It's unfortunate, but I have to give Bellissma Pizza an updated two star review due to my experience with them tonight. I placed an order through Yelp for a buffalo chicken wrap, a veggie quesadilla and an order of French fries. The delivery man was pleasant and handed us our order in person instead of dropping it off at the doorstep. Opened up my bag and I did NOT get a veggie quesadilla, I got a veggie wrap. I called Bellissima and a woman answered the phone. I explain what happened and she asks me (in a super condescending manner) for a receipt with a ticket number from the bag. There was no receipt on my bag. There was a menu stapled to the bag and she kept going back and forth about how that's how they know which orders were placed. She said, "Did you order through DoorDash?" And I said, "No, I ordered through Yelp." She asked for my phone number because I don't think she understood GrubHub works in conjunction with Yelp. She put me on a brief hold after she found my order in the system and said, "Would you like me to give you credit because we're really busy right now and I can't have someone come out to deliver your item." I asked how I would know if I was credited and she said they look it up by caller ID and the next time I call they'll have my credit on file. Yeah... I highly doubt that's going to happen. I can say goodbye to $10 that I spent on food that I didn't want. She wasn't even apologetic and seemed like she was rushing to get off the phone with me. I hate writing negative reviews, but I did not get the service I deserve. This was my first time ordering from Bellissima Pizza using ezCater for a Drs. office in NE Philly that specifically requested several different types of pizza - Pepperoni, All the Meats, Veggie, BBQ Chicken, Cheese (They DID ask for Eggplant Pizza, but I don't know any place on Earth that makes that...LOL). I never ordered from them before but I tried them out. They have some amazing Salads and their crab salad is off the charts. But they do have a problem with ordering turkey burgers and gyros. In the written menu is states the gyros come with a salad or rice. The person that I spoke with on the phone insisted the gyros only come with french fries. So, he sent me a full new salad and added the cost to my bill and the french fries. Their fries are not that good and I preferred not to have the french fries. Their Italian dishes are good too. The flavor of the pizza itself is nothing special compared to some other pizza places I've tried in the NE. It is also a little too thick for my liking, but some other people may enjoy that. Mozzarella fries were decent, and I would recommend those if you are into cheesy fries. My fiance enjoyed his Meat Lovers stromboli a lot, but did not care for the flavor of the pizza sauce on the side. It was just "okay," and the combination of bacon, whiz and seasonings just made the whole thing overly salty as well.
