I came in with a flat tire. They got to me quickly. Colin the front service man was so good. He listened patiently and said they would look at the car tire. He came back and said the tire beyond repair and even provided a photo. He gave exactly what I wanted and didn't push any upgrades. When he came back he asked if I had been hearing any squeaking noises. I admitted I had. He explained my bad breaks were pretty bad. I asked if they could fix it that moment as I didn't want to return. He said yes. I asked if they could be done in hour because I had groceries in the trunk. He offered to put them on their fridge! Not only did they finish in an hour they through in a free alignment. What was stellar about Colin he kept going in the shop checking on the mechanics. I even saw him roll up his sleeves and help them out. They had a full house with every bay full. The other front service guys just stayed up and even sometimes on their phones. Colin was great! today was another successful visit with my friends at Belle Tire, Portage Rd., South Bend, IN. The salesman, Anthony, has helped me on previous purchases and continues to be knowledgeable and extremely helpful. When I arrived to pick up my tires the mechanic, Zach, pulled me aside to show me an issue with my rim. He helped guide me through what the right installation would be on my vehicle based on the condition. He was very helpful and concerned about my safety. I just bought a new car (to me) and my low air tire warning came on the dashboard. I tried to add air twice on my own but I couldn't get it to fill. I went inside to ask what I was doing wrong. Instead, Mike asked me to pull my car up and he checked the air pressure that is on the door and filled my air. Then he askes "do you have a leak?" I have no idea. He checked that for me too! The man who originally checked me in wasn't the most friendly I kind of got the impression he didn't want to be there. However when I was finished the lady who checked me out was fantastic. She made up for the first person not being the best. She was knowledgeable very friendly smile the whole time and I got the impression she knew what she was talking about when she answered some questions that I had I believe her name was Melissa Nelson. we found ourselves in a bad situation with our son's Truck. Two tires blew while my son was driving to work and the other two were about ready too. We had the truck towed to Bell Tire on Portage Rd and Dave was awesome! He was in constant contact with me, worked his magic to get two wheels and 4 tires on all while the store was packed. A couple days after buying a used car, I found a screwhead in the tread of one of the tires. I took it to the friendly people at Belle Tire on Portage. They removed the screw and repaired the tire in less than an hour from my walking in the door to walking out. No charge for repairs!! Not even their tire!! How can you beat that?
