Went back on Monday after work. They found the issue, apologized, and corrected the issue. They provided a refund. I appreciate the customer service. ------------------------- I am hoping to amend this review, if resolved. I had 2 new tires put on and alignment completed at a cost of just under $500. I left and noticed the tire pressure light was on and the tire pressure was low. I drove back and was told it was normal and would be fine in 20 minutes and basically ignore it, if nothing changes to try to come back within the hour. I live 20 minutes away, I would not make it back and suggested I would come on Monday if the light didn't come off. I got home and my tire was below 20. It's now at 3. and I had to call roadside assistance to put my spare on. I wasn't told I would need to be aware of the light being on, which triggered me to return, that is one issue, however when I went back and notified them, they should have at least checked to make sure everything was ok instead of telling me to drive it around for 20 mins. In this case, causing the problem to get worse. It is Saturday and they are not open tomorrow, the soonest I can possibly have a resolution is Monday. read more

I had a terrible experience with Belle Tire regarding an ongoing issue with uneven wear on my front tires. When I first brought my truck in, I explained that the tires were wearing unevenly, and Belle Tire told me the alignment was out of spec. They performed an alignment and replaced my tires, assuring me the issue was addressed. However, just 10 months later, I returned with the exact same problem--both front tires were worn bald and needed to be replaced again. This time, they claimed the alignment was only out of spec on one side, even though the uneven wear was happening on both sides, and they were unable to properly diagnose the cause. After speaking with the manager, I still could not get a clear explanation as to why this kept happening, and I was not satisfied with being told that another alignment would fix it. Belle Tire still performed another alignment, stating it would fix the issue. A week later, I took my truck to another shop, and they told me the vehicle was completely out of alignment. Based on this experience, I have learned that Belle Tire does not know how to properly perform an alignment or thoroughly diagnose vehicle issues. It costed me $700 for Belle Tire to perform this work and now I am repeating this payment again 10 months later. read more

Not gonna say it's the worst service, but I will say it is a tiny bit shady. I got some tires done on my 23 Grand Cherokee and I would give them 5 stars for that, but if you are looking for an alignment, I'd probably search elsewhere. 1st reason being my steering wheel is still a bit off and isn't straight and second, I got my vehicle back with a check engine light on and the manager said it had to do something with a transmission sensor. Called up my dad to see what he would do and he did mention it was shady like I said to have a check engine light on referring to a transmission sensor for an alignment and then was told I should take it to a dealership to get it checked out. Great service person to person, but work wise on vehicles, I would recommend a more reputable place like a dealership if you are lookin for more than tires. read more

Horrible customer service, the worst professionalism I have ever seen from a business (including their corporate office)- Terrible service and an all around joke- So 3 weeks and 2 days ago I purchased (and paid for) rims and tires. They were scheduled to be installed the following Wednesday - I dropped my car off Tuesday night (I work and commute long distance and cannot make it during their business hours) and was called Wednesday morning to be told... " we are sorry, the supplier forgot to put your order on the truck" I was told that they could get my car in next Wednesday (3 days ago), would have what I purchased and for my trouble they offered to replace bad tire pressure sensors... I didnt really care about the sensors but was happy to have them replaced and was fine with waiting- I have a company vehicle I use for work so being without my car for another week wasnt a huge deal. On Tuesday of last week I again dropped my car off- Wednesday I called at 5 pm (they never called me) and was told "sorry Sir, your wheels were discontinued and the supplier never told us- But if you can leave your car here one more day we can get it done) -Yesterday... Guess what- No call again and at 5 pm I called only to be told the supplier forgot my rims on the truck... I'm not kidding... And it would be another day. I was mad- I've been VERY patient with this clustebomb of a company but my patience ended yesterday...After being told 3 things (none true) already paying for my wheels and tires and arranging for rides to drop off and pick up my car- I've had enough. I told them to cancel my order and refund me and was offered a free oil change for my trouble- I left a message with corporate., Was called back by a supposed customer service agent telling me my order has been cancelled and asking where I wanted my keys. Paid for rims- Dropped my car up and picked it up 3 times (arranging for rides after work)because Belle tire lies... Most unprofessional outfit ive ever dealt with....Never again. Horrible customer service. Made appointment to drop my vehicle off 2 weeks ahead of time. This is a company vehicle, Ben was not helpful almost complaining because he would have to call and get approval. Provided him with all the necessary information so he could do it ahead of the appointment. Even called in myself so the fleet company would know to make the process easier for him. Dropped the car off on the day of the appointment first thing in the morning. Again felt with Ben. Seemed as if he didn't put it in as an appointment. Had to search and then was like here it is. 6 hours later, I call because I haven't heard anything. They said it would be 2-3 hours still. I arrived at the time it was supposed to be done and they weee just pulling it in. Guy here now said that there wasn't an appointment in the system. Ben completely lied because he didn't want to do a fleet vehicle. Horrible customer service. I will not bring another vehicle here. Company or personal. read more

