I've had to inspect two cars in Maryland during my time living here and this experience was the worst. They don't value your time and the cost of simple repairs are ridiculous. The initial inspection was fine. They found two cosmetic issues with the car that I had to be fixed. Both on the exterior of the car. One, for example, was the rear wiper blade. So the car fails, which is understandable. If your vehicle happens to fail, please do your research and compare cost for ANY fixes. For example, my back windshield wiper failed because it "smudges a little". I found that debatable however I didn't push on the issue. They told me to replace it they would have to (1) order the part which would take a day or two to arrive, and (2) the cost was $25+. I found that same wiper blade at the local AutoZone for $12 right after I left. And for anyone with the front two windows tinted on their vehicle, for window tint removal, they charge $150 which is absurd and overpriced. As for respecting customers time, they do not. I called on Monday to verify that the inspector would be available on Tuesday morning to reinspect my vehicle. I was told he would be in and that my appointment would be at 8AM when they open. I arrive at 7:55 AM and check in for my appointment. Do you know that I sat in the waiting room for 40 minutes before they decided to tell me that the inspector would not be coming to work that day? I wasted 40 minutes of my time when I could have left and rescheduled. The reinspection was rescheduled for the following day, again at 8 AM. This time I called the front desk before arriving to ensure that the inspector was indeed at work. Not surprised, I was told the inspector was "on his way to work" and that he " lived very far." I digress... To reinspect two cosmetic changes on my car, I sat in the waiting room for over an hour. I had to go to the front desk to ask for status of my car before they finished 15 minutes later. I am thankful that my car successfully inspected. However, I would not return to this location.

He attempted to locate another NTB that seemed to have the tire in stock, but did not. I called back to the Lanham store and Alex took my information and passed it on to Candy as it was too late to order the tire and he said he would be off. Candy called me first thing Monday to get some missing information and promised she would call back. She called later that afternoon to let me know the tire had been ordered and be in Tuesday afternoon. Tuesday morning she checked and found the tire had not been included for delivery that day and promptly called me to let me know, saving me a wasted trip. Wednesday, Candy called me to let me know the tire had been delivered and I could come get it installed. I never once had to call to check on anything. Rarely have I had such proactive service. Candy and Carlton exemplify what real customer service looks and feels like.

We found Ancash Roadside Assistance on Yelp and called because they had such great reviews. He answered immediately, sent me a location-sharing request, and arrived in about 20 minutes. After spending nearly two hours stranded on the side of the road, that level of responsiveness was a huge relief. Once he arrived, he got right to work and had the tire changed in less than 15 minutes. The entire process was quick, efficient, and stress-free, and we were safely back on the road much faster than expected. My only suggestion for improvement would be to introduce yourself before getting started. It was dark, and we were two women stranded on the side of the highway. When he arrived, he pulled up behind us and immediately started changing the tire without introducing himself. I genuinely appreciated the urgency and willingness to jump right in and get the job done, but in that situation, a quick introduction would have gone a long way in helping us feel more comfortable and know that the person approaching our vehicle was the roadside assistance we had called. Overall, though, the service was excellent. He showed up when we needed help, worked quickly, and got us moving again in no time. If you're stranded with a flat tire and need someone reliable, I would definitely recommend Ancash Roadside Assistance.

The gentleman running the front desk was professionally charismatic and knowledgeable. Without an appointment, he took me right away, within 5 minutes. He put one of his mechanics on it and within another 10 minutes, they found the nail and patched it up. 20 minutes later, I was back on road, after paying the $20 fee, heading to work. I know at other places, it would have taken "all-day" to be seen without an appointment. I really appreciated their care and timely response, and costs I paid for the service. I felt like a valued customer and will return for other services in the future.

Since then I've brought my vehicle back 4 times. Fast forward to 11/21 I had my vehicle TOWED in because the check engine light started to flash (as shown in video) I originally dealt with Steven, that's whom I dealt with the whole time since bringing my car there, days went by, then I called twice since I didn't hear any updates as to what was going on, allegedly Steven was out sick so I spoke with James who would tell me what he thinks I wanna hear & give me the run around, weeks went by I called AGAIN, spoke with Steven, this time he told me "he doesn't know anything about the vehicle James is dealing with it & he's not in at the moment" at this point I'm started to get pissed, so I decided to pop up there 12/18 since there has been poor communication on what is going on with the vehicle. When I get there Steven tells me they still don't know why the car is misfiring or the check engine light is blinking. I had my car TOWED in at 163,538 miles(as pictured in video), when I got the car back 12/18 it was 163,615(as pictured) with NO GAS IN THE CAR & that is 77 MILES OVER. I understand that a mechanic had to drive the car around to figure out what's going on but 77 MILES IS COMPLETELY INSANE & UNACCEPTABLE!!! At this point I'm starting to think these are a bunch of basement mechanics they are only good for oil changes, brakes & rotors (the basic stuff) that's just driving people vehicles around & not really fixing anything. The worst experience ever I should've known having to go back 3x's for the same issue. Don't waste your time.

In Oct 2024, I was informed by my dealership that I needed to…read morereplace my front two tires soon (it's been five years at this point that I have been driving them) and my tire pressure light came on. On March 1st 2025, I came to Tangah and they replaced my front two tires for $180. I was informed they were both new tires. On August 23rd, 2025 I was driving super early in the morning like 5am and my tire pressure light came on AGAIN. Soon after, my left tire was FLAT!!! Luckily my brothers were with me and put air in my tires. I was able to drive home safely with no issues. I went back to Tangah that evening and was like oh time to replace my other two 5 year old tires. They informed me that the tire that was flat was the tire they had given me back in March. Now back in June, I went to my dealership for an oil change, tire alignment and rotation. I was under the impression my old five year old tires needed to be replaced. So you can image I WAS LIVID that my new tires from March that I just spent $180 on were having issues. They put air in all my tires and told me I probably drove over something that knock the tire pressure and I should keep driving on it. If I continue to have issues I should come back. I'm a busy person. I came back this month - November 2025 and told them the tire pressure light still won't go away, it's getting colder and darker and I don't want any issues with my car and I'm stuck. I informed the man I know the issues is the tire and they needed to replace them. This man laughed in my face telling me there's nothing they can do. It's not their tires. I told him I didn't agree bc in March when I had replaced my tires the tire pressure light went away. I told him I know my car and believe the light is indicative of needing to replace my tires and the tires are no good. He refused and said I needed to pay for the tires and said I could go to wherever I wanted but no matter what I do it's the sensor and they would just resell the tires I have. I don't appreciate the way he talked to me and took advantage of my gender and car knowledge. I believe they sold me used tires for the price of new tires and these tires are no good. This place is full of it and I told them I will be back to prove them right ESPECIALLY if I continue to have issues with these tires!!!! Until then, I am going to continue to drive on these tires until my next oil change when I know my dealership will tell me they need to be replace, I get them replace and the TPSI is gone.
