Not the quality I expected I was originally going to California Nails around the corner, but changed last minute because I saw this place had better reviews. I wish I stayed at California Nails because I got worse service here. -The whole experience was very rushed. -I asked for a regular manicure when I came in, and they gave me gel instead. I didn't realize until they charged me $42 + tip for gel at the end. -The lady helping me was short with me, and let out a big sigh when I asked to change my color. -At any other nail salon I've been to, they lotion and massage your hands included with any manicure you get. This wasn't given at this location. The good things I will say, is that the place is nicely decorated and spacious, and the manicure itself was clean. But, this unfortunately doesn't exempt the fact that the service I received was poor, so I won't be going back here. I called and asked for an appointment yesterday morning and was able to get an 11 AM appointment when I got there at 10:45 they were able to take me right away. I was looking for a navy color with sparkles. Not sure why it's so hard to find the perfect navy sparkle color. I did like that I was in and out in an hour- there was 1 girl working on my feet, and another working on my hands. Several of the girls were having a long/loud conversation- so it was not very relaxing. I left at noon- I asked how long til my toes would be dry. She said she would help me get my Sandals on and I could leave, that in 1 hour they would be totally dry. This turns out not to be the case. Today, after I took my nylons off, I now have creases in my toe polish/ this is 24 hours later. The polish bottle was almost empty, so either old or something had been added to it. My gel nails have bubbles and my toes are a streaky mess. I wanted to like this place, since it's a convenient location to my gym, but I feel I need to continue my search for a happy mani/pedi experience. Plenty of parking. They do have a cash special- free pedicure after 12 purchases over $25. Also yelp has a $2 off a $30 service. read more

Enjoyed our time there. I took my bf there for a early Valentine's Day. He got the regular mani/ pedi. I got the mani- gel and regular pedi. They were really friendly and nice! The only thing I didn't really necessarily enjoy is that the massage was very light and quick. Also, my nails were cut and filed slightly crooked/ at a slant. I didn't notice it until we left. I tried this place out due to the high ratings and conviently located near my work. I really needed to get my nails done and had time during my work day. I loved reading all the reviews and I wish I had rave reviews to add. I don't have negative reviews either. My nails were done by Jenny. She was very gentle and did a great job removing my existing gel. She was careful not to pick at them too hard and also let it soak a little longer to remove the gel. I like that. She wasn't in a rush or being to rough. So I gave this place a 3 because I didn't notice anything too spectacular. My nails came out nice, but it was just yesterday so I might have to update if I find chips or they start to peel. Jenny was nice and polite. She was gentle and patient when I picked out my nail color. I will try and come back for a pedi and update my review on that as well. Walked in on a Tuesday morning for a gel mani/pedi and got seated right away! They did both at the same time & did a great job. The salon is very modern looking and felt super clean. The technician that did my pedicure wore gloves the whole time. Everyone was super nice, and the gel removal was gentle. I asked for flowers on clear nails for a few of them - the technician suggested doing different flowers and I just let her do whatever she thought always best, and this is how it came out! They're pretty good overall, I just wish the hot pink was a softer color (personal preference). I'll definitely be back again! read more

