I had a great experience today at this Just Tires. I was greeted very politely by the gentleman at the front desk. I came in for 4 new tires, and I was explained the difference in pricing and what is covered with the warranty. The manager Len is top notch! He came out to the waiting area and, he greeted customers, asked us if we wanted any refreshments (water and coffee). He made sure everyone was ok, I was very impressed. I was really pleased with the way I was treated. The waiting area is clean, the AC was on, which was great because today was very hot .Even the restroom was clean and tidy! There are several plazas near by to kill time to walk around in if you don't want to wait in the waiting area. I will definitely be back in 6 months to check my alignment. read more

brought my car in to have breaks replaced. Within the week, I heard grinding whenever I press my brakes. I brought it back, they told me it's to be expected but bring it back if the grinding persisted. I went months with the persistent grinding, brought it back multiple times. Each time was a hassle with no resolve. The first time they held my car for 8 hours only to call me 1 hour before close to say they hadn't gotten to it. Miraculously the 1 hour process of checking my brakes only took 20 min and they called me back to say everything was fine. The manager said his "best mechanic" was on it and would test drive it with me to see if he could hear the sound. My boyfriend went with him, heard the grinding but the mechanic went back to his manager and said he heard nothing. They've gotten over $1000 for my brakes alone. If I could leave zero stars I would. Just Tires, well this particular location serves its purpose of maintenance on your car. The strength is the work ethic and making sure the customer is taking care of. I have a favorite mechanic by the name of Justin. He operates and is provides leadership to his co workers. I would not take my car anywhere else unless it's a service they cannot provide. It may take some time to perform maintenance on your on your car but when they are done, it's like you just picked up from the dealer. Just Tires is reasonable and they work with their customers. I purchased 4 new tires from this group last year. They told me to re-align them after 6 months so I called and made an appointment for 1pm. I waited until 2:30 and they still had not started on the car so I left. The manager was apologetic and gave me $20 off the next work to be done but I was miffed that I spent nearly 2 hours of time with no result. I guess making a reservation does not mean much. HORRIBLE!!! AVOID AT ALL COST! I called and explained every last detail to the guy on the phone. Told him my belt split and came. Told him how the belt fell off and what the problem was. And asked them could they look at it and fix it.....he says "oh yea we can definitely do that".....I get it towed to just tires. Next day they call and say it's ready. When I go to pick it up the guy says oh yea your all good. After I pay he says "you might wanna get a second opinion on it though" I asked what did they see. He said something behind something (don't quite remember) but it should be fine....next day guess what....same problem. Had to get a tow AGAIN! Complete waste of TIME and MONEY! I had a flat tire last week and needed new ones. Went her because it is closer. I had to be at work so they said in a hour but it took them 2 hrs. When my car is ready one of my back rims logo broke. And my front and back lights broke even more stuff to my car gotten either cut or broken to . I know my car was fine till I came here. Messed up my car to the point I can't drive no more. I've lived in the area for over 30 years and used this place in an emergency situation for a tire replacement a few months back. That repair was simple and painless thanks to Justin. Bought the car back last month for an oil change...that repair was simple and painless and reasonably priced. I was happy with the services and prices so I went back again for another tire replacement. Another painless repair so I thought. After driving the vehicle at higher speeds, my car started to shake and wobble. Something that was not happening before the last tire replacement. I did chose to take the car back on a holiday, though they were open and I was off work. I was told to come back the next day because I needed a technician to look at it. I left beyond angry because I was scared to even drive the car long distances due to the extreme wobbling...I don't repair cars so I have no clue to what was happening other than thinking this tire is about to come off. And when you commute 30 mins back and forth to work...I don't have time for a tire to come off on the beltway. Anyway, I was pissed leaving yesterday because why are you open without any technicians?! Who's doing what here?! I was so confused and things really weren't explained. I returned today and saw my main man Justin which automatically made me feel at ease. I told him my issue and waited. About an hour later I was good to go free of charge of course. I will still use this shop because overall they are ultimately a good shop. But I would just like to work with Justin. No shade to anyone else working there cause I believe they all do good work. I called to see if I could get tired for my car. They had to order them but said they could have them in the next day between 8 and 8:30 am. They didn't arrive until 11:15 am but I was ok with that. Before coming in, I asked how long it would take to get this done. They said 45 minutes to an hour. I arrived at 11:30 they took my car in at 11:45 am and 2 hours and 15 minutes later. I'm done! Not ONE STAR, MAYBE 1/10 of a star. Recently, a tire on my Buick Verano was going flat. I barely made it to our local "Just Tires" store here in New Carrollton, and by the time they essentially denied me emergency service my tire was completely flat. They told me it would take 4 hours before they could assist me. They recommended that I purchase a 12 volt air compressor. The place that should have given me service failed to do so. I was advised that I should take my problem elsewhere. I said the car can't be driven due to the tire being flat, and I asked them how they would get it into the shop with a flat tire and the employee said they would drive it. I said driving it would only damage the tire and the "Just Tire" employee just shrugged his shoulders. I am 73 years old and a 100% totally disabled veteran with terminal cancer. To end my problem, I decided to put the spare tire on myself, but it was low on air. A "Just Tire" employee was told to put some air in my tire, and he did so but the amount he put in probably would not have filled a child's balloon. After I had my fill of their very poor service. I took it to the nearest Buick dealer. The problem was quickly fixed in a very friendly manner. In this case, one star for "Just Tires" is still too much. The City of New Carrollton is trying to revitalize its economic base. They are reaching out to businesses with various programs. Businesses with such poor service will only drive New Carrollton residents elsewhere. I know I will never go back even though it's only about 9 blocks from my home. read more

