When I began going here for nail services, the quality of my manicures and pedicures was about a 7 on a scale of 10. That gradually changed and got worse over the months I went there. I'd noticed a lot of new nail techs where cycling in and out of the shop, so I never knew what I was going to get quality wise, or who I'd get, as some of those people were brand new and had little experience. I noticed it'd get oppressively quiet when the owner came in to work. Sometimes he'd start a customer, get mad about something and hand her over to another nail person. I found out later that the owner had an awful temper and the staff found it was best to remain silent when he was around. Anyway, when the day came I had to file my own nails (because the nail tech had filed them into points that looked like house roofs), I paid my bill, never went back and found another salon that I'm happy with. I'd never recommend this salon to anyone. read more

We came to Louisville for a day trip my husband went gun shopping and I went to the salon for a mani/pedi. Hanna was my mail tech and I can not rave enough about her. I got the second to the top pedicure. It was quite possibly the best pedicure I've ever had. Hanna was so thorough and very meticulous. Same with the manicure flawless. I got the gel on both. The message on the pedicure was amazing. She took so much time with me and the salon was nice and quiet. The workers were all focusing on the clients and not really chatting with one another which was a really nice change of pace from most nail salons. The salon was very clean and the equipment looked very new. The massage chair was amazing. I was so relaxed when I left there I thought my husband might have to carry me to the car! I am very upset with my service today. The guy that did my pedicure cut a gash in my toe, I did not receive a massage or lotion, polish looks horrible. I requested my massage and lotion and he didn't seem to understand me. The person after me received there's though and he didn't seem rough with her. The atmosphere is very relaxing, the nail technicians are nice and gentle, and their facility is very clean. They adhere to Covid-19 rules. I've been to this nail salon many times and usually have a very good experience, but I will not be going back after today's experience. Instead of relaxing and enjoy "me time" in the middle of my busy day, I felt like I was sitting in the middle of an employee break room. Five employees who apparently had nothing else to do were all crowded around me talking loudly to one another and all on their phones. At one point one employee began clipping their own nails onto the floor and they were sitting like 18 inches away from me. Very unpleasant experience. read more

My daughter and I came to Belle Nails and when I walked in and I told him that there was myself and another person, the guy said that was fine check in. So after we set down they told us that they wouldn't be able to do the full set. After telling us go ahead and check in. They treated us so badly. I brought my daughter here for her Birthday! Best nail-salon EVER! It is easy to make appointments and I just love Emily! She is always my go-to nail person and does an amazing job.

I was not impressed with this place at all. Prices were higher than others and the pedicure was not professional at all. I felt the quality were if I'd sat down and attempted to give a friend a pedicure. The water was scalding hot along with the towels and the paraben that was used. This was my first time here. I have yet to fine a nail salon that I like until now. We walked right in and were helped right away. I had Tina and she did a fantastic job. My mother had Pham who was also wonderful. The place was very clean. There were a lot of people working so it didn't seem like anyone had to wait which was nice. I just returned home from a very rushed experience. I get it that it is the day before xmas eve, but when you make an appt you expect to at least not be a rushed client. I had a gel manicure and was in and out in 20 minutes, including taking off my old polish. And what is supposed to be an arm/hand massage was far from it. Not even lotion. I think it was some kind of hand sanitizer. Nails are rough at the top, no buffing was done, etc. Very, very disappointed! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. This was the worst pedicure of my life. Everyone who works there is incompetent. The guy who did the majority of my pedicure had no idea what he was doing, like it was his first time doing a pedicure. First the water was scalding hot and I couldn't even put my feet in. Then once he started filing my nails, he barely filed some of them and filed others way too much to the point where I felt a shooting pain under my nail. I tried to tell him my big toe nail was lopsided and he didn't understand me and kept filing to make it more uneven. Then he brought out a plastic bag full of scalding hot melted wax and tried to put it on my foot!! I flinched in pain and felt my flesh burning and said "ow" and told him it was too hot. He looked over at his manager who was doing another girl's pedicure and they both just laughed at me. I made eye contact with the manager and he asked "oh is it too hot?" so condescendingly. Then he came over and proceeded to run my foot under cold water to soothe it and tried to add cold water to the bag which made the wax harden a bit and just started rubbing partially hardened wax on my foot. At this point I'd had enough and just told them to stop. So now my feet are in worse shape than they were when I came in. Then a different woman took over and finished painting my nails. First of all, she had a huge plantar wart on her thumb and wasn't wearing gloves. The she was trying to upsell me and asked if I was getting the same color on my fingernails and I told her I wasn't getting my nails done. She just kept going and kept pushing me and said they could do it in 30 minutes and when I said no again she was like "ok well you come back tomorrow then" and wouldn't let it go. Meanwhile she was painting my nails and didn't even let the first coat dry before putting on another coat so the paint was super uneven and blotchy. Then once she "finishes" she was like, "So do you want to sit here to dry or go home?" And I asked if I could sit under the light drying station, confused. And she acted dumb and was like "oh ok sure." Like????? Then I sat there for a good 10-15 minutes and walked out with my feet still in the flip flops they give you and get all the way home and thought surely my nails would be dry by then but when I touched it, they were still completely wet and now ruined. So I ended up just taking all the polish off and re-filing my nails to make them even. Just a complete waste of $45 and 1.5 hours of my life. Not to mention I was traumatized afterward. Also the same woman did my sister's acrylic nails while I was getting the pedicure and they turned out like sh*t as well. Everyone was completely unprofessional and had no idea what they were doing. I don't understand how this place got some decent reviews. I have gone to many nail salons before and have never experienced any of this. read more

