I went to buy my best friend a gift certificate here. I was very specific on what I wanted to pay for. a full set of nails, gel polish and a design. said it several times and was quoted 100$ so that's what I purchased certificate for. needless to say my friend goes in gets a plain gel manicure, no tips no design because they kept telling her extra money . I never would have bought 100$ certificate for a 40$ job! they charged her the 100$ so she left not leaving a tip! make sure you ask before they touch your nails or you'll wind up paying 200$ for a job that's 45-50$ somewhere else! read more

I don't even know where to start....my bloody cuticles the over priced manicure?...being chased to my car over a tip! I was searching for a nail place to get a simple manicure done that's exactly what I asked for but the lady seemed to understand and proceeded to put some type of molding gel on my nails. After the lady finished with my nails I was left with multiple cuts and bloody fingers. The nails looked so uneven and chunky next thing you know I'm being handed a bill of a 110 dollars! I'm someone who's been getting her nails done for years now and a full acrylic set with design will usually cost me around 80 dollars not a manicure with zero designs and solid nails color! After paying I was already uncomfortable with the absurd price I just paid and the amount of cuts my fingers had been left with. I was in no mood to add a tip and this is coming from someone who is extremely generous and understanding with tips however this was the first time in my entire life where I felt I absolutely did not want to pay a tip on top of this fat bill I just got hit with for extremely poor quality work. I was chased to my car and asked if I was leaving with no tip. Lady wouldn't let me leave without the tip....i wouldn't recommend this place. I used to love this place because it's close to my home and I was always treated with respect and kindness. However, after an encounter with SHERRY today, I won't ever go back. I had an appointment for a regular pedicure, which was done. After I was placed at the nail drying station, Sherry came to me with the bill (had never experienced that before), quoted the price for the service and asked when I would pay, which was weird because I always paid for my service at the end of drying my nails. Anyway, I explained that I would be paying with cash but needed to get money from the ATM, that was steps away from me, and I would pay at the end. After about 15 minutes, she came back and demanded that I pay now. I had never experienced treatment like that before, especially at a place that I had been going to for about 2.5-3 years. After she demanded payment, I got up, and removed the paper towels that were wrapped between my toes, and she kept saying to not smudge the nail polish (well Sherry if you hadn't been hounding me for payment, I could have still been drying my toes but whatever). Anyway, I got money from the machine, handed her the money directly, and she proceeded to put my change on the counter and not hand it to me. Even when I visited eons ago for my mani/pedis, I can almost agree with some of the low reviews and photos posted here. And as I remember, I wasn't jumping for joy either. But I liked how easy it was for me to get to their Tarrytown Rd location in the White Plains Shopping Ctr. I recently stopped by to pick up a Valentine's mani/pedi gift card for hubs since he likes coming here- especially if he has a long break working from home. I was very pleased to see how much Bellini put into their aesthetics. Before, the space looked drab. Now? Bright, put together and chic. These folks have been here for ages and I'm not sure what's going to break them. All I know is I have 2 hard-working ladies in Ardsley and in North White Plains who I go to and work their asses off in keeping my mani and toesies in check. Hubs can keep coming here. read more

On Wednesday, June 22nd I arrived for my 4pm appointment with Seybi for a gel manicure. When I arrived, I stated who I had an appointment with. I was told by Grace very rudely she can't see me because she has a customer. I stated I made an appointment specifically with Seybi and then wrongfully accused of lying by Grace. Being falsely accused of being dishonest was disrespectful and unprofessional. Not to mention, the same person did my nails 2 weeks ago. If Grace is the owner, she needs to learn how to treat ALL customers with kindness and respect. Now if she's only the manager, the owner needs to reconsider having her as an employee. I went to the salon a few weeks ago as a walk-in. I was seen immediately which I appreciated. I believe a manager, or the owner was the one doing my nails because it definitely seemed like she was the one running things. I was getting a fill in and she told me that next time, I could take a break from the acrylic and switch over to powder so my nails can take a bit of a breather, so I appreciated her giving advice on what was best for my nail. I did see some people come in and experience their own dissatisfaction with their services. My manicure and general experience was fine. She made nice small talk and treated me decently. And I was satisfied with it in the moment. The cost was l a hefty penny, but I was fine paying it in the moment because everything is getting more expensive these days. I went over to the in store ATM to grab some cash because of course they charge a credit card fee and tipped about $8 to round up to the last $20 I took from the machine. As you know most atms only give out cash in multiples of 20. Can you believe on the way out, she stopped me, brought me in close, whispered in my ear, that I needed to look at the price and tip more next time. We can all have our own debates about tipping culture and expectations but I do think it's ridiculous that just because you raised your cost for your business that the customer must also raise their tip to match that percentage. I'm literally already paying more! I'm not going to argue the prices people set for their business. I know a lot goes into it, between the cost of service, the cost of materials, and the general cost of running a business. But if you spent an hour doing my nails one week and still spend an hour doing my nails the next week, I really don't see why I should be required to tip more simply cause you decided to change your price between last week and now? The labor is the same! And even so, how dare you stop me on the way out?! if I thought my experience was fine, that last interaction definitely left a bitter taste in my mouth. read more

