    Croissants. Wow!

I was in the area so I decided to check out one of my old haunts for a bagel. I used to frequent this place when I worked out this way. The bagels here are coming straight out the oven. That's a plus for me. Only thing is sometimes you have to wait. Service was great just like I remember. I was bummed to find out when I got home home one of the bagels had a hair growing out of it. Bagel went straight to the trash. Hairnets would probably solve this problem. Be aware next time you pick up some bagels here. Aside from that the other bagels were good. If in the area in the future it makes me double think about coming here.

10/17/24 Craving bagels!!!! Yelp states it's open until 7 pm, NOPE! I was super hangry & craving bagel (so was Hubby), what's a girl to do? I peeked inside the closed doors and I saw Carol and I motioned to her. "Are you guys closed?" And she says, "Do you want bagel? Come to the window"-- the drive thru window She tells me they don't have much, so I ordered an onion & cheese bagel with a side of cream cheese. SCORE!! I've known Carol for the many years I've been coming to get bagels at this place. She mentions that she has not seen me in a great while because I used to do my walks around the neighborhood & pick up freshly baked jalapeño & cheese bagels. I wish Montclair has this type of shop, I miss it so much. Wonderfully chewy & fresh, craving satisfied--LOVE these bagels! I told her Yelp states they close at 7 pm & she says: **Monday to Saturday 5:30 am to 4 pm **Sundays 7 am to 2 pm

I always drove by here And I never EVER stop Either because I'm busy or they are closed Today I said I'm stopping in but they hardly had any donuts. I was cravings maple or chocolate but opted for the back donuts right over there ln (in the photos) So here is what I have to Say Soft,Fresh and Great flavor I'll be back

This lady right here was very rude from the moment I walked in. She said what do you want ? I was explaining to her and it was like she was getting impatient with me. She KEPT SAYING WHAT DO YOU WANT!! I was so close to walking out and now I regret not walking out. Excuse me but if that's how you talk to people i definitely wont be bringing my money back here. Also the lady who was working with her was very rude to other customers! I won't be coming back. LEARN HOW TO HAVE BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Friendly and fast service with a smile . Shoutout to George , one of the regulars I met while waiting for my bagel . He had the owner and the baker's names tattooed on each of his arms with a Little bagel emblem . Lol ! I would definitely say it's a basic bagel shop and nothing special ... however the prices are very reasonable and service is quick . They also have a little drive through window and some outdoor seating options . Make sure to bring cash or hit the 5 dollar minimum for cards . There is ample parking options as well .

Love their wide open dining space, kids area and even dance floor. Restrooms require a code, but you can get them from any of the restaurants/long-standing vendors. Food variety is perfect with awesome eats at Tacos Arandas (veggie friendly), Barrio (our friend Sid's favorite), Un Rinconcito Argentino (an instant hit with my Argentinian), Pana's Cafe, Panda Sal's, ChocoFaberries, Off Duty Beer + Wine and others. They even have a full arcade and ample parking in back. Service is top tier. Even the employees who help keep SteelCraft thriving are personable. Family friendly, friend group friendly, pet friendly and very welcoming of everyone. Definitely making Downtown Bellflower even more of a hub. Free Wifi. Free Parking, including street parking with no restrictions after 6pm. Live Music on certain days as well as events. Open at 7am daily at the corner of Bellflower Blvd/Oak Street. Closing hours vary, though go until 11pm Friday - Saturday, and until 9 or 10 pm on other nights. It's nice that parking is accessible in the front on Bellflower Blvd. and in the back parking lots. There are areas where you can sit on stools or on picnic benches. Also several corners where there's shaded trees and a swing bench. It's nice to have the eating area in the middle of the courtyard, but I really don't like the dirt area. But I get that it's probably easier for spills to be soaked up so people don't slip and it's less maintenance. If you're a fur-parent don't worry, there's even a couple bowls from which your pet can get fresh water from their drinking fountain. Or just bring your own bowl and fill it up at the water station. It's really a pet friendly place. We brought our Shih Tzu along and saw another dog sitting on the bench. Food choices are good, you can enjoy a beer and burger, tacos, Filipino/Korean fusion, Coffee, Boba, Argentinian food. There's also a big screen which they televise sports games. Price wise it's about $15-$20 per person for a complete meal.