I bring in a picture of what I want and they find the color for me, and do a fantastic job with shape and detail. I went to Belle for the first time with two of my friends and the overall experience was positive. The lady who did my nails was quick and friendly. I got a full set acrylic with coffin shape and they look great! There is one nail that is slightly off in the shape but its not super noticeable. And the overall final look is so pretty! One friend got a full set with gel and pedicure and another friend got a gel manicure. Their nails also looked great! This place is clean, cute and comfortable. I appreciated the nice customer service as well. The pricing is also fair in my opinion, especially because their work is good. I will be back at Belle Nails! ***** LACKING 2 STARS BECAUSE ****** When did they start charging extra for the massage after the pedi?! She asked me if I wanted the massage because it's $6 extra (for hands and legs). I know that doesn't seem like that much, but I've been to many nail salons and it was always included. I thought that I would get a standard massage when declining the $6 massage, but I literally did not even get lotion on my feet or legs! This is usually the main reason I go, but for the cleanliness and the way they treated me and my daughter is the reason for the stars. It's very welcoming once you get there. I took my daughter and the lady engaged in conversation and also gave her a flower as a treat! (My daughter is 5) Also, she got rid of my ingrown which was good! But I just can't give more stars because that massage is everything for me! The red nails were done in December, and the pink were done about a week and a half ago (around Valentine's Day) The pink nails were a bit to long for me and so I went to a random salon real quick to have them shortened, so the length and shape were NOT done by belles nails and spa. Sometimes the nail shape can be "to coffin" lol if you understand what I mean but Belles nails and spa do a nice work definitely. They were both very friendly and aided in my positive impression of this facility. It was my first time here but it won't be my last. EDIT (One Year Later) I've been a regular since I first visited here. Since then my experiences have been both negative and positive. If you don't make an appointment (even during the weekdays) don't count on being tended to as a walk-in. I've made appointments and have had to sit in the waiting area 30-45 mins PASSED my scheduled time. They get busy at the most random times of the day, so I would not recommend this place for someone looking to walk-in last minute. I know I'm not the only one who gets frustrated with their overbooking tendencies. I've seen and heard a few other people who have had the same problem as I often have with this place. This place is officially my new go-to. I've only been here a little more than a handful of times and the person at the front already remembers my name! I had maybe two not-so-pleasant experiences but that was only because of the people who took care of me. Def love it here and would recommend to people in the surrounding areas. Unfortunately, I stopped doing acrylic since I've been trying to grow out my natural nails so I haven't gotten acrylics done here but that seems to be what everyone raves about. But if you're looking for a great mani/pedi, this is the spot. The majority of the ladies who work here have great customer service and attention to detail. They do have a great selection of colors but I personally think the quality of their polish is okay. Some of the colors need 3-4 coats because of how light/transparent the shade is which I'm not a fan of because it makes your nail bed look thicker. I'd give it a 5 star for quality and customer service (depending on the lady you get). 3 stars for the potential negative experience and inconsistency. But overall, Belle Nails is a pretty darn good pick if you're heading into the East Bay and need to get your nails done! read more

This is still the cleanest nail salon in the area for a reasonable price. However, their timeliness and customer service has declined over the past 2 years. They barely let your feet soak in the water and do not add anything to the water during the service. The water is just basically there for rinsing. My water temperature was warm, however my friend's water was not. Apparently massage is no longer included in the standard package anymore because they asked if we wanted massages and then asked if we got massages when at the front to pay. My friend asked for a harder pressure on the massage, but the nail technician replied back in an in appropriate tone. My friend ended up relaying this to the manager during the service. They did not offer extra services, such as a scrub or paraffin treatment because they were rushing us. I would have paid for those extra things. We were overall rushed through our services. Our nails look great, however I also get my nails done to have an overall enjoyable and relaxing experience. They no longer stamp your card unless you pay cash. I paid $55 for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. read more

I have a very "inconsistent" schedule and they have accommodated me EVERY time. I have now referred a couple of friends to this place that work in the area. I do have one Con: For those that have allergies, I sometimes have discomfort breathing because of the artificial nail services. But I am accustomed to locating shops that only do natural nails. Came in on a weekday and there wasn't many people in there, should have been my first clue. I needed my nails done for a wedding along with a pedi. I originally asked for a regular manicure and a deluxe pedicure. There was no price list nor was any type of brochure or menu given to check prices or what comes included with the service, huge red flag. The service was okay. Middle of the day so I was able to get both services done at the same time. After sitting my feet in too cold water (not exaggerating, it wasn't even lukewarm) I was offered what looked to be dollar store "deluxe" products in three different scents. I picked cherry blossom and it smelled fine but it literally did nothing for the feet. I asked for warmer water and that was no problem, it just seemed the gal doing my toes was aloof. The one doing my nails didn't do a great job. Massages were both fine, but after looking at my nails, a lot of cuticle was left, the nail polish was sticky, and overall they just weren't that impressive. Whole thing maybe took 45 minutes including dry time. I won't be going back and I don't recommend this place. Looking around, everything was pretty beat up and their cleanliness is lacking. The cherry on top is that a deluxe pedicure is 50 dollars which isn't outrageous but they have no business charging that as the service I got did not reflect a deluxe anything. And to top that off, they charged me for a deluxe mani pedi package which was 60.00 and I did not get a deluxe manicure. The whole thing seemed fishy and they like to make their prices up on the spot, hence not having a price list. Do not go here, there's a bunch of better places in the area. read more