Hello, I am not one to write reviews for anything but after 3 visits to this salon I feel it is a must. I been here 3x due to not being able to find another salon that does powder. Each time I walked into their salon I was not greeted with any welcoming saying, instead it was just "what do you want or how can I help you". When sitting in the chair and others would enter this salon the greeting was completely different with high energy. I experienced 3 different techs including the manager I'm assuming, she sits next to register, she was the worst with the biggest attitude towards me. All 3 would get upset if I wanted any adjustment to my nails that I was paying for and they all ignored any concern. For an example one of the techs did my nails thin so I asked the next tech to do it thicker and she completely ignored me and my nail broke within a few days. I did not feel like they cared about me as a customer. if you are not a regular here or fair skin I don't think they care to serve you. Its just any type of care to get your money. I have used this salon for years now but I am sad to say my recent experience was so bad I won't return. For starters having your pedicurist show the dead skin removed to a coworker is unacceptable. I came here for pampering. Not judgement. The pedicure itself was rushed and inadequate despite paying for a green tea spa pedicure, which I do regularly. My cuticles were barely looked at and the nails were left overly long. I understand leaving them long so I come back sooner but this length was ridiculous. If I wasn't so stunned by her prior behavior I would have had her trim some more but I really just wanted to be done. So I initially loved this place... cheap & close to home. Decently clean, although I must say there is a lot of clutter, so it kind of takes away from the atmosphere. I got gel powder manicures consistently for about 6 months & saw a huge decline in quality within that time. Whether you get a manicure that lasts you 2 weeks as opposed to 4 days is entirely dependent on who does the job. This place is also very heavy is acrylic use & electrical tools & machines... I went here 2 days ago for a gel manicure. This place I guess you can call clean because the filer came from a new package however to "clean" my nails I question whether the tools she used were unused. The gel took 15 min tops, and she didn't even let them dry long enough, I saw polish wiping off at the end, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt. She didn't clean my nails up at all... just painted super quickly and that's it. My nail has chipped already after not even 2 full days and I honestly don't even want to go back, I'd rather spend an additional 30$ (plus 6$ tip) to get them done where I know it's actually quality work. I came into this salon with my mom and we both got mani pedis, my pedicure was great, very relaxing and she did the job it was great till that point. I went to start my manicure and i asked to get an acrylic set, she seemed a bit troubled at first but i didnt think much of it, they had a different technique in applying acrylics from what im used to seeing when getting it done. What really shocked me was the price of both me and my moms acrylic and pedicures which came out to 204$, THAT IS CRAZY! i understand everything about the corona virus causing prices to bump up but i was really not expecting that. And from viewing day 2 of my FRESH set of acrylic nails, regular polish "coffin shaped" if thats what you want to consider this. IT WAS NOT WORTH IT completely angry with how they look right now and feel stupid for paying for this! First let me start by saying if i could give no stars i would. This is not a review about how good or bad they do nails (because i didn't get that far -_-), this is about customer service. Me and my friend walked in at about 620 we asked for mani pedis (which shouldn't be too complicated to full fill) The lady im assuming who was the manager owner what have you yelled what do you want? As if she didn't hear what we said when we walked in. After i repeated myself she said ok choose a color. As me and my friend are looking through and picking colors (about 5 minutes later) she proceeds to tell us that they are extremely busy and for us to come back tomorrow. Now this is where my problem lies, one there was nobody in there, maybe two ppl one was getting a pedi the other a manicure of sorts. Two if you knew you were so "busy" you could have told me that before i decided to pick a color. Three! If you knew you were closing at 7 and didnt want to take anybody else stop me at the door then. Either way your a rude heffa but at least i didnt have to waste my time. I will not be returning there anytime soon, or at all for that matter. I'm so glad I didn't write this review the first day I got my nails done. I went to Bellini's Saturday, June 11th for a silk extension set, for which I paid $75 plus tip. I loved my nails the day of, the salon was clean and Lisa (the nail tech) was lovely. However! It's now 5 days later and every single one of my nails is falling off, I work in Manhattan so I can't come in after work to show them, and I have a wedding to attend Saturday morning. So the only thing I can do is take them the rest of the way off. I've attempted to call, but received no answer and they don't have a voicemail. No matter how lovely they were. I've never had my nail come off after a manicure. Especially not a $75 one read more

My review is not reflective of the staff but with the management of that business. Pre-pandemic I paid $37.00 for a mani-pedi. That price we up almost 18% and now a basic mani-pedi is $45.00 They all claim the increase is because they had to 'retrofit' the salons to meet the state's guidelines. That's BS. All of those business received financial assistance during the pandemic. This business is taking taking advantage of a bad situation and bumping up prices. I have been going to this salon for more than 10 years. The last time I went there they had a sign that anyone paying with a card (credit or debit) would incur an additional 4% charge. . Is this absurd? Who pays cash these days? Or maybe they just want a cash business so they dont have to pay taxes. I am done with them! read more