It was like a free art show with a cup of coffee and good vibes! They had art in the front area and the back lounge area! THEY CRANK THAT AC!!! So if you are looking to escape the heat grab a coffee and snack and chill awhile! The staff is sooooo friendly! I'm 99% sure this is family owned and by the looks of it all female owned as well. They take the name to pa'dekwa seriously cuz I felt very very welcomed! Now the coffee! I got the collagen crush!!! And DANG! That drink is super tasty especially knowing there is healthy benefits from it. I took the suggestion from the lady at the register and added a touch of hazelnut to make that "Nutella" flavor (THANKS FOR THE SUGGESTION) Overall I WILL be back! When I'm treating myself to coffee solo or with friends this will be my top spot! I can't wait to "catch" their FISH FRY!! (They try at least once a month)

Not everyone should sell coffee…read more I am new to this location and wanted to try a new coffee shop which I assume the coffee was going to be good by the ratings that they have by 4.8. So I stopped by to get an ice Americano. The vibe of the coffee shop is very nice. Open layout study rooms perfect if you want to study or if you're going to meet up with friends. The other thing is the barista was very friendly and inviting. I should have known when I asked her if they had ice coffee, she said yes and responded with we can make you an ice Americano, which it's not the same. However, I decided to order an ice Americano. The other thing is I ordered a turkey sandwich which was very good and had a lot of favor. By the time, when my order comes out, I take it to my car and start drinking it, I started sipping my coffee, not realizing that I had coffee grounds inside, I was already late to work, so I did not want to go back or to make any fuss about it. Which couple hours later I just wanted to call the store to ask them if they can remake it or if there's anything that can do, they do not say anything about that and not acknowledge that my coffee was pretty much coffee grounds, and water. Which I was very sympathetic and told them I don't know if they calibrated the machine in the morning because I can in the morning. At the end of the story, she said thank you for letting us that our machine is not calibrated and she said goodbye. I really like this place I like the vibe I like the small family Business own. but if I'm gonna receive a terrible coffee order with a side of terrible customer service it's not worth driving here. At this point, I would rather just go to Starbucks and save myself a couple dollars. I am tired of small little businesses, not taking time and effort to really understand how to make a good cup of coffee. And they be charging a leg and an arm for it. Now that I'm reading the reviews, nobody talks about the coffee here. they talk about the environment and the food, which I do agree the food and the environment is very nice.

They offer plenty of options and the convenience of indoor seating, outdoor seating, or a drive-thru, depending on your mood and schedule. Picture shown is Bixby Knolls sandwich not Lakewood store…read moreI've given the Cassidy's in Lakewood multiple chances, and unfortunately the experience has been consistently disappointing compared to the Bixby Knolls location. I always order the same bacon, egg, and cheese on a cheddar jalapeño bagel. The photos speak for themselves. The Bixby Knolls sandwich is loaded with bacon, toasted properly, and the bagel is fresh with an even cheddar and jalapeño topping. It's exactly what you'd expect. The Lakewood location is the complete opposite. Even after asking for extra bacon, I was told they only use three strips of bacon, and the sandwich still came with barely any meat. On top of that, they don't toast the sandwich when preparing it, which leaves the bagel tasting stale and takes away from the overall experience. The cheddar jalapeño bagels are also inconsistent, with uneven toppings and noticeably lower quality. I've been to the Lakewood location three separate times hoping it was just an off day, but it's been the same result every time. Meanwhile, I've never had to ask for anything special at the Bixby Knolls location--they simply make a better sandwich every visit. I was told the locations are owned separately, and if that's true, it definitely shows. I hope the Lakewood owner spends some time at the Bixby Knolls store because the difference in quality, preparation, and consistency is night and day.
