We tried Belle Bakery for the first time recently and discovered it's a very nice option in the area. I had a ham and cheese croissant which was good but I really enjoyed the flavor and texture of the peach tart I had later in the afternoon after a long run. My son had their chocolate croissant and my bff who swears he had suggested coming here many moons ago and I declined had the sausage and onion croissant which didn't seem to impress and a black and white cookie that I knew wouldn't be so fab (the only good black and white in this area is at Bea's in Tarzana). Long wait time, horrible vanilla ice blend. No coffee or vanilla flavor. Just iced milk. Chocolate croissant was ok but not worth the drive/visit. Let me first promise you the pastries come in whole pieces, I was just too excited to take a picture before I took a bite out of everything I'm not a sweets person in general but these are the best. Texture is everything here. My favorite one is the cranberry scone. Its not hard and its not like a cookie, but its also not like a cake. I can't explain it but its very airy, light, but also dense. Just try it. I tried the banana walnut muffin for the first time today and that's also my favorite one. The coffee cakes crumbles were very yummy, and I loved the berry muffins. Everything feels so light and not overly sweet. I haven't tried the Madelines; got those for mom. (BTW, there were 3 scones prior to this photo)... Giselle and Victoria LOOOOVED their doggy treats! I'm surprised they ate them because they normally turn down anything that's not meat, but they devoured these treats and now I'm thinking I wanna try one too next time I also got an iced Americano, which I enjoyed. It's usually a hit or miss everywhere, but theirs was good. I hesitate going to places on the boulevard because I hate the parking situation, but theres so many places to park up front, to the side, on the street, it wasn't bad at all. They also have a cute, raised patio to the side you can have coffee at with a friend or a date (I'd never take a date here though because lowkey the way I inhale these pastries is embarrassing and shouldn't be witnessed by other humans lol!) Service was wonderful! The girls are sweet and the guys have always been friendly. They make breads too! The BEST customer service and the coffee is AMAZING! The gal at the counter made me a dirty chai latte, which I drink often, but this was the best latte I've had in years. Both her and the owner were extremely kind and welcoming! The inside has tables and really comfortable high chairs at the window. I highly recommend Belle Bakery to anyone who loves good bread, coffee, and service! I stopped by for the first time last week and was surprised at the wide pastry selections they had. They had the classics--croissants, eclairs, cookies, etc.--but they also had some unconventional pastries like a Nutella churro and macaroons. I grabbed a rugelach cookie and a chai latte to start, and they were both delicious! I'm quite picky with my chai lattes, and I would definitely grab another one at Belle Bakery again. I was so impressed that I ordered their breakfast sandwich, and I'm definitely stopping for another one this week. It was so good! You get to pick your bread, made fresh in store, and a heavenly aioli sauce puts all the high quality ingredients together. Service is also great and the staff is really friendly. I love this cafe. Perfect lil french style patisserie. If you have the flu, get warm chai tea and croissant with butter. If you need a snack? the hot chocolate with muffin or cheese pastry is divine. 3.5 stars Came here to grab a quick bite to eat the other day in between things on a friend's recommendation. It's a small, cute, homey feeling spot with a few tables and a couch. There are also a few patio tables outside. I ordered a rosemary chicken salad with balsamic dressing on the side, no cheese, add avocado. The salad was good. I really enjoyed the chicken. It was warm, moist, and had good flavor. The rest of the salad was good, although a lot of the romaine was the inside, yellow-er not so green parts, but at least it tasted okay. Nothing special though other than the chicken, which was delicious. I also got a few cookies to take home to the family and try. The black and white cookie was good BUT it was a shortbread cookie. DO NOT MAKE A BLACK AND WHITE COOKIE WITH THE WRONG KIND OF COOKIE, especially in the valley where there are plenty of Jews who know better. The other two cookies I got because I'd never seen that kind before. They were long stick looking cookies. One was pretty good and supposedly had jam in it, though I couldn't really taste that. They other was this odd, bready/flaky croissanty thing with sugar and almonds on top. It was not very good. I took one bite and just at the almond slices off it. So that brings me to service. If it had been just the above, I would have given this place 4 stars because I did enjoy the salad and it's a cute little spot, but the man who helped me was horrible. When I asked about the long cookies, for example, he said "it's like a cookie with jam." When I looked at the menu it say "sandwiches and salads" but everything listed had sandwich after it. I asked what salads they had and I had to ask 4 different ways before I finally got a clear answer. Around that time a very nice, much better at that service thing woman came out and helped me and rung me up. She was great and so much better than the other dude. My food did come out quickly once I ordered. Anyway, I'd come back again if I needed something quick and am in the area, but wouldn't go out of my way. read more

This place is one of the most welcoming bakeries, sandwich , croissants, danishes and dessert places to go in Studio City and the surrounding area. Their baguettes regular and sourdough are phenomenal but be aware they make them only once a day in the morning after the rush and before lunch, They come out of the oven between 11-12 so order in advance or you will not get one. Their rolls are delicious but the baguettes are the best. Of course you can special order the day before if you are a planner and they will be grateful because they will not be disappointing you. read more

Yum!!! This was my first time at Belle Bakery and it won't be my last! I had a delicious BLT sandwich on Sourdough French roll. The bread was fresh and the bacon was generous and SO good!! I also had a long cinnamon pastry that was INCREDIBLE. Their coffee choices have something for everyone and I ordered two savory cheese borekas to take home!! They have tables inside and out and a really cute patio. The place looks spotlessly clean and the owner was friendly! YAY! Can't wait to return and bring my family. First time visit today at the recommendation of a friend. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Talked to Chef Tony and his mom--they took over this spot a couple years ago and reimagined it. We tried a bit of everything--pastrami sandwich (added egg and avocado) which was maybe the best pastrami sandwich I've had (and I've had, honestly, too many), mocha bun (great as-is, but dipped in their coffee...next level), danish, raisin cinnamon roll (almost sold out so I jumped) and chocolate croissant (the French style with the thin chocolate for flavor)....everything was 10/10, no notes. They explained that they make everything from scratch, and it shows. I'd say the pastries lean toward the buttery more than sugary flavors, but perfectly balanced IMO. Oh, and the coffee was great--didn't need to add anything. Staff was knowledgeable and pleasant. Already told my parents I'm taking them here next time they come to visit. Definitely in an area with a lot of competition, so my rec is to give them a try and choose for yourself. They weren't packed while I was there late morning, but a regular flow of people coming in, picking up, and going, so I think they've got a lot of regulars the same way they now have me. Cute neighborhood bakery/cafe with a few tables inside and outside. They have a wide variety of pastries to choose from. My favorites are the meringue and the almond flakey bar (not sure what is actually called). The meringue is so light and fluffy, I usually buy meringue at any bakery and by far these are the best. I purchased the chicken vegetable soup, which came with a few small bread slices and it was super hot in terms of temperature. It burned my mouth (my to tongue is still burning), and I usually drink my coffee very hot each morning. Also, the soup had little chicken and not much flavor. It was really disappointing and overpriced; I spent over $7 for it before tax and tip. However, please note this is only based on the one dish I had and I'm sure other dishes would be better.
