I'll start with that we are repeat customers of Bella's, the food is great, but the customer service definitely isn't the best. We've ordered several times for delivery, pick up and have eaten there on a few occasions. Tonight we placed a simple order online for delivery. When the driver dropped the food off it was missing the salad, we ordered 3 items, pizza, bread knots and salad(which was an expensive $18.95, plus tax, salad). Instead of attempting to make it easy on the customer the owner decided to argue whose fault it was, delivery guy said all pieces of the order are usually bundled together and the salad wasn't there, the owner said it was on the counter for pick up. Who pays here? The customer. Instead, let's offer to help with getting the salad delivered, no, I had to go on and re-order as they told me to do and they'd refund it. So I re-order and call back and the owner says she'd refund the cost of the salad, to which I stated I just had to pay salad, tax, and delivery again. The customer shouldn't have to resolve this, the owner should. I'm totally disappointed in how I was spoken to and treated and based on tonight would hesitate to order from Bella's again. Hopefully they will follow through and credit back my loss since it certainly wasn't my error. Bummer. read more

Some background, I normally go to Pie Nation Pizza, which was amazing. This reminded me of the pizza of my youth. It seems they've gone out of business so we gave Bella's a shot. Ordered a cheese pizza and added some specific toppings. Well, the pizza immediately disappointed on opening the box. The crust wasn't puffed up or thick like Pie Nation, and everything looked flat and boring, like a pizza a child would order. Taste wasn't quite there either. The crust was okay but nothing special. I just really miss Pie Nation. We will be trying a different place next time. read more

I was finally able to make here to try it out since I have been reading the reviews for years now. I can honestly say this family run establishment is the real deal. A simple humble place that makes AMAZING pizza and down to earth service. We had a large party of 12 and they made it work. The price is quite reasonable. We had the garlic knots and yep they are as good as everyone says they are (don't mind if I wipe some of that buttery goodness on the plate with my torn off bread)! After a family emergency drew us in the area unexpectedly, our original dinner plans got cancelled so a last minute search for pizza landed us at Bella's and it turned out to be the best decision. It was late, almost to closing, but they had the game 7 World Series on their big screen TV and it was the top of extra innings so we wanted to watch. Even though they had closed the dining room for the evening, they graciously let us dine-in and finish watch the game. Their service was great! Even though we got our pizza packaged in a box, they served us as if we were dining in. We ordered a large New York style pizza, 1/2 Margherita and 1/2 Meat Lovers and it came out hot and yummy with a nice crisp bottom crust. Lots of seating, a bar and a couple of big screens for the sport fans to feel at home. Scroll down for the food portion of the review this was a lot to capture. Well now let's get to it. This was a pizza shop I yelped for the area. To my surprise the end product was worth the experience. About that experience hmm, I had the luxury of arriving in the calm before the pending storm which was High School Graduations. Trust me when I say it was a storm. The seating capacity accommodates approximately 48 persons and a third full when I set foot in the establishment. So here they offer New York and Chicago (thin) style pizza. After reviewing the menu and placing my order I was advised of the 30 minute wait time. I elected to wait inside and witnessed what seemed to be a steady night to chaotic within a matter of minutes. Two large parties arrived to be seated and the phones started ringing non stop. You could see the stress starting to rapidly increase as the pressure mounted. The young man at the register repeatedly expressed wanting to disconnect the phone but thankfully did not and was encouraged to continue with what he needed to do next. There was one server for the floor who was assisted in setting up the tables and grabbing orders there was one server for the bar area near the register who was the calmest but did have to pause frequently to recall the tasks which needed to be done. In the back the boy was getting it done as the orders started flowing. There was a bit of a breakdown that happened with the pizza cutter and presumably the lead chef causing him to deviate from his main focus to slice a pie and outwardly venting his frustration. Later I did gather it was a family owned establishment which somewhat explained their dynamic. Despite all of the chaos and improper anticipation for graduation crowding the family held strong as a unit. For the area there were four high school gradations happening on the same day at roughly the same time. At least one person knew that information but I don't think it would have made a drastic difference even if prepared properly. VERY GOOD JOB OF ACCEPTING THE VOLUME, BENDING BUT NOT BREAKING, AND THE TEAM IN THE BACK FOR GOING INTO OVERDRIVE AND MAKING IT HAPPEN. THOSE YOUNG MEN AND "DAD" GOT STUFF DONE. Then I want to give Kudos to Stephanie as she held it strong!!! ************* Now for the food I ordered 3 pies margarita, supreme, and pepperoni with pineapple (Chicago thin). The flavor of the topping and the sauce was very good. The dough was thicker than I'm used to from both places but its style so nothing really negative on them. I really wish I photographed