He came same day, diagnosed the needed repairs. He shopped around for best pricing on parts. The pricing to repair one refrigerator didn't make sense to fix do to age of equipment and lack of life expectancy, his suggestion. We agreed to put in new ice maker in the other, he acquired needed parts and installed two hours later. Very clean, neat, thorough, timely and conscientious. He didn't like something he saw from the original installation and reworked it, no extra charge. I learned on trip two he is qualified to do numerous home repairs. We now have him on speed dial. It's a one-man shop, which -- when illnesses arise -- can mean a reshuffling of appointments. But the very fact that it is a one-man shop offers a personal touch it can be hard to find anymore.
