If you are reading this review, you are probably in need of air conditioning service. Call Belle Air Systems now!! I was recently in need of air conditioning service. Anyone who lives in Roseville, Rocklin, or the Sacramento-area, knows how important air conditioning is during the summer months, especially considering the 110+ temperatures we've been experiencing lately. I will share with you two scenarios that happened to me this week. You chose which scenario is right for you. Scenario #1: At 6:06 pm, on 6/20/17, I called Belle Air Systems and left a voice message requesting service on my 16 year old air conditioning system. At 6:54 pm (48 minutes after leaving my voice message), Eric, the business owner, called me and said he could have a technician at my home the next morning, between 8 am and noon. Dave, the technician, called me the next morning at 8:45 am, indicating he was on his way and expected to be at my home by 9 am. Minutes later (prior to 9 am) he arrived. Dave introduced himself with a smile, provided me with a business card, asked me a few questions about my air conditioning system, and he immediately went to work. Within minutes he isolated the problem to a failed component, and he provided me with a verbal quote to replace the faulty part. Dave was thorough and professional, and he was in and out within an hour. My air conditioning was back in operation and normal temperatures were restored within a matter of hours. Scenario #2: I have a home service plan with Beutler, so when my air conditioning system failed on 6/20/17 I called them hoping beyond hope they could respond (I was told individuals with a home service plan were given priority service over the general population). Not only did it take over 20 minutes to get someone to answer the call, Beutler could not offer any information regarding availability or expectations for a return call. In fact, Beutler didn't even ask if we had a home service plan. I called Beutler again approximately 90 minutes later and left our information a second time, ensuring they knew we had a home service plan. Today is 6/23/17, and Beutler has still not called us in response to our service requests. If Beutler was my only option, I would have been living out of a hotel room the past few days (spending more for rental accommodations than I spent with Belle Air Systems to restore air conditioning service at my home). I Called Belle Air Systems to get a second opinion after another HVAC company (sent by my home warranty company) said my condenser was shorted to ground and that the failure was NOT due to normal wear and tear but due to external damage to my unit which was ridiculous. Due to the write-up the other company gave, my claim was denied by my home warranty company. Eric came out and checked my unit and got my AC back up and running within ten minutes! He told me several things were incorrect about my previous diagnosis. First, that the failure had nothing to due with the physical damage which was purely cosmetic, but also that due to the fact the unit was 24 years old and the house had been a rental for over 22 of those years, that he would be surprised if there wasn't any physical damage. In addition, the first tech completely misdiagnosed the problem as there was no short to ground. The problem was simply an old capacitor with a low charge and a tripped breaker, likely the result of the low capacitor. Eric also went above and beyond and wrote up an invoice for the home warranty company stating the complete misdiagnosis of the first tech they sent out, as well as the fact that the physical damage that was noted was purely cosmetic and could not in any way cause a failure. If that wasn't good enough, he told me to have my home warranty company call him and that he would be happy to speak with them. They called Eric and spoke with him and circled back with me noting that he confirmed everything and they are now working to reverse the denial on my claim thanks to Eric. I will be a customer for life and will absolutely be recommending Belle Air System's and Eric to all of my friends and family! read more

In November, my heater was cycling on/off continuously until the set temperature was reached. I turned the heat off because I knew something was wrong with the system and it was only going to do it more damage by leaving it on. I was without heat for a couple of weeks while I was researching online about HVAC companies. I chose to call Belle Air Systems in Roseville because of the positive reviews. I called on Thanksgiving day and did not expect a call back til Friday or Monday. Eric (the owner) came out on Friday morning and checked out my unit. Because it was 20yrs old and had several problems, including a rusted out bottom due to a leak, he recommended a new unit. I was not surprised by this as I knew it was an old unit and in bad shape. He provided pictures of the unit and where the problems were. He gave me a very detailed quote with two options and answered all my questions. The price was very competitive. The work was done less than a week later. I could not be happier with price and work that was done by Eric and his crew. They were very punctual and called before arriving and called it timing needed to be adjusted. They had to work in a very small space up in the attic and did a terrific job of protecting the carpeting in my home. He helped every step of the way with coordinating inspections to helping me get me rebate from the city. Belle Air Systems definitely has a customer for life. Good work guys! read more

If you want to work with an honest, hard-working, fast-working guy, Eric is your man. Our heater broke down in early December. Eric came out the same day, promised to research what appeared to be an electronic board problem with what I'd call a "funky", off-brand, budget heater installed by the subdivision builder. True to his word he was on the phone with me first thing the next morning and worked out a plan to have the board in hand and installed a day later when it arrived. We also discussed the possibility of replacing the heater if it came to that. He brought the board, further checked the health of the heater (we're getting ready to list our house and wanted to be sure the unit would hold up for a new owner). We determined that the exchanger had become so marginal that the only thing to do was replace the whole heater. Eric did his best to minimize the pain of the bigger outlay, and while his assistant dismantled the existing heater, Eric dashed off to get the new one. He returned, installed and was out the door by 2 PM (they arrived at 10 AM). That kind of turnaround on what was to be a simple board replacement, is unheard of. Thank God for guys like Eric who care enough to make it happen quickly when the forecast for tonight in Roseville is 32 F! My wife is one happy camper. read more