I would never step foot in this place again. There were 3 of us. Placed in pedicure chairs. One person soaking in acetone, for her fingers. After an hour one person had a pedicure, one was a quick clip & paint. With a random color because they were out of the color she had chose. I had nothing. At this point I wanted to leave. As we were trying to pay & leave we are told credit card #1 was no good. We know our card is good. We try another persons card, no good. But let him just take a picture of the card. ‍‍ Uh no! You will not take a picture of our credit card. Don't we have cash? No we do not. I told them as bad as our experience was they shouldn't charge at all. He'll call the mgr. At that point we notice a bank right in their parking lot. You would think they might have noticed it there at some point. My daughter walked over to get cash. I got in my car to pick her up & bring her back. This man runs out to I guess take a picture of my license plate. On my Mercedes Benz. Like I'm going to walk on $64 worth of terrible work. I rolled down my window & told him what I was doing. We got cash & dropped it off. I would never have a pedicure or manicure again if they were the only place left on earth. Avoid, avoid, avoid!! They didn't have enough people to do mani/pedis on the three of us who went but instead of telling us that and suggesting a time to come back they put us in pedicure chairs where we were trapped waiting. After an hour two of us had only made it through quickly done mediocre pedicure jobs. The same employee did them both but her methods were different for each. We decided to leave at this point. I try to pay and they say my card is declined, which I know it shouldn't be. So another of us try. Still doesn't work at which point they want to take a photo of the card to run later and claim there's an issue all over the country. Not this country if you ask me though as we had all used our cards other places today. One of us had to walk over and get cash to pay them since they offered no help with a solution and just wanted to get out of there and never return! We went to the car to pick her up at the bank and were chased out like criminals by a man with a camera like we wanted to run out on paying for their poorly done services. Instead of saying that couldn't take us (three) for pedicure/manicures, they got us in to where we were trapped at the pedicure bowls with no one working on us. After an hour of being there, only 1.5 pedicures had been completed and one of us had our fingernails/fingers soaking in a bowl of acetone for an hour. At that point once 2/3 of the pedicures were done we decided to leave. We went up to ask to pay for the pedicures and the man ran one of our cards, said it didn't work, ran it again, still didn't work, acted like it was our fault, tried another of our cards, it didn't work either so he finally realizes it's their machine not working, tells us the machines are down all over the country (what??), asks if we have cash (which we didn't) so his solution is that he goes to take a picture of one of the credit cards. No thank you. Finally one of us had to walk to a bank to get cash while he was outside trying to take a picture of our license plate like we were trying to run off or something. We then went to a different salon and had no issues with credit cards. Truly terrible experience, and worst I've been to. If you are short staffed you need to tell people to come back later, not trap them into waiting without any warning. read more
