I love it here! My mom and I go here as regulars. Everyone is nice and does an amazing job. We have a pleasant experience every-time we go. I only go to Soleil for my manicure and pedicures. We've had gel pedicures done here, regular pedicures, gel manicures and regular manicures, all have lasted. We only go here and if they don't have any availability, we rather wait for a later date versus going somewhere else. If you want a good manicure and pedicure then definitely go here. read more

Very nice, friendly staff. They do lots of pedis, but I just get the nails done. Very good, careful work with huge choices of colors. Reasonable prices. A plus if you speak Spanish, but fine if you don't. read more

I wanted to love this place! My first time was great, everything was clean and my regular mani lasted 2 weeks. I decided to go back and treat myself for my birthday. The person seemed in a bad mood or rushed and was really rough. She cut the side of my toenail and made me bleed ‍ It was really painful and she was not apologetic at All. My regular nail salon had a very long wait, so I was desperate and spontaneously tried this salon since it was affordable. The nail salon was not sanitary whatsoever and the equipment used was very questionable. The nail technician pulled out cuticle removers from her purse without soaking them in proper disinfectant and reused old nail filers, which is disgusting. If the previous client was positive for an infectious agent, the nail technician could have easily transmitted it to other clients. This place should not be in service and definitely would fail an inspection. My second complaint deals with their technicians' lack of care to their customer's nails and cuticles. While filing my gel polish off (which she tried to scrape off with her nails), she repeatedly filed at my cuticles. I mentioned to her MULTIPLE times that it hurt and to be gentle, but she said she wasn't filing my cuticles. Another nail technician even had to tell her to be gentle with my cuticles. This nail salon should NOT be in business. Avoid at all costs. read more

After coming here from the Bronx over the past 2 years this nail salon has been consistently great. I think all of the women are great at what they do, but of course I think Julie is the best as she is so careful and does an excellent job. My nails were destroyed after getting acrylic nails, but Julie managed to make them look pretty again. This place is a gem! Highly recommend it! read more

They stayed extra time and saved my life! I have a wedding to go to this weekend and only have tonight to get my nails done, everywhere else was closed; the nice lady at this salon told me to come in even tho it was approaching their closing time as well. The lady took her time, did a great job cleaning up my cuticles (I have a bad habit of biting my nails and pick my cuticles ), and applied color evenly and close to my cuticles perfectly. She even remembered to give me a shoulder/upper back massage despite it was at the end of the day and an hour past her closing time. 42 dollars for a perfect gel mani/pedi/massage. Someone recommended this nail salon to me because I'm new to the neighborhood and it was right down the street. I wasn't aware that most nail salons around here don't do acrylics, and pinky seemed to be the only one in the area that did. Their price board said "acrylic gel nails- $35" yet I still asked one of the 2 employees anyway just to make sure. I asked how much would it cost to get acrylic gel nails and at first she told me $45 and then looked at the other employee and raised it up to $50, so I asked her why the board said $35 and the other employee, who was probably the owner, and slumped over a couch, said that $35 is the cost for regular acrylics.. when I mentioned that they should probably change their price board, she gave me an attitude and suggested I went elsewhere. I ended up getting a color gel manicure at central nail spa right across the street. read more

I can't say how the nail service is because unfortunately the manager was sooo rude I didn't stay. As I walked in she was having a pedicure done and she just asked "what do you want?" At first I thought it was just a language barrier and said "hello, manicure, pedicure, please"she never answered or acknowledged it. She was too busy looking at her own toes and ignored me... Well I was thinking about doing gel colors and was curious to know how much was the price difference... It went from $22.00 to $62.00. Until then it's ok, but her attitude answering me was as if I was insulting or bothering her tremendously and it was such turn off that I just walked away. Horrendous manners!!!! I just had a pedicure at Pinky Nails and clean it was not! The cuticle nipper and nail clipper came out of a dirty plastic drawer next to the nail technician and the same clipper and nipper was immediately used on the person after me. NO STERLIZING THERE!! Just disgusting. Will never return. Zero stars. read more

I have been going to Pinky Nails for years and they are so wonderful. The staff is so nice and dedicated and the place is very clean. I have gotten mani pedi's and they are very well done, with a very broad color selection. The prices are definitely affordable. I also get my face waxing done and they seem to do it well, it could be better for upper lip etc, but I only go to them for my eyebrows those they are great at! Julie generally does them and she does a fantastic job. read more

I went here about 3 weeks ago for a gel manicure. I had acrylic on that i wanted to soak off and polish with gel. There's only 2 women there, one whom i have no idea what her name is and the other is Linda. This place is by far a gem (which isn't a problem for me, i like to go where my nails actually get done correctly) Linda wraps my nails in foil like one does for gel, and about 20 minutes later started taking it off. the acrylic came off with more ease than i expected. She didn't scrap off all the acrylic before starting to file and buff my nails (which i totally wasn't happy with --but i justified it with my nails being thin and her trying not to break my nail underneath and rather letting the gel grow out.) By the way, my nails grow in an almond shape, and linda filed one of my fingers so fast, she made them square without asking (extremely displeased) however they were still long enough that she could shape them back to almond... Now lets fast forward to last week, the gel was growing out and my middle finger had a tear in it, so i wanted to get a gel mani to keep that nail from ripping. I decide to give them another chance, Linda does a pedicure for me ( i haven't done a pedicure in almost 2 months--i fractured my foot and although i'm no longer in a cast, its still extremely sensitive) i informed linda that my foot was injured and all i wanted was cut file and paint. she overall was good about my foot UNTIL SHE LEANED ON IT TRYING TO GRAB SOMETHING FROM A TRAY. I tried everything in my power not to spazz and just let it go so i can get the hell outta there ASAP. While getting my pedicure done, the other woman comes to start removing the gel from my hands. Extremely rough and i could barely understand her. Again, they filed and buff but didn't remove all the acrylic. this time i was a little annoyed since my fingers stayed wrapped in acetone longer and i hate that some nails are thicker than others due to the old acrylic. the tech mixed 2 gel polishes to give me a light pink natural look, however she painted on the colors too fast (they're all streaky and with holes) and she didn't clean up the sides or cuticles before having me cure under the UV light. I'm beyond pissed. i do not plan on returning. and now I've been waiting a least a week before i get ANOTHER gel manicure since this was was terrible. PS i painted my own color on top to make it a bit more pleasing to look at. read more

This is the nail salon my mother goes to and she loves it so I went and was kinda disappointed. I got a manicure and a pedicure. The pedicure was really good. She did a great job but while I was sitting there Julie (who another reviewer said is great) came to do my manicure at the same time. I don't normally like it this way but it was getting kinda busy so I figured I would go along with it. She spent maybe 5 mins doing my nails! They were done long before the pedicure was finished. My cuticles look awful and she filed my nails so short on my left hand that they look like lil stumps. My right hand is a little better, but not much. The nail polish is all lumpy and it just looks bad. Its 3 days later and my toes look great but Im gonna have to repolish my fingers. I mean maybe Julie was just having a bad day, but it's by far the worst manicure I have ever received. I was a new customer and they dont know that my mom is a regular. Maybe she would have done a better job if she knew me?? read more
