings about this place. My 3 yo LOVES IT and occasionally asks me to bring him to Bella's Bouncies and no other bounce place will do. My personal feelings are slightly different. I feel he often gets pushed by older, bigger kids and very few parents of those kids say anything. Parents of older kids usually just don't pay any attention (maybe they payed they dues, they kids have been pushed as well and they are used to it :). My kid cried twice so far, because he was pushed too hard (not intentionally obviously, just an accidents, older kids naturally rougher)... I guess it's character building... I wouldn't dream of letting my younger bruiser on those bouncies by himself till the kiddo is at least 2.5 yo and it would have to be not a busy day with very few kids around... but I saw many parents bring 1.5-2 yo and doing helicopter parenting with them on every equipment (if you up for a bit of bouncing that could be a great option). So if you have delicate gentle toddler and you don't want to bounce everywhere with him/her maybe wait till they are at least 3yo or older otherwise go and have fun on bouncies with them. Place itself is a bit small and dark, with multiple tunnels up high & few bouncies stacked one next to another. It has two bathrooms and just one window (hence a bit dark). I feel like bigger and brighter space would be much nicer for the amount of bouncies and tunnels it holds. I don't particularly like it, but kids seems to like it and that is fairly important factor to consider! They also have another smaller room to bounce (I've never been, but that's what my husband told me, when he took kiddo couple of times). We will be visiting in the winter due to proximity from home combined with harsh IL winters that don't allow for that much play outside. Come to think of it, this place is Ok...ish for rainy autumn day or overly hot summer day too! Come see for yourself if this is place for you & your kids :) read more

I was really excited to take my toddler here. As we walk in, there was a nice girl at the counter who then after we filled out the waiver with an iPad, I was told to have fun. I thought OK cool, lets try and FIGURE this out. So as I walk on the mat and sit down so I can take off the little guy's coat and shoes this older woman with curly hair runs up to me and practically yells in my ear, " hey you cant be on the mat". As I tell myself to breathe and not blow up at this lady I say, I am sorry I am new I didn't see any signs or anything specifying it. She said its in the office before I come out here, but the new girl didn't tell me. I politely ask are there any other RULES I should know about. She said no and with her crappy attitude she walked away. OK timeout here, this lady could have approached me a hundred different ways. A more appropriate response would have been. Hi, welcome, is this your first time, OK well a couple things no shoes on the mats, bathrooms are over there, etc. etc. etc.. As I left glancing around I did not see any signs, her attitude really rubbed me the wrong way. I ever heard her yell at another customer for a different issue. Anyways, I will say I do like the cleanliness of the place, but in my opinion this is NOT GOOD for toddlers and since the tunnels were up so high he couldn't take advantage of any of that. In addition I think the bouncy stuff is to big for my little guy which kinda scared him, maybe better for 3/4-9 years old. A note to the business owner, I would suggest taking your tunnel railing off the top of the bathroom. Could you imagine if that was to fall? read more

I do not recommend the open bounce for anyone with small children. The parents accompanying the children are actually the worst part of the whole experience. They sit around and pay no attention at all to their kids as some of the older children bully the younger ones. If you are visiting during open bounce hours and a party happens to be going on in the same area, be prepared for the party-goers to act like they own the place and to allow their children to do whatever they please. There really should be employees in and on the equipment, or at the very least in the same room monitoring what is going on during open bounce. It's completely unsupervised by the staff. read more

I have been to Bella's on several occassions for Birthday parties and I must say this place does NOT dissapoint! The only problem I have ever had was getting my little guy to leave! There are so many different products and seemingly always something new to keep us interested! We have been coming here since they first opened and were called My Jump Place. We love it here but today is the exception. Got here at 5pm. Open Jump from 330 to 730 and when we got here we were ushered into the back play area. Not as nice as the front one. And it's freezing in here, kids are jumping with coats on. And we might leave because everyone is too cold. I asked the girl at the front to turn up the heat which she said she would try but she didn't seem to think it would help. So if you don't like being cold and it's freezing outside, don't come here :-(. Brrrrr.... read more

