It's right off of Carson Street across the street from the Town Center more so across from Sam's Club. It is hidden and it's a perfect hidden gem for little ones. It seems that you are able to have picnics and parties here of course with reservations ahead of time. The animals and the petting zoo were so sweet and the staff was very friendly. The highlight of the trip was the pony rides.

Buying a medium sized container of feed was more than enough, IMHO. Visitors are required to feed only the goats & sheep from the other side of the enclosure. Without feed, visitors can enter the closure & pet/brush the animals. Besides the goats & sheep, there are 2 pigs, chickens, and in a separate enclosure, emus & a cow. No access allowed to those, however. Pony rides are an option for little kids. The ride is around an oval track. There is also a playground area to burn up some energy. A few handwashing stations on premises to stay hygienic during your visit. Barnyard Buddies is an accessible nearby barnyard experience. I was lucky enough to grow up around chickens, so I'm not new to livestock. It's my firm belief kids should be around animals, and know where their food comes from, whether it be eggs, milk and/or meat. While not a place I'd recommend traveling large distances to visit, for those nearby or whom happen to be in the area, Barnyard Buddies is a wonderful opportunity to feed enthusiastically hungry goats & sheep, and brush plump piggies. Highly recommend!

They have a main exhibit hall with all sorts of marine life from the biggest moon jelly you'll ever see to little predator snails to cute baby sharks. Then, you can see the discovery center which has all sorts of bones, interactive pieces, and what not. But surprisingly, our favorite exhibit was the nursery where it's a research lab where they brew up algae, breed seahorses, and all sorts of nature preservation projects. Definitely worth a walkthrough. Did I mention it's free to come here? But you can also donate and by all means, should donate, cause this is a precious institution that should remain for future generations to come. Anyway, this was a great spot for young and old folks alike. Parking is paid, maybe like $3/hr up to a max of $9?

Not only is it educational, but it's a great place for the whole family and it's free. You can of course make a donation but it's such a great spot to come too. You can bring your lunch and just hang. What's so neat about this place is that it's next to the Marina and there's a cool park in the same area so you can hit the water and swings area and have a picnic. As you enter they are so friendly and will answer your questions if you have any. You can also become a member and they have their perks as well. You can also get a tour with someone who works there and you can also go on your own and at your own pace. But everyone here is FRiENDLY! The bathrooms were very clean and they even had 2 big bathrooms with changing tables and for the family as well enough room for all. The displays, information and the real life bones and all they have of the whales, sharks and history and facts is so mind blowing and really keeps you interested even if you are young and older as well. So many fun facts and animals to see. Lots of cool fish and sea creatures that you can admire and just mind blowing that these were created for us to enjoy and research and some even make us laugh. The whole place was just great all around from inside to the outside just so many cool features and even a cool area for the infants and toddlers to read books, touch cool animals and just dive into fun facts. As you end your day there there is a cool shop you can get some fun stuff and snacks as well. Dangerous place to take the kids ha ha.. they have some cool squishies and fun stuffies that they will want. The prices are reasonable but for a good cause for sure. I can't wait to be back. Def a cool spot to come hang with the whole family. Parking is $3 for 1 hr and if you stay a bit longer it's ok they don't check. Bring your lunch and come hang here.

He seemed extremely passionate in what he does! Giving a low rating just because of our experience with front desk staff. We come in super cordial just to be met with stank attitudes. A few weeks after our session, we called the place to follow up on our pieces and the woman on the phone sounded rude about us asking about it. We went to pick up our pieces recently and the woman at the front desk definitely sounded like the one we talked to on the phone, same voice and same unwelcoming attitude. As if our presence ruined her day or us picking up our pieces was such a drastic request for her to do.

Your $180 monthly membership does not include firing you glazed piece (that cast extra) and you will need to give a 30 day notice ( even though you will not be using the membership at all like in my case where I am unable to). I broke my finger 2 days after I started, so I could not use this membership for weeks in the beginning but did not complain. This was my problem. But... all together I have used the facility one time and then had personal issues that prevents me from using it now. I did not see the 30 day notice and am paying because I did sign it. It seems much like grifting. There is no downside for the studio (not using equipment so no wear and tear) except the loss of my monthly payment. Perhaps this sounds like sour grapes but I truly do not understand this extra month of payment besides they must think they need my money worse than I do.

I found Kid Town and it was a lifesaver. We met so many nice people and my daughter made lots of friends. The employees were wonderful and helpful too. They were very patient with my daughter when she wanted to try the rock wall. My only gripe is that I made the mistake of not buying the pass and ended up paying more than I could have. Unfortunately, it's disappointing to see that the playground hasn't really been updated or improved over that time. Many of the play areas look exactly the same, and it would be nice to see some new equipment or renovations to keep the experience fresh for returning families. Another concern is safety. The facility doesn't require grip socks, and they don't even sell them on-site. Grip socks are important in indoor playgrounds because the floors and play structures can become slippery, increasing the risk of slips and falls. Implementing a grip sock policy would be a simple way to help keep kids safer. My son still enjoys coming here, but after so many years, I hope the owners invest in updating the facility and improving safety standards.