I learned about Bel Air Systems through the neighborhood site Nextdoor. I couldn't be more happier with the new system installed by Eric and his two employees. They installed a 2 ton package unit (heating and air conditioner ) in one day, and changed my thermostat. I had a home warranty with American Home Shield. To say I was dissatisfied with their customer service and the contractor they sent would be an understatement. The contractor insisted that we agree to more than $3000.00 in so-called "upgrades" before they would start work. We didn't need the upgrades. They were clearly trying to make up money they weren't being paid by AHS. I received six other estimates before deciding to go with Eric's company. Their bid was competitive and easy to understand. They completed the work in a professional manner and their install passed the duct test with flying colors. The Bryant system they installed is quiet and provides even heating of the area it services. They educated me as to how to keep it cleaned and to keep bugs/critters from invading the critical components - important as we live somewhat in the country. I used Belle Air Systems twice, once at my condo 3 years ago and now at my newest residence. The second time around, I didn't get estimates because I knew Eric and Belle Air Systems was the best small company around. With smaller companies, you get outstanding customer service and better pricing. I highly recommend Belle Air Systems, they stand behind their work and product. I also wanted to mention that when I sold my condo, the home inspector noted what he thought was a deficiency in my HVAC system by citing an old "stock" photo of how a drain line should look (the inspector missed the drain line in his observation of the system). The system had passed inspection 3 years earlier so I knew there was something wrong with the home inspectors report. Eric sent out Dave immediately so that the inaccurate home inspection report would not jeordarize the sale of my condo. Dave installed a 2nd water sensor, which wasn't required by code, then wrote a lengthy report about the system and how it works and also called the home inspector to educate him on newer HVAC systems. This is a great example of the customer service you will receive from Belle Air Systems. Simply put, I'm glad I found Belle Air Systems! I called Eric to get a second opinion on a diagnosis I had been given from another company surrounding a heater problem I was having. Eric had time later that same day and stopped by the house. I explained the problem and he immediately went to work. His assessment revealed that the problem was more extensive than the first technician revealed to me. The repairs Eric recommended were more involved, but what he quoted slightly less money to do the repairs. Eric is one of those technicians who is down to earth and seems very trustworthy. With that, I asked him to order the required parts for the repair. The next day, he was back at the house (with assistant Dave!) and after some quick work doing the install, my heater was working literally better than before! I best describe my experience as very professional! From the updated communication (which some companies seem to struggle with), to the prompt arrival times, and let's not forget attention to detail such as wearing 'booties' to protect the carpeting....I have nothing but positive things to say about Eric and his company! First, I had called several companies to set up an appointment to get estimates for a full HVAC replacement. I talked with Eric extensively over the phone, set up the estimate appointment. Next, we took three appointments, our regular HVAC company (who will not be named) came out, then Belle Air came next and Eric personally came to complete the estimate. We talked more, he told me what to expect, how long it would take and within 24 hours, had his bid. I liked Eric's professionalism so much, I immediately cancelled the third estimate and booked the install appointment with Belle Air. Next, the install was on time, they cleaned up all their mess and done in one day. That was done April 2019. Fast forward to today (feb. 2020) I had the city inspector out to close the permit and I was missing paperwork. I called Belle Air and Eric answered. Told him I had a problem, he spoke to the inspector, emailed me the paperwork (which was sent previously I just didn't have it with me) within minutes. Inspector looked at Eric's email, found what he needed, looked at the work - said it was an excellent install, everything looked perfect. My wife and I needed to replace our entire HVAC system as our old system was 17 years old and failing. We contacted a couple of HVAC companies to get a quote only to find the staggering cost to replace our old system. Our realtor/friend suggested that we call Eric at Belle Air Systems. I've had several positive experiences with Belle Air. I had an AC unit fail in the middle of August at a rental property in Roseville a few years back and Eric and team were very responsive in getting the new system installed quickly for us. And their pricing is competitive, esp if comparing to the bigger incumbents. I had them back for regular maintenance at that same house, and a final inspection before putting it on market, and personally had only good experiences with them. Recently my mother's heat exchanger was discovered to be faulty during the annual inspection by another company that she used. We wanted to get a second opinion and estimate. Eric sent Dave out to assess the unit within a day. Heat exchanger in fact was bad. the quote was very competitive, Dave was very professional and knowledgeable and gave some new insights. My mother decided to stay with the company she had been using for years to do the work, which Dave understood and was very gracious about not having won the bid but gave my mother an added level of assurance with his approach.