Worst customer experience I have received. I took my car in for new tires. When I received my car back my tire lights were on. I asked them to take it back and look to see why. Instead of doing that they just checked that the sensors with their little gadget. They told me my sensors were low. Didn't take my car back in and told me how much it would be to replace all my sensors. This was two employees who just blew me off instead of acknowledging the situation and helping. Well, I can't afford new sensors so I go without. Fast forward. I take it to a new mechanic shop to have them fix the tire sensors. Turns out Belle Tire broke my sensors. I spoke with Jeremy who informed me that they will not reimburse me for having to get new sensors because they could virtually do it for free. Problem is my car is already at the shop and he didn't even offer to help pay for the diagnosis which I had to get because his people wouldn't do it. Absolute worst customer service. He tried to make me feel better by stating that that employee no longer works there. What about the other guy that came out too? Is he still working there? Absolutely do not recommend based on them blowing me off the first time and making me have to get a diagnosis elsewhere because they wouldn't look at it when I told them something was wrong. read more

I'm a 60 year old woman I went in to get a new Battery for my Chevy pick up , I told them I wanted it installed and the man at the counter told me in would be 70$ to install because it would take a hour to install !!! He said it twice. I knew that was not right and I insisted that it was just bolted down and there was no way it would take an hour, At that point he change the price from 70 $to 30$ For installation. At that point I had a bad feeling that he was taking a vantage of me because of my lack of knowledge of automobiles. I watch them put in the battery and timed it on my stopwatch and saw that it took less than 20 minutes to install. Needless to say I don't think I'll be going back there anymore read more

On our way to an appointment 3 hours from home, we got a flat. The tires were recently purchased from Belle Tire in Battle Creek and I had a HORRiBLE experience there (they apparently made the assumption because I'm a girl that I wouldn't know anything about cars and tried to swindle me out of $1000 for ball joints and others that didn't need replacing. Asked them to show me and they were shaking my entire truck trying to show me the "play" in it when there was none). So didnt have a good feeling about them at all but since tires were purchased there that is who I went to. Tires were punctured by a sharp rock! Was stressed out and it was starting to snow and there was a minimum 2 hour wait to get it fixed. At this point I had had it with BT and let the reps at counter know! I probably wasn't the nicest about it. Instead of defending the other location like I had expected them to , or at the very least not take ownership of that incident but what I got was the exact opposite. The two gentlemen at the counter listened to what I had to say and apologized for that experience. THAT made all the difference...a simple acknowledgement that it shouldn't have happened and an apology! Then they got my truck in and fixed and I was back on the road in 45 minutes free of charge (I was expecting to pay $25 by my brief lookup on Google prior to going there). I did ask for what appeared to be maybe one of the guys names but now I can't remeber!....maybe Anthony? Both were great and appeared to be possibly managers or at least acted the part. I think now if only all Belle Tire could behave this way that it would go a long way to repairing the publics perception of them....starting with the Battle Creek location who desperately need help (see above and important to mention there were SIX different guys in on that lie). read more

I went to this Bell Tire to have two rims and four tires replaced. The work was completed in the stated time. I was told to come in after 25 miles to ensure the new rims were seated properly. About 10 miles down I-96, I notice the car seem like it was swaying when there was a pavement change ( lines grooved into the pavement near exit 106 to exit 110). I watched it for the next 40 miles (as Bell Tire was already closed) and it did not change and was not comfortable to drive. The next day, my wife took the car in and explained the situation. Brent C., our salesperson, worked with us on getting the car to drive properly. He effectively communicated everything to my wife and me without being pushy and up-selling services. The wife said it was one of the rare times that an auto repair person did not talk down to her. I have been a Bell Tire customer since 1997 and have always had great service from them. I have always recommended them to my employees who use their personal vehicles for work. Keep up the great job! read more

I could not ask for a better experience! I brought my 2008 Subaru Forester to Belle Tire, to take advantage of my complimentary free tire rotation and get a 2nd opinion on the $2,600 worth of head gasket & differential work the local dealer said I needed. The result: My tires were rotated free, The Belle Tire mechanic tested for oil leaks and showed me it was my filter, NOT my head gasket that was leaking. The differential work was performed for $75 less than the estimate & I saved a total of $2,200 ! On top of the great value, the entire team was courteous, knowledgeable, professional and got the job done on time and with great communication. read more