I observed the man at the counter argue with two customers, one was with a man that had called the day before and was quoted a price and after he had the work done they changed the price, after about an hour of going back and forth, they agreed to charge him the price that he was quoted. This review is about the attitude and customer service of the front desk Sales Associate, but also reflects on his associates in the garage and ultimately the Goodyear corporation. The Sales Associates presentation is the first thing you see when you enter the front door, a dusty and disheveled looking male with Tattoo's, missing front teeth, and a scowl on his face like he hates his job or tired of hearing his two children call his name since they are sitting in the waiting area with their mother. I understand they are selling Tires, but the office is as grimy and disorderly as the person who "greets" you. If you want to call a grunt (whatcha need) under his breath, his attempt to sell you a service or Tires as he steadily stares at something under the desk, which I assume is a computer. He can forget it!! He makes you feel like you are bothering him by showing up. I assume Just Tires is OK with this representation of their company, but they lost my $800 for Tires that day. The presentation of this Sales Associate (first initial "J") and the office was not making me feel like they could handle slopping soup in a prison chow line. Although, he could fit the part. These clowns over at the New Carrollton, MD, Just Tires are funny! They will not get an opportunity to touch my foreign SUV. I took my business over to Firestone. They know how to greet and treat you like a valuable customer. It was like comparing Tread Depth 1/32 to 8/32. I don't even think these fools even no the difference. I pulled as I was passing through town in my Van type RV (Class B). No other cars were there and the guys in shop were just milling around. I thought cool, all I need us a quick oil change and they aren't busy. I walk in and talk to what appears to be " man in charge". I ask how for much for a oil change and he glances out at my little RV and says "won't fit in Garage, can't do it". I thought if you wanted my business you would jack it up and throw couple jack stands and in less than 10 minutes you could change my oil. That's how they did it for years and years before all the fancy lifts that made people lazy. I bet bet if I wanted to purchase $1000 worth of tires it would of been a different story and my RV would of been jacked right up ! Well I went and bought oil-filter and stopped at Dollar store to buy a container to drain oil. I went back to my Campground and slid underneath and changed it myself in less than 10 minutes. I wish I had looked at these reviews before going there but I have learned my lesson. I see that a young lady had the same experience I had. I went there on 9/3/17 for 4 new tires and an alignment. The only thing I say was good is the timing. They were able to start on my car w/in 15 minutes. I don't like the fact that he gave me one price over the phone and when I came there it was higher. They also added in a lifetime wheel balance after I told them I was not interested. I will not take my vehicle back there anymore. read more

I don't even know where to start on this place. I seems they just want to push a sale on you each and everytime you walk in. About 6 months ago I had a vibration on my car at certain speeds and I walked in asking for a wheel balance and allignment. After about 3 hours they called me saying all my tires are bad which I didn't think so since i had changed them about a year before and they recomended I change them to fix the vibration. I listened to them which was a bad idea because my car was still vibrating at certain speed. So I deceided to buy new wheels. A few days ago I was driving to work and noticed a flat back tire so I dropped my car there since I was close by and asked them to balance all four wheels which they did not do. About 2 hours they called saying the tire is bad and can not be fixed and this time I decided to get a second opinion some place else so I asked them to put a spare on and I'll pick up my car. When I picked up my car I noticed they had not balance the wheels but they charged me for it so I called and asked the manager and he asked me to just simply bring the car back and I asked him why was the work not done even tho I left my car with you all day? So the next day I dropped the tire to NTB and they simply said the tire is good and it was just dust in the wheel that caused air to leak. All in all is I DON'T TRUST THIS PLACE AND THEY WILL NEVER GET MY BUSINESS AGAIN!!! read more
