I would leave a no star review if I could! Used this place most of my 45 years of driving have bought many many sets of tires and several front end alignments. Took my jeep in for an alignment I installed a complete front end I watched the mechanic strip a nut on my idler arm, he fumbled around in a drawer looking for a replacement with no luck, he looked at me and looks like you need a new idler arm thinking to myself Bell tire broke it they will pay to fix it? Well not the case the manager which is very inconsiderate showed a bill for 350.00? I said I don't think so, they made me buy another new part and ate the labor 175.00 for 100.00 part! The people at Belle Tire on Center Rd. are fantastic with their service. I took my '05 Taurus in for a leak check. I didn't want to go anywhere else and get the wrong fix. The mechanics took me to my car and did a pressure check and by doing so the leak showed up in my timing gasket. It's nice to get the right price on the correct problem the first time. read more

Hi everyone just wanted to share that this business location is very accommodating! I wouldn't go anywhere else for tire replacement etc... they know what they are doing and I felt they were honest and didn't just try to get my business! I came in there with a 96 Honda Civic needing tires and set my appointment up.. picked out my tires for the vehicle and when we got there they were honest and said sorry those aren't the right tires. So the gentleman looked around and found us what we needed. I was very pleased he was honest. A few days later we got the right tires for a decent price, then we schedule the front end alignment and they couldn't do it and gave many recommendations where to go. We finally found a place off their recommendations and after a few weeks we are all set now. Car is running smooth and the tires have made a difference! read more

I will drive to the one in Sterling Heights from now on, they are honest and fair. I now have to bring my vehicle back up for the third time. Did over a thousand dollars of work, alignment, only for my car to be veering so far to the left it was unsafe. Brought it back up, charged more money for a camber, how do they not test drive after doing that many repairs to notice it the first time? After the second time, I had a mechanic hoist it up and look it over and they charged me to replace a right front sway bar link, only to find out they didn't do it, so now I have to go there AGAIN to have them perform the work they should have the FIRST TIME I brought it up there! I will be going to Al's Muffler Man from now on for all my mechanical needs. This has been a ridiculous experience and a complete waste of time and money. read more

I always try to be fair. I've slammed the Belle Tire in GB for their rude employees and crap customer service several times but I am also happy to give praise when I get good service. After repeated issues with the GB store I called corporate and was able to speak with mark who did the best thing I could have asked which is LISTEN to my frustrations. Then he explained in a little more detail why it was hard to get in to have a repair done at times. He went out of his way to talk with the Center Rd store, create a work order and have it all set to where I just had to drop my car off WHICH IS ALL I WANTED ALL ALONG!! We hung up on a positive note. The next day when I went in to drop my car off, unlike the GB store there was no frantic feeling, no chaos and everyone was extremely nice. One employee, who must have transferred over from GB, remembered my car and ask about an issue I had had with my tire pressure indicator. That was a nice thing that he remembered and ask after it. I got my ride home and they called me within the hour which was much faster than I had expected so it was a pleasant surprise. They fixed 3 issues on 2 of my tires and it was all covered since I purchased my tires there so i owed nothing. Another positive!! More than anything though is just the whole feel and attitude of the store which is such a polar opposite from the GB location. Not once did I feel that they were annoyed or being rude or condescending. Yes I know corporate called in my order so I was prob labeled a "difficult" customer but even if that was the case they still came across as genuinely nice and happy to help. So kudos to them!! I know now that this is the store to handle any of my tire needs since they know about customer service! Maybe they could train the GB store and teach them a thing or two! My recommendation is if you need tires or repairs I strongly suggest this Belle Tire locates on Center rd. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Thanks for a great experience guys! read more

I was able to set up my appointment on line. Very handy! I have used Bell Tire service many times, and have been well satisfied with the products, quotes, and over all service I recieved. It has always cost exactly as much as my quote. Great right! No surprises! If you need tores, or other services they provide give them a chance, and check them against the competition! This is the most dishonest business I have ever encountered. After installing an inner and outer tie rod myself, I took my car here to have the front end aligned. They called and told me I needed new tie rods and the cost was over $750. I declined service. When I picked up my vehicle, there was a quote attached to the work order for ball joints. I just left. I took it to another place and they aligned the front end and said everything was good. As an automotive engineer and someone who enjoys working on his cars, I knew the condition of my vehicle. I can only imagine how many have been scammed by this place! Stay away! read more

