We weren't quite sure how it would work at first and who would be assigned to stop in 2x/day. But Tomiko was great about matching cat lovers on her staff with the days we needed coverage. Alexa was our cats' "main" sitter but Kaitlin also stopped by a couple of times when Alexa wasn't available. We had the opportunity meet both Alexa and Kaitlin in person before we departed, and Tomiko also came by to make sure everything would run smoothly in our absence. I am pretty organized and had typed up instructions already for Alexa and Kaitlin, but Tomiko had a very detailed checklist that she also went through with me to make sure nothing was overlooked. I really appreciated that. We got texts with pictures and updates on our cats at every visit, which we also really appreciated. Our cats are very shy and skittish with strangers, so we got to hear how they were warming up to Alexa and Kaitlin at each visit. That was such a comfort to us! We would use Vet Tech Pet Care again in the future without hesitation and highly recommend them to others! While they are a service with many different petsitters working for them, it felt very personal and customized to our senior cats' specific needs.

I was at a memorial service several hours away when they called and said she was really winded (it happens), so I approved taking her out of play and put her in a kennel with plenty of water.
