I had a really frustrating experience with Beehive Plumbing…read more I had a clogged toilet and sewage backing up into the shower drain next to it, so I called Beehive. To their credit, they were very nice on the phone and came out within a few hours. The technician, TJ, was also nice and seemed like he was trying his best. He spent a few hours there, went through multiple toilets, and tried a couple of cleanouts. In the end, though, he was not able to clear the clog. He told me the issue was solely because of a belly in the drain line. It does look like there is a belly in the line, so I am not disputing that. But the next day, I had another plumbing company come out. They pulled the same toilet TJ had pulled the day before and were able to locate and clear the actual clog in about 20 minutes. So I ended up paying two plumbing companies for the same problem, and the second company actually fixed it. I called Beehive afterward multiple times trying to get this resolved. Each time, I was told a supervisor would call me back within a few days, but no one ever called. When I followed up, they said their notes showed the supervisor had tried to call but couldn't leave a message. That happened twice, even though I've never had any issue receiving voicemails before. Finally, on the third attempt, I waited on hold until they transferred me directly to James, who I was told is the customer support supervisor. James told me that if I got an invoice from the second plumbing company showing there was a clog that was cleared, Beehive would reimburse me for their charge. The next day, I got the invoice from the second company and sent it to the email address James gave me. The invoice stated that there was a soft clog that was removed/pushed through. It also noted the belly in the line and said it could cause future clogs, but the immediate issue was still an actual clog that the second company cleared. Since that clog was cleared, everything has been working normally for 30+ days. I waited another week and heard nothing back. I called Beehive again and was told they "didn't receive" the invoice, even though I had sent it to the exact email address James gave me. I resent it to the same address, then once again had to wait on hold and ask to be transferred directly to James because the call-back process clearly wasn't working. After all of that, Beehive refused to reimburse me because the invoice also mentioned the belly. That felt really unfair. The belly may be a real longer-term plumbing issue, but the immediate problem I called about was a clog, and another company cleared that clog the next day after Beehive could not. What made it even more frustrating is that after looking through other reviews, I saw other customers describe what sounded like a similar experience: Beehive recommending a very expensive repair when another company was able to address the immediate issue for much less. My impression was that they were more focused on pointing me toward a multi-thousand-dollar repair for the belly than solving the immediate clog I had called them for. They were fast and polite, but based on this experience, I would not use them again. I would recommend calling a smaller local plumbing company instead.

My AC decided to die on me last week and these guys were amazing!…read more First of all I live in a gated community of townhomes and my unit is in the middle so access is not an easy task. Upon arrival these guys were friendly and very informative. They assessed the situation and let me know the fan in the unit had been completely destroyed by something getting into it. Both of my outdoor AC unit and the indoor funace/ac were 20 yrs old and not functioning well to begin with, then it started making a rattling sound and was super loud then it just stopped completely, which is the reason I called. Chase was very helpful showing me my different options and explaining the difference between them all, he offered the option of financing and helped me through the payment process and explained clearly when I asked about thier cancelation policy which was as simple as if you cancel then u are refunded your deposite in full no questions asked. The delivery of the unit was complicated as I am the middle unit in my complex so They brought in a crane and Regie helped the incredible operator direct it onto my back deck with no damage to my gutters and precision of placement, he put the new unit in place and had the old unit removed again by crane which is quite a task but such an amazing option to have especially in my situation. He also removed my old furnace/ac in the basement and brought all new equipment down for the following morning. He was a one man show on this job aside from the crane operator, I'm assuming because of the 4th of July the day before, and he crushed it!! The next day Todd and his partner showed up early and orked diligently and effectively! They we're able to come up with solutions with the thermostat and wiring that saved me some dry wall repair, which I greatly appreciate!! Overall my experience was very positive and I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for an honest, reliable, and trustworthy team of employees and buisness!

Several weeks ago I made an appointment for a general routine furnace and a/c inspection and service. They booked me for 6/18...I asked for an early morning appointment and was advised that the closest they could come would be an 0800 to 1100 window. Had not heard anything from them until 6/18 when I called them at 0900 to see if I was scheduled...they confirmed. At 0955 they texted me to advise the tech was running late but would be there shortly. I texted back and asked how many calls the tech had made that morning. I received no response. No one ever showed up. At 1100 I called to reschedule as I couldn't wait around any longer for them. They suggested that I not reschedule as they were several weeks out and couldn't get to me until il mid-August. I couldn't believe that...a long time customer who purchased a full system from them 9 years ago...who has had them service my system every year for both heating and cooling...and this is how they think they should solve a problem that they created. They have absolutely zero problem wasting customer time, and make absolutely no effort in trying to remedy a situation in favor of the customer. I told them that I was taking my business elsewhere. They didn't offer evening Friday or Saturday service--just canceled. I ended up waiting until Monday for another plumber (from another company), adding three more days without any water use in the house. I understand prioritizing major clients, but abruptly dropping a residential customer in a true emergency isn't acceptable. They should have made it work, even if late Friday or early Saturday. I paid thousands of dollars based on this understanding. I trusted this company because the owner, Court, had previously done excellent work at my home before he owned RareBreed. Unfortunately, this experience was drastically different: **Professionalism Issues:** - Two plumbers argued with each other throughout the workday while in my home - What should have been a professional job turned into an all-day event - By the end of the day, 5-6 plumbers were in my house trying to finish the work - I had to speak with the crew leader about the unprofessional behavior **Incomplete Work:** - About a week after the original work, I had to call them back because the P-trap under my bathroom sink was leaking due to incorrect measurements - On Christmas Eve 2025, I discovered water on my bathroom floor - The source was a leaking shutoff valve connected to OLD, CORRODED, RUSTED galvanized steel pipes that were NEVER REPLACED during the "complete repipe" - I had to make multiple trips to Home Depot on Christmas Eve to purchase galvanized steel pipe and repair it myself - I sent them photos clearly showing painted galvanized steel pipes with old paint rings, proving they predate the April 2024 work - During the callback for the P-trap repair, workers were directly under this sink yet never addressed or replaced these corroded pipes **Company Response:** When I called to address the unreplaced galvanized steel pipes, I was told on the phone that only drainage pipes are under warranty. This completely misses the point - these galvanized steel water lines should have been replaced during the ORIGINAL work in April 2024 as part of the complete pipe replacement I paid for. I was told all pipes except copper would be replaced - that's why I agreed to spend thousands of dollars. I sent an email requesting a written explanation of why these pipes were not replaced as promised. The company has not responded to my email request. **Bottom Line:** I paid thousands of dollars for complete pipe replacement and received incomplete work. The corroded galvanized steel pipes I discovered on Christmas Eve should have been replaced when I paid for the job in April 2024. I cannot recommend this company based on this experience. If you hire RareBreed Plumbing, I strongly recommend: - Getting extremely detailed written quotes specifying exactly which pipes will be replaced - Taking before and after photos of ALL work areas - Inspecting all work thoroughly before final payment - Being prepared for potential professionalism issues during the work