I had my car towed to the Belle Tire on Center rd Burton, MI after sustaining two flat tires. I had all 4 tires replaced and was told 2 of the wheels were bent so I got them replaced as well. I then got a call saying that I needed my struts and shocks replaced AND new brakes. The brakes I agreed to have replaced, but the struts and shocks were another story. My car has 150,000 miles on it and the Belle employee told me I was driving on the orginal struts and shocks and I pointed out to him that was bullshit. I told said employee that the struts/shocks had been replaced 50,000 miles ago by them! The Belle guy then admitted that they didn't really need to be replaced and weren't going to "blow up" on me. That same day I get another call saying that all 4 tire sensors would need to be replaced. When I dropped off the car 1 of the sensors didn't work, now all of a sudden all four needed to be replaced. I told the guy to not replace them. When I picked up my car the tires were low (27 psi). Annoying that they couldn't even be bothered to put enough air in the tires but no big deal. I then get home and upon going over the 6ft long receipt I realize that I was charged $123 for the tire protection plan! The tire protection plan is a total waste of money. The offer had never come up during any of the 4 or 5 phone calls in which I talked to at least 3 different people. I called the store and explained the situation and was told that the protection plan is AUTOMATICALLY applied to your tires. A simple mistake was made I guess. Then the manager (Anthony) apologized and told me that I would be reimbursed. The only reason I went to Belle Tire is because It was close and I have a Good Year account that I could charge the repairs to and pay back over 12 months zero interest. WARNING!! Don't waste your time here! All I needed was an alignment and they said "we can't do it until you have (list of 10) different things replaced. JUST BE HONEST! As a mechanic I know none of that needs to be replaced to have an alignment done. If you think it was a waste of your time because all you will get is $90 for the alignment, JUST SAY THAT! Don't lie to customers and list things they need before an alignment just to sell extra parts at a ridiculous rate. Come on! Good service over the phone, was able to threeway talk to my insurance provider as well as bell tire within an hour of the initial contact. They replaced my windshield and found the slow leak in my tire I was suspicious of. However, when I went to pick my car up there was a patron blocking the entrance... and then called me pathetic because I was looking at my phone. He first asked "What would you do if someone took that away from you??" Then said "Hahaha your pathetic" and began talking about me to everyone in the room... pretty weird and embarrassing. I brought it to an employees attention and they didn't do anything about it, when I went to get in my car he ran after me and shouted at me as I was driving away... makes me question this location. This Belle Tire in particular always has top notch service. Though he most likely doesn't recall Ryan has helped me out throughout the years swapping tires for me on my truck to my winter tires, just doing a great job and always saying think of me when you need new tires. When I bought a car and needed new tires I naturally went and of course the customer experience I received from Ryan was nothing new. Would not go anywhere else. Burton once lied about patching holes in my tire, they botched one of the repairs on my boyfriend's car AND I waited 3 and a half hours last week and they didn't even give me a damned estimate. Came to this location for oil change, tire rotation and balancing before heading to Toronto, Canada. While oil change was satisfactory, tire balancing left lots to be desired. After their work, our front tires vibrate at 65-70MPH and continue to do so for more than 500miles. How can one screw up balancing with standard tire size like this? Fed up with the vibration, we brought it to another rims & tires shop for double checking. Not at all surprise that the tech shop informed us that most tires were off by 0.5oz. Oh, if you want different PSI than mfg sticker (for extra load carrying capacity), tell them before they start else they don't want to do it and will tell you the tires will get to desired PSI when it gets hot! Yeah, really smart! Without going through song-and-dance about machine calibration, workmanship, or sloppiness, we have better thing to do... Like enjoy vibration free driving for the next 6K miles! read more

Took my car in to have it inspected due to extremely loud squeak when turning. I was told my tie rods were bad and possibly my wheel bearings were bad. Spent $283 on the tie rods and the issue was not fixed. Took my car to a real mechanic and it was just my strut. The car is now fixed. Belle Tire is not even a good place to get a free diagnosis. Obviously they don't know the difference between a bad tie rod and a bad strut. Never again! read more

Tires are weather cracked and worn out already after only two years. Had alignment done when tires installed. Old tires are same brand, got 100k on them. Everytime I question them about it they start blaming other things on truck. I am certified technician so this does not set well with me and I will no longer advise my customers to go to them. read more

Took my Fiance's car in to have an Alignment done after a little too close encounter with a guardrail. (I figured there may be something wrong, but didn't expect much.) They did get the car in Very quickly, that is where the positives end. The Guy ran the Alignment tester machine and told me, "Its way bad." "Undrivable" he also said. (i drove it there, and away, and to Detroit with no ill effects). He started Telling me all these parts that were bad and that they needed repaired immediately. They then started quoting me repairs, tie rods, struts, steering knuckle, wheel bearing, and rear trailing Axle (which, BTW, doesn't even exist on this car!) all without ever removing a lugnut! The total was approaching $1200, and that didn't even include the Rim that was evidently damaged! Defenitly time for a second opinion. Struts were bad (150K miles on the car, probably due anyway)and the reason for such bad alignment turned out to be a bent rim... one would think a tire shop would catch that! read more
