I found Belle's as I was searching for some sweet treats for a fair price. When I walked in and started ordering the service was very kind and welcoming. I ordered a hot chocolate, chocolate latte, classic sandwich, an eclair, and a chocolate muffin and I thought it was going to be expensive but the price was very nice. I sat inside and looked at the beautifully decorated establishment as I waited for my food. I was pleasantly surprised when my food was brought to me, not necessary but something very courteous. Not exactly a restaurant. More of a store - a bakery. No ambiance. Dark. Drab and very unappealing. Took one look and walked out. The parking is also not good. Idiot get out of the lot especially if someone else pulls in. The entire thing was negative. Noticed a little porch on the side if you want to eat in the parking lot. Worst service ever. Please spare your time. First they ruined my birthday breakfast! And for some reason I got dragged there and didn't even realize the building was the same but as SOON as I saw the horrible women behind the counters again.. I knew then , that my New Years Eve was just as ruined. They have the poorest manners I have ever experienced and will blatantly ignore you and skip around in the customers' waiting line to service whomever they choose. We were not alone in our decision to leave (since we weren't even being served). I wanted to love this bakery as I saw it from the outside. The name was alluring, and the store front was welcoming with an air of that French country - and it promised so much as the boards are well drawn and gives you that European café feel. But that's about it. Nothing else is quaint and café-ish. It's more like a diner, where you can grab a quick cup of coffee and a Danish, or perhaps an omelet. An omelet we had which was bland. Very bland. No kick no spirit. It came with 3 pieces of soft bread, but no jam. When I asked for jam, I was given one little little pre-packed jam. The décor is ... well the colored patterned odd table cloths are just too much, doesn't go with anything. And everything is all over the spectrum and just doesn't blend. The service was cautiously kind... This place has so much potential to be a beautiful unique café; my friend lives close by and I would like to visit often. But I won't. Amazing little gem in Studio City! I discovered this bakery/coffee shop when I lived a few miles down the street and now that I no longer live in the neighborhood, I continue to make the drive down from Sylmar a few times a month and sometimes even a few times a week! Everything here is short of delicious. All of their bread and pastries are solid and you can expect to have a simple but amazing sandwich for breakfast or lunch every time you come in. Some of my favorites include the smoked salmon, fried egg, veggie, and rosemary chicken. I'm not a huge fan of sweets but I've tried a few of their cookies and pastries and they have also been amazing every time. Let me tell y'all about the real star of this gem for me and what keeps me coming back. For me, it's all about their almond milk cappuccino! That's right, it's not their bread (which is great, please come give them a try) or their pastries, but really their almond foam that keeps me coming back. I'm a huge fan of cappuccinos but sadly cannot tolerate dairy. If you know a good cappuccino you know it's all about the foam and you also know that the foam you get with whole milk derived from cows does not compare to nondairy milk. Nondairy milk just does not foam and most of the time you end up disappointed with what really is a latte rather than a cap. Not at Belle's! I believe it's really in their machine because I'm almost certain they use silk almond milk (nothing too fancy). I've attached a photo so you can see the foamy goodness y'all! I'm a foodie and I absolutely love eating out! I've tried many, many, many, almond milk cappuccinos in multiple states and I've yet to find one as good as Belles! Give them a try for their great food and if you are a fan of the caps like I am then please give their almond milk cap a try. Oh yeah! Their staff is also pretty sweet! Coffee was below average with burnt taste and what tasted like a machine thats not being cleaned enough. Short handed it seems. No one to clean tables. Do not give you napkin with your order. Fair pricing . Friendly service pretty good food. I was fortunate to get the last cinnamon twist which belle only makes 8 pieces each day. The flavor was good not overly sweet but I wanted a little more flakiness I'm assuming mine was out for a couple hours there was some good candies pecan pieces in between that added some great texture and flavor. Overall solid 7.5/10 I ate mine too quickly for a photo haha . I'd definitely come back to try more sweets :) read more

I like to write reviews on Yelp when I really feel a business deserves one and Belle Bakery deserves a fantastic review! I grew up going to Belwood Bakery in Brentwood and then was super excited when they opened in Studjo City many years ago. A couple years pre- Covid they were bought by a new owner. The food was awful, I'm taking cupcakes that sat for days and days until they were finally sold and the owner was terribly unfriendly. So, we stopped going. Fast forward to last summer when I saw the big "new ownership sign". I was curious about the changes so decided to give it a try. Let's just say, I live in Calabasas and I drive here at least once a week! The new owners are SO friendly. I have a 3 year old daughter and they will make her any kind of sandwich (if they have the ingredients of course) and will even cut it in quarters to our liking! So to say they are accommodating is an understatement. The food is fresh, the baked goods are really tasty and it's just really nice to support this hardworking family. Definitely give it a try if you haven't already. :) read more

Belle Bakery is a great little coffee shop and bakery. I stopped in one morning before work this week. Plenty of parking in their lot right in front of the shop. I ordered a ham and cheese sandwich for breakfast. They don't have bacon. But the thing is their bread - it is really good. Fresh and delicious. I like that you can pour your own coffee, because I drink Half-caf - a little from the caffeinated, and a little from the decaf. But what I really want to rave about is their Orange Juice, really fresh, and not acidic at all - the best orange juice I have ever had. I got a Roast Beef sandwich "to go" for my lunch at the office. I put it in the microwave and omg, it was so good. Once again its the bread, very delicious. This place has been around for many years in many different incarnations. It's recently been taken over as the Belle Bakery Cafe and the new owners couldn't be nicer. There's a charming French cafe feel inside and there is additional seating outside for nice days. Their latte game is on point and they offer almond and soy milk for people who don't do dairy which is a plus. Beyond their espresso drinks they have regular and decaf coffee and also a flavor of the day - today was hazelnut. The pastries are baked in house so they're very fresh and they make all egg dishes and sandwiches fresh on the spot however you want it *and* with a smile. What I love most about this place is that they make your oatmeal as you want it, which means with water or with milk and that is a game changer for people who are vegan. That said, they could add a few vegan pastries just to spice it up for those of us who don't do dairy and eggs. I know they'd sell well. Beyond the oatmeal, this is a place where a vegan would come with friends and be able to enjoy nothing but the coffee so adding a few pastries for us might be a smart idea. Still, it's a sweet little cafe with good coffee and plenty of on-site parking so it's worth a stop if you're looking for something that's not a chain. read more

I ordered an omelette and coffee. The omelette was super delicious, but the coffee was a bit of a let down. They have a wonderful dark roast coffee and if you're lucky enough to snag a pop tart in the morning savor it because they're incredible!