So it was my 1st time getting my tires rotated with my 2017 Kia Forte & 1st time visiting this company on this side of town. One good advantage it was free but, the Customer Service was terrible. It didn't take very long for the tire rotation. But, I saw my Car sitting in the parking lot. I went up to the guy working behind the counter. I asked if my Car was done. He said not yet in 15 minutes. I said why? I need to take a break. I said no I am not going to wait until you are done with your break. I asked for my receipt for my records. He said I can email to you. I said no & why would I give you my email with a room full if people. Wow can't believe the way I was treated being my 1st time there on side of town. I am not even sure if my tires are up to 35 lbs & they didn't even check the tread on my tires. Terrible Customer Service! read more

I had a problem with a bad valve core on my RV. Derek spent perhaps two hours working with me and helping me find a store that supplied a valve extender hose that fit. He replaced the bad extender, replaced bad vale core and sent me on my way. He would not accept payment nor even a gratuity. I have a friend in town who buys his tires there and gets great service. Continued great service at this location. I have been losing air in my two front tires over the winter. I finally brought it in to get checked out. I was completely expecting to need two new tires, as they are a bit worn. I received a call in the afternoon proclaiming that I was all set. I asked what that meant and they replied that there was a problem with the weights, they replaced and cleaned the area and it would be no charge. I'm glad I had them do an oil change too, because I would have felt bad for them doing all thy work for nothing. These guys, and place on south side of Lansing are great. I would have love to give these guys a positive review. Discount tire told me i should get my alignment checked and Belle tire quoted me $89.99 and told me it could be done in about an hour so I headed down the road. They got me into the bay after about an hour. After about 20 minutes of the car being in the bay I walked over only to find the sales person writing up an estimate, not just for the alignment but for a tie rod end, wheel bearing and anti-lock brake sensor (for the left side only). All together the bill was just shy of $900 when I had been expecting $90. I got my keys and left and on the way home there was a clunking and a hard lateral jerk that had not been there before. My mechanic friend is now fixing the improperly tightened tie rod end as well as the ball joint and wheel bearing for both sides for about half that price. Needless to say I will never be coming here again. read more

I had ordered tires for my vehicle over Labor Day during their sale to have them put on when it fit my schedule. Three weeks later I call to schedule my appointment to have them mounted and balanced. I informed them that any date or time would be convenient so they penciled me in for the next day at noon. I drove 40-45 minutes to the Lansing location. They pulled my vehicle into the bay and there I sat for 47 minutes. The sales employee then came out only to tell me that the tires that I ordered are not in stock. He apologized, said he would order more and have them tomorrow and rescheduled me for 11. I then had a 40-45 minute drive back home. I show up 10 minutes early the following day for my appointment. They pulled my vehicle in right away. Good sign but I was incorrect. There I sat watching numerous vehicles go in and out of different bays. After 2 hours and 13 minutes my vehicle was finally done. I am typically not one to complain but this had killed most of my day so I decided to call customer service. Mark was a pleasant man and did his job. Took notes and forwarded the email to the manager at the Lansing store. I had a phone call from the manager, Robert, within 20 minutes who apologized for the matter. He informed me that he talked to the staff and appreciates the feedback even though it was negative. I do not know what I was expecting but the generic apology just didn't cut it so now I'm here. I for one will not be returning to any Belle Tire locations. This was my first experience and left a very sour taste in my mouth. I would have much rather paid full price elsewhere for the tires to begin with if I knew the ordeal I was going to be going through. read more

Horrible, horrible, horrible. I went there to get new tires and tire sensors for a Dodge Ram truck. When they finished, I drove about 10 miles, and the tire sensor light turned on. I checked the air in the tires and it was fine; took it back, they said all the sensors were working and reset the TPMS sensor. Okay, fine. So I drive away, and then after about another 10 miles it turns back on. No surprise, I take it back and they tell me that I may need to have a dealer reset the computer. Great, just great. Take it to a dealer, they tell me that there is nothing they can do for these sensors. Go back to Belle Tire, they reset the sensor again, because since it clearly didn't work the first time, that must be the obvious solution. Lo and behold, after another 10 miles it still doesn't work. Getting extremely pissed at this point. Go to a different dealer, they look at it and tell me that the reason the truck computer isn't recognizing the sensors is because they are third-party sensors (not OEM) and the computer can't work with those. Call up Belle Tire, and sure enough, they FINALLY admit that not only did they install third-party sensors, but they were ALSO the wrong third-party sensors anyway!!! It took all that for them to finally admit they made a mistake. They said they can refund the sensors, but what about all my time and money spent at a dealership diagnosing the problem that they couldn't figure out in the first place??? Will never go here again, will recommend against it for my friends. You are better off driving on flats. read more
