I love ice cream, who doesn't? I have always been a fan of B & J for a couple years now, but this was my first time going in person for the Free Cone Day event! What a spectacle! Live DJ, photographer, fun props, and a corn hole game for our enjoyment! The staff were lively and extremely hospitable. You can tell they wanted to make the event special for their guests. On top of that, the place was spotless & clean. They even encouraged you to go back and try another flavor. I'm guilty of getting 3! They were also nice enough to give a pup cup to Pickles my Pomchi. That's a win in my book! Highly recommend to visit this location if you're looking for great service and delicious ice cream! read more

What negative things could possibly be said about this storied ice cream shop? There is no ambience to speak of, the servers are bored high school students, and it's all perfectly perfect as it is. I've only visited this location twice. First was just for a short ice cream visit. The second was for free cone day. The location is at a prime spot close to a walking path. This means limited parking and look out for pedestrians and bikes. Other than the location, the location has outdoor and indoor seating and decent parking for where it is. The ice cream seems to meet the standard and the friendliness is standard for ben in Jerry's IMO. I thought they did an amazing job with free cone day, although the DJ inside was a little loud and maybe should be outside next time. They had lots of flavors in stock and it was clean. I love Ben and Jerry's and I am so happy they made this location happen! read more

I was in the area and decided to make time for ice cream! Very friendly and welcoming environment. It smelled like waffle cones as soon as you entered I have to get non-dairy ice cream and the flavors I chose were really good. I was able to choose 2 flavors which was 2 scoops and my waffle bowl came up to like $10 dollars. You have a choice of a waffle cone, waffle bowl, sugar cone, or a cup. B&Js reminds me of that friend everyone has, that baby boomer who got a little too stuck in the late 60's for their own good. You know the type, has a Coexist bumper sticker on their Volvo, probably wears cargo shorts. Goes to farmers markets with an NPR tote bag. B&Js represents this kind of boomer activism-by-consumption, which really became popular in the late 90s. In this way they were pioneers. So there is a certain unchanging quality to the stores, always with the ethical ingredients and the recycling and the carbon footprint and the local dairy. The stores are exactly as they were in the early 2000's. But social activism has generational aspects, and I fear that happy-go-lucky, boomer do-gooderism may not be capturing the particular orientations of millennial and younger customers, especially on economic issues. The vision that they're selling can be a little frozen in time. The product is very high quality, of course. I'll never in my mind understand why they retired the key lime pie flavor some 15 years ago. I used to live in Texas where citrus flavors are popular, and I would avoid B&Js on hot days because heavy, salty, peanut buttery-type flavors never seemed to beat the heat. Citrus would almost certainly drive sales in these super hot southern cities. I mean, Atlanta ain't Burlington, climate wise. Bring back key lime pie, and I'll be there twice a week. read more

I was super excited when I passed by this location on an afternoon weekday walk, I had no idea it was here. I was like an excited teenage because I have so many good memories of Ben & Jerry's in Burbank, CA as a high school student. Well when I walked in I really didn't receive a warm welcome, it was a delayed greeting and the story was empty so no excuse. The associate wasn't the friendliest and didn't ask if we wanted to try anything, nada! I asked to try two different flavors and still no questions from the associate or additional information shared on the flavors I tried. I ordered a small scoop, we were rung up and that was it. There was also a strange odor in the store, I definitely missed the smell of waffle cones that you have at other ice cream shops. Overall it was just an average experience. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here for ice cream and I love Ben & Jerry's. read more

Parking: Limited parking in front of the store, but it was empty when we arrived so parking was easy COVID-19 Precautions: Sanitizer at the counter and masks required by employees and customers Selection: They were out of the Strawberry Cheesecake in both serve and packaged Cleanliness: Soooo I'm allergic to chocolate... but every single flavor is next to or enclosed in other flavors that are chocolate. With that being said... go to next section for customer service Another area for cleanliness... they have these plastic things around each container im guessing its to prevent cross contamination.... but they're not on properly so these are useless. Customer Service: remember I said all flavors are enclosed in chocolate or close to.... well usually I ask for them to get a new container, but the young lady seemed like I was being a bother and not really friendly and engaging that I was trying to get out as quickly as possible. read more

Went here for an afternoon snack with mom. The guys inside were patient because it took me forever to figure out what I wanted and that was appreciated.
