I've had two Dyson vacuums repaired by these guys and both times have been outstanding.

Business is noncommittal with appointments. Contacted company at 9:30am for fridge repair. Owner…read morestated he didn't know if he could come out and that he would call me back. I waited three hours and called again. He asked for my address and directions to home. I asked what time he would be out. He said he didn't know and would call me back. At 6pm, still no call back or show up from him, so I went with someone else. Would have appreciated a little more integrity, a courtesy call, or time committal from this organization if the intention was not to even come out after asking for my address.

Unfortunately, they no longer do ice maker repairs, however they did refer me to Service Resource. Wow! This really worked out well for us. Spoke with Brian the owner. He came same day, diagnosed the needed repairs. He shopped around for best pricing on parts. The pricing to repair one refrigerator didn't make sense to fix do to age of equipment and lack of life expectancy, his suggestion. We agreed to put in new ice maker in the other, he acquired needed parts and installed two hours later. Very clean, neat, thorough, timely and conscientious. He didn't like something he saw from the original installation and reworked it, no extra charge. I learned on trip two he is qualified to do numerous home repairs. We now have him on speed dial. Yes, it shows I'm from Florida, however we live in Brown County as well.

Eric came to our home about noon today because water was dripping out of our LG refrigerator and we…read morecalled them to take a look at it. We had completed a manual defrost twice in two weeks and water was still building up under the basket in the bottom of the freezer. Eric came in and got right to work, within 15 minutes. He had all kinds of pieces laying on the floor and he diagnosed it as the drain line being frozen up, not clogged. He was able to get it back together and working again, even less than an hour. part of the problem is we had the temperature set too low. We were very impressed.

In late January of this year, Duncan replaced the ice maker in my refrigerator. The technician did…read morean excellent job, and the entire repair took about 15 minutes. Less than six months later, the replacement ice maker failed because of defective internal gearing. The part itself was covered under the manufacturer's warranty, and once again the technician completed the repair in less than 15 minutes. My issue isn't with the technicians or the quality of their service--it was with Duncan's billing policy. I was charged $289 for what amounted to a quick replacement of a warranty part that was known to be defective. While the manufacturer covered the replacement part, Duncan only warranties its labor for 90 days. After that, customers are responsible for the full labor charge, even when the failure is caused by a defective part that Duncan installed. In many cases, service companies can seek reimbursement from the manufacturer for warranty labor, yet I was still billed the full amount. I understand that businesses have overhead, technicians deserve to be paid, and service calls cost money. I was prepared to pay a fair and reasonable charge. However, $289 for a 15-minute repair on a warranty replacement part that failed in less than six months feels excessive. What was most disappointing was the lack of willingness to discuss or reconsider the charge when I raised my concerns. A little flexibility or customer goodwill would have gone a long way. Based on this experience, I will not be using Duncan again. If you're considering them, be aware that while they stand behind their labor for only 90 days, you may still face significant labor charges if a replacement part fails shortly after that period.