Horrible customer service and manager is even worse by enabling her behavior! Had my son's 3 year old party there yesterday (Sunday) and for the money spent we should of just went to chuck-e-Chz! It was not my fault the address given on the website once put into the gps took me no where near! So 24 minutes late we finally arrived to greet our guests! The rude lady made her appearance and made it known that we still had a time limit and would need to be out like agreed on and to not clean up because she does it all. I said ok then went on to the guests! Once it was about 30 mins until the end she came in again and suggested we do cake and that she would fill up the balloons and be back. Once I talked it over with my boyfriend who let me say has never been to a "timed" party so he was upset but he understood. I asked her the rate of extra time and walked off to see if I could come up with it. Well it was paid so we went on to playing and me jumping with my bday boy! 20 mins later we gathered the guests for cake and soon after so did this lady. She started picking up boxes and disposing of the stuff on the table. As I was handing out balloons I had parents coming up to me saying the lady was shoving kids around almost as if she was bum rushing these LITTLE kids because again this was a 3 year old's party! Then the lady starts rambling off about our party saying this was the worst party she has ever seen, it was dirty and she just kept repeating it over and over! So horribly rude! Wasn't she ever taught if you have nothing nice to say then say nothing at all?!?? She was the one that said not to clean nothing that she will get it, just take our stuff and that's it! For the amount this room cost to rent you would think there would be some manners! Then as we are trying to hurry and get out of this place the boy carrying the cake dropped it all over the cement! After hearing the lady he picked up all the cake except some frosting and she almost jumped out of her pants when she seen itif you are going to work with kids learn how to deal with your anger! THEN when I called today the manager basically condoned her actions and said he believed what she said???? And that she tried saying I was demanding free time because I was late??!... Ummm I'm sorry but NEVER did that come out my mouth! Never will I hold another party of my own kid's there! While in town visiting for the weekend, we decided to check out Bella's Bouncies Friday night as recommended to us from our local family. Unlike the review from Kati V, we had a great experice being there the same evening. It did not seem cold at all to me or the kids, nor did I even see kids with jackets, eveyone seemed to really enjoy themselves! It was a nice change of pace to be able to play in the other room and I would highly recommend this place to any family. Next time we are in town we will make sure we return for another visit, the children absolutly LOVED Bella's Bouncies ! read more

I've been to several parties here, and my kids always have a great time. It's not huge, but it's big enough to keep the kids busy for hours, and small enough to be able to keep an eye on them. Fun indoor activity for the kids, especially during cold weather months and on rainy days. The environment is clean, and they have a number of different jump experiences for the kids to play on. Additionally, they have a large overhead tunnel device, which my kids love to crawl through. Clean environment. Party room available for birthdays. I am not only a mom, but a home daycare provider. I have used Bella's Bouncies several times in the past, including my own son's birthday. But was shocked when I was told this past Friday March 28 2014, that although I was brining in four children, whom I was paying for, I would have to pay $8 for my twelve year old son, who had no desire to bounce around & play with much younger kids. He even brought his book to sit next to me & read. I argued with the woman behind the desk as she told me, "well, how do I know he's not going to go play? I don't monitor the kids who don't bounce, I'm not even suppose to leave the front desk." But then proceeded to tell me, "we've had parents do it before." Well, how does she know that when she can't leave the front desk? I understand businesses have to have rules, I'm a business owner, & I have rules as well. But I am absolutely furious that I was basically called a liar, & charged $8 for something my child didn't even use!!! I am a single mom with two jobs, struggling to keep my head above water every day, it's people & businesses like this that should be ashamed of themselves! Anything to make a buck! I am, & have always been, a very honest person & would never ever try to sneak my child in to play & then not pay. Does it make sense to anyone that I bring in a group of kids & not pay for just one? I will never use this business again. As a matter of fact, if I ever go to such a place again, I will go out of my way to go to a competitor. FYI.....My friend & I asked the lady behind the front desk to call the owner, as she walked out of the room, (funny how she said she wasn't suppose to do that) to apparently call the owner, we were soon told, "no" we cannot do that. The children in my daycare were so excited about going, I couldn't turn around & leave, however, my friend & I agreed it was a horrible money grubbing policy, she said under principal she would not let me pay for my son, so she did. I thanked her & she said, "I understand, I wouldn't pay for my own child either!" I have told several people about my experiences there & people were shocked & said they would not go there either.
