Now it hosts musical acts, podcasters, movies and more! We recently attended THE HIDDEN BRAIN's podcast live taping, hosted by WUSF 89.7FM. It was a fabulous experience. We parked down the street, and it was free. The ushers and security personnel were friendly & efficient. The seats were comfortable, it was easy to see the stage from the back of the house, & the temperature was perfect inside (blazing hot outside). The ladies room had 6 or 7 stalls, and it seemed as if all of us women were able to use the facilities and return to our seats in the time allotted for the intermission. We did not purchase food or drinks, but a wide selection of each was available in the lobby areas, and adequately staffed. Prices seemed reasonable. This theatre is affiliated with Ruth Eckerd Hall. When purchasing tickets, you can save money on fees by buying tickets at their box office instead of online or by phone.

The venue is very nice. Spacious seats. Had plenty of leg room at 5'9. I don't know that there would be a bad seat. My tickets were in the top back right but I could see and hear very well. They do sell food and drinks. Parking was free and easy. Even exiting at the end was easy with staff helping guide everyone out of the parking lot.

It is easy to purchase tickets on their website, easy to enter and easy to find your seat (if you have a seat.) If you don't have a seat, the lawn area is not too huge so you wouldn't be too far away. They have plenty of bars and booths to get other beverages. I didn't have to wait behind more than 2 people any time I got a drink. The bathrooms are inside and air-conditioned and the line moves pretty quick because the stalls in the ladies room has signs so you can see what ones are open. I do think they could still have used a few more ladies stalls because as you see everywhere, there is a line for the women but not the men. Another cool thing is they have several food trucks and even ice cream vendors. I visited the keilbasa truck before one show and it was good. The food from the other vendors looked good too. I actually had food from the chicken and waffle truck before when tbey were at my nearby library so I know their food is good too. The one downside is that it is in downtown Clearwater and parking is spread out. However, if you are willing to walk you can find free or affordable parking. I personally would rather spend my money on a drink than parking so I look for deals and am not sharing my secrets. Also, downtown Clearwater only has like 3 restaurants nearby so that's why it is important to have good food trucks at the venue. I will definitely be going to more shows here! The bartender negligently served us drinks loaded with vodka. Because of his carelessness, I tasted alcohol for the first time in over 36 years of hard-earned sobriety. The bartender apologized and promised the drinks were "on the house."Instead, they charged us $66.04. When we called management to fix it, we were only given a partial refund of $27.82, leaving an unauthorized $38.22 charge.Worse than the theft is the staggering cruelty of management. When Mike called to resolve this in January, the manager/owner on the phone literally laughed at us regarding the situation, alongside a room of his friends who joined in the mockery. To treat a severe, dangerous threat to a person's life and recovery as a joke is deeply unhinged. If you are sober, in recovery, or have a medical condition, stay far away from this venue. They do not care about your safety, and they will mock you for it.

I would recommend the pot roast and shrimp scampi as the best dinner options. You can absolutely NOT beat the top rate entertainment and shows that Colorama presents. We parked in the main lot. Walked inside an immediately notice this was a place for music. No bands were playing since it was early. Found a spot at the bar, may have been ten others sitting at the bar. There was only one bar tender working the bar and she was working it. She came and saw us right after sitting and got our drink orders. Not sure if we wanted to eat but we still looked over the menu. We decided to get some food. I noticed they do a smashburger and I am always up for a that. The wife has been watching what she eats and decided on the chicken strips. The food didn't take long to arrive and both looked very good. My burger was done right, double cheesesmash with LTO just the way I like it. I got fries with it as well and I must say these were some mighty good fries. My wife really liked her chicken strips too. They were not battered and not overly fried, still very moist on the inside. She has been trying to stay away from overly fried foods and these were not overly done. I believe she ate them all as well. Since it was early there were no seating issues like I have read from others. And if your a car person they do a last Sunday of the month breakfast buffet and car show in the morning.
