An event was apparently planned without adequate staffing, with only two bartenders trying to handle the crowd. If you're going to host events and pack people into your establishment, basic cleanliness, adequate staffing, crowd management, and safe operations shouldn't be optional. Robert, specifically, was remarkably unprofessional. A restaurant owner should know how to de-escalate a situation, communicate with guests, and take some ownership when his operation is clearly overwhelmed. Instead, he chose arrogance and confrontation. I rarely feel compelled to write a review this negative, but the combination of filthy facilities, poor planning, questionable operations, and an owner who openly tells customers he doesn't care what they think deserves to be called out. As for Robert: based on our interaction, hospitality may simply be the wrong line of work for him. His approach would probably be better suited to being the leading act at a circus than running a restaurant.
