My boyfriend and I love this Midas! Great customer service, reliable work, and, trustworthy owners!

First picture is Midas alignment, they blamed their machine but it caused over 1600$ in damage to the suspension and a tire barn alignment. I had it towed to them after new tire rods were in. I called and informed them something wasn't right and paid another tow bill to have it realigned. They did nothing. Every tire broke studs and came flying off on a highway. Then when I called and bitched them out they hung up on me. I called the owner who then called me back and tried bribing me with an oil change. I change my own oil for 1. And 2. A $15-30 oil change doesn't fix 1600$+ in suspension work! Don't go here read more

Do not make an online appointment. Do not "order tires" online. Waited in the lobby 7 hours (8am-3pm) just for them to have to reorder my tires because they "were unavailable". I could name about 10 more things that went wrong. Nice workers for sure, but horrible service read more

I am very happy with all of the work I have had done here. My Toyota Tundra has 535,000k on it and I have had several break jobs and exhaust work done at this location. The people here are always so nice and friendly. They have the best prices for car work in town that I've found and their mechanics are extremely knowledgeable. They're super involved in the community and give to charity. If you bring in diapers paper towels or toilet paper, they give it to A Better Way and then discount your oil change to just $20 for non-synthetic. Synthetic gets a discount too though. They're also one of the few places that will allow you to bring your own parts in and they even do a lot of estimates for free. They're always respectful to everyone regardless of sex or race that I have seen. I prefer them to any place in or out of Muncie. read more

I just got my oil changed. Went to pay for it and realized I had lost my debit card!! OMG..I know a lot of people say this, but it's true. I was booking a hotel for the death of my father, wasn't sure where I left it. These guys were awesome, they told me "don't worry about it, this one is on us" I came home and cried. My son, who was a student at the University in Muncie, was having problems with his 1995 Jeep Cherokee Laredo with over 287,000 miles. Believing that he had a steering problem due to an occasional "hard to steer" at times, he visited the internet and decided to take his Jeep to the local Midas shop during the afternoon of 1 May 2018. Due to class, he picked the Jeep up at 8:49 a.m. on 2 May 2018. Upon leaving Midas, my son had a $1,046.14 bill (my responsibility to pay). On 5 May 2018, my son was in his Jeep and less than one mile from his rental house, when his Jeep "stalled" on him "again" and he had "problems steering". My wife and I were still in the Muncie area after graduation exercises, so we went to the location where my son and his brothers had pushed the Jeep off the road and into someone's private driveway. When I opened the hood there was some smoking in the motor compartment, and I noticed some fluid leaking underneath the Jeep. I also noticed the temperature gauge was indicating "overheating". When I removed the radiator cap, there was no visible sign of antifreeze, so I put two 5 gal containers of antifreeze in the radiator. I explained to my son that when the Jeep is low on fluid, it will overheat the engine and start shutting down, and when this happen, he will have problems steering the vehicle for loss of power. This is when our son informed us that he had taken his Jeep to Midas and they charged him over $1000.00 to "fix" his power steering. Since Midas had closed, we drove his Jeep back to his rental house, and my son and I drove down to Muncie on Monday, 7 May 2018, drove the Jeep to Midas and discussed with the Manager how they misdiagnosed his problem, and that Midas had taken advantage of my son's inexperience and him not knowing what the actual problem was that was causing his "hard steering". The Manager was very professional and offered to inspect and fix the problem, which was a freeze plug leakage, at no cost, but informed me that I would have to talk with the owner of the shop for further considerations. I telephoned the owner and discussed how the Midas shop had misdiagnosed the problem with my son's Jeep and charged him for a service that was unnecessary, and that my son could not explain exactly what the "actual" problem was because he had no knowledge or understanding that the Jeep was overheating. The Owner was emphatic that my son did not mention the Jeep "overheating", therefore, Midas responded directly to my son's alleged concern of "hard to steer". I find this kind of "predatory" service within a college town to be unacceptable. To justify an over $1000.00 bill to a possibly less than a $120.00 fix, to a 1995 Jeep, is beyond reasonable understanding. I will not visit this business again in the future. read more