the pizza but we were hungry and it was so good. We ordered a salad too which they were able to customize to fit dietary needs. The salad wait time actually kept us past the pizzas being made largely due to the rush they got from customers. The crust is very tasty on the inside fluffy it looks really nice and then you get that bite and all you can do is feel like you have sand in your mouth was so much cornmeal. I wish they would use flour and not so much cornmeal really no corn me at all when you take a bite I don't want grit I want crunch or soft not grit, but that doesn't make it a bad pizza some people like that like I said it was very nice looking pizza and it looked like it was gonna be great and when I ate the top part of the crust, it was delicious. I just can't Stan cornmeal. I ordered it from DoorDash. The driver was amazing. This service was above and beyond, but that's neither here and there for the taste of the pizza. I came here last night with my sister after a nice relaxing day at the hot springs. We weren't sure if they were about to close or not since we saw conflicting information online about their hours, so we were prepared to be told the kitchen was closed or closing soon. Whatever the case, we were told to come in and we felt that genuine family-owned hospitality that you will never get at a chain restaurant. We were sat and handed our menus. The women waiting on us were absolutely delightful and sweet. Their service gave that wholesome feeling of visiting beloved family that you only get to see when you travel to them for the holidays. The food was great, but the absolute show stoppers were their warm and crispy garlic knots which were insanely delicious. They're a must try, especially for anyone visiting for the first time. Unfortunately, we were visiting from south Orange County for the day so this place isn't close enough for us to return as much as we'd love to. Myself and a group of friends stumbled upon this place. It is hidden in a shopping center across the street from In-n-Out off the 215 in Murrieta. The costumer service was excellent. The staff were super friendly from the minute we walked in to the moment we left. We dined in and they brought us fresh garlic bread to our table. It was amazing. It was soft and full of flavor. A must try. They offer different styles of pizza. They also make pasta and other items. The pizza was amazing. This is one of the rare times I was unable to take photos. The group I was with was so hungry the food did not last. If you are in the area the food is a MUST try. I guarantee you will love the pizza and bread. It's good pizza. I can't tell you anything about any other item on their menu, but the pizza was pretty on point. They have two styles--NY and Chicago. It's not deep dish Chicago, but rather a thin cracker type crust, cut into squares. We didn't get it, but it looks good. We opted for the NY version, which wasnt really reminiscent of a NY pie, but it was cut into triangles, and it was tasty. The meat lovers has sausage, pepperoni, and sliced meatballs. This was our first time here and the service was exceptional!! Stephanie, our server, was extremely attentive and pleasant!!! The pizza was absolutely fantastic. The owner, Bill, came out and greeted us and talked to us and it was a very 'East Coast/Chicago feel' in the restaurant. I felt like I was back East!! These guy's make a rock-solid pie. I'm not a fan of thin crust, so I got the traditional, which seems like a thin crust. Let me tell you what I had delivered last tonight! MEDIUM PIE WITH PINEAPPLE, PEPPERONI, AND BLACK OLIVES SLICES: They did not separate easily and ended up tearing 2/3rds of the slice. CRUST: Thin/Traditional crust was not fully risen and doughy toward the center. It had crisp cornmeal specks on the bottom (adds flavor and protects crust). However, a thin crust gets soggy when delivery isn't in a good hot bag. I was a delivery guy back in the day, so I speak from experience. Overall, Crust was golden brown and looked appealing. SAUCE: Red sauce was above average. Captured a real "Mom and Pop" shop, where they put a little more work into their sauces. Tasted like the real deal - slow-cooked, ripe tomatoes with a touch of herbs - Groovy! CHEESE: Delightfully gooey mozzarella. Generously applied without overdoing it. The flavor was mild, as would be expected. PINEAPPLES: Sweet and generously applied. Other shops use under-ripe pineapples that detract from the entire flavor of the pie. BLACK OLIVES: Did the job and generously applied. PEPPERONI: Thinly sliced pepperoni that looked like salami. However, pepperoni comes in many shapes and sizes. What's most important was the meat delivered just enough flavor without overpowering other ingredients. PRO MOVE: Topped their pizza with a light Italian seasoning. Very few pizza shops and chains forget this pro move, which amps up seasonings in the crust, sauce, and meats. Went in last night to place an order to go, the owner Bill and his daughter Sam were working and were the most polite, friendly people who took care of us with such fast service (not that we were in a rush) but their service was above and beyond. I've been to Bella's Pizza twice - once over 10 years ago and recently. The first time is a bit blurry; I was young, and all I remember is my then-boyfriend not liking it. Now, with a more refined taste, I tried the meat lovers Chicago-style pizza, giving it a solid 7/10 - not mind-blowing but good. The garlic rolls were okay, but a bit much for me. I had to scrape off some seasoning, but they were still on the "good" side. A friend loved the lasagna, rating it 8/10. Overall, I'd give Bella's Pizza 4/5 stars; I'd come back to try more.
