Absolutely AMAZING ice cream! Seriously the best ice cream i have ever had! I am an ice cream enthusiast everywhere i travel around the country! Unique variety of flavors. You can try before you buy. I loved the mini spoons they give for samples. Not plastic...actual mini silverware Customer service is top notch. Ice cream is OMG good! You will say that to yourself over and over! I sampled 2 flavors (wanted to try so many more but was happy with my 1st 2 choices) One portion is 2 scoops so you can mix it up if you want. Thats what i did. Scoop of Lemon Bar (which happens a o be dairy free but you CANNOT tell, so creamy) scoop of buttercream birthday cake in a sugar cone which i asked for a dish. Im still dreaming about the ice cream a day later. Want to have one more time before i go home.

I ALWAYS pass Jeni's and see a line... but I just assumed it was a regular-degular ice cream spot. I've got a serious sweet tooth, so I don't know how I kept passing on this place! I finally walked in to the Decatur square location. The parlor is quaintly decorated, clean and smells delicious! They make the waffle cones and bowls in house in front of you- nice touch. There's outdoor seating if you want to people-watch, and indoor seating too. The menu has lots of unique flavors just waiting to be devoured. You can sample anything, which is a big plus. They've got a nice rotation of seasonal options along with staple flavors. I went with Lemon Bar and Goat Milk with Cherries in a waffle bowl--for $9 and change. It was the perfect serving size: not too little, not too much. FYI--they also sell pints if you want to indulge at home.

My family is a big fan of Jeni's. They have their new summer flavors out. The ice cream flavors are unique and it is a special treat coming here. Husband got 2 scoops, toasted smores and salter peanut butter which he enjoyed. I typically pick up my Jeni's at local Kroger's which is $4 cheaper per pint ($12 here). but when ice cream calls, you gotta go! Staff is friendly and the place has not been crowded when we come on a Wednesday evening around 6:30 pm.

So they didn't have the traditional flavors like butter pecan, cookies and cream, etc. like I had expected but all good. I stopped in to treat myself after an unexpected workout and the young guy working there was so sweet. He was the only one there and took care of everyone. I ordered a half scoop of honey vanilla bean and half scoop of brown butter almond brittle. The brown butter almond brittle was sooo good! If they sale that flavor by the container, I will definitely go back and get it. There is plenty of seating inside. If you do go and don't have nut allergies, be sure to try the brown butter almond brittle.

Has a great selection of flavours that are not always typical in your ice cream shop Best flavours birthday cake, the sorbet and pistachio macaron! Always go back after a quick pint from brewdogs

Great selection of ice cream flavors where you can sample as many. There's several tables inside where you can enjoy your delicious ice cream. My service was quick, and they told me about their app where you could gain points! I personally enjoyed the sweet potato and praline of their fall flavors when I went.

Jeni's Ice Cream is a staple of Decatur. As soon as you step into the shop, an immediate smell of maple syrup of freshly made waffle cones hits you right in the face. It smells delicious. Their ice cream selection changes regularly, so make sure to come and taste them all. Which brings me to my next point... the staff is there to help.., but also, to let you sample all of the flavors you want. My favorite ice cream is the darkest chocolate flavor. Creamy and chocolaty. It is a classic flavor with a new twist. This month they have space flavors... the cosmic bloom is out of this world!

I came here with some friends for a quick sweet treat! I LOVE Jeni's but had never tried this location before. Parking was easy to find on the street in Decatur Square. There was a short line out the door, but it moved fairly quickly. We tried some of their seasonal flavors for summer and I loved each of our samples! We snagged a table inside to eat our ice cream and we loved how cute the inside was. Overall, cute location and will definitely come back if I'm in the Decatur area!

Loved the ice cream and the service. This place gets pretty packed at times. I came after 9 p.m. on a weeknight. Parking was free when I came but you will need to pay for parking if you come during the day. They are located in Decatur square so there is usually something else going on for the family. They have soccer goals set up and lots of tables for you to sit at. I'd come back here on a weekend with the kids and some friends. I like the variety of flavors and the special flavors. I had honey vanilla bean and it was so good.

Standard Cup - Darkest Chocolate Pint + Texas Sheet Cake (DF) Pint

Visiting Atlanta. First time coming to this Jeni's in (neighboring) Decatur. Said, "uh.. still trying it out" after a long delay of me doing nothing. The person behind the counter seemed a bit annoyed, which surprised me. Eventually understood I needed time to decide what I was doing / getting. I sampled about 3 flavors. Darkest chocolate, brown sugar almond brittle, and Texas sheet cake. Each time the young lady seemed (considerably more) annoyed bc I was giving long pauses in between, and seemed unsure of everything. Finally got asked to decide after a long delay, and I guess there was a line forming behind me. I don't understand why not just switch to them as I was just running around sampling flavors with naught a care in the world, but I guess it's whatever. The wording actually was like "You can get the standard cup, that's the smallest one. So you can try 2. So did you like the chocolate flavors of those ones?" So not too rude, but putting unduly pressure on me, so felt like I was being put on the spot the same. Like I say, it's all just whatever to me. I decided to go w/ the Standard Cup because that's what I felt like, I guess. Also their cheapest option looks like, though at 7$ plus taxes and (lack of) tip, I feel that's pushing it a bit. But whatever, it's my birth-week so I try to put on a not-altogether dark smile, and have a good(ish) time. So the Standard size, though I wasn't much feeling it I had that w/ the Darkest Chocolate & Texas Sheet Cake. Not really sure what/why I was doing what I was doing. I mean the flavors and/or taste weren't even halfway to the roof. And I had half of it, I guess I liked the Texas SC slightly more, but it was definitely a toss-up. I didn't really understand this Jeni's overall, TBH. So I walked a little bit outside in the narrow streets under the hot summer sun, or I tried to anyway. I didn't get far but till the central courtyard, then I realized I was dancing in the shade and worrying about that overmuch rather than relaxing or tasting whatever I'd gotten, so I abandoned that idea after a while. Headed back inside the store, grabbed a round marble table with a seat for two, then waited as someone else helped me finish the rest. Overall, great? Nah, not really. Would I come back again? Nope, not unless they paid me to. I guess ok spot, I feel like I'm down with Jeni's, but for some reason this location wasn't really my vibe, and I wasn't really feeling it. It is what it is, I s'pose.

Hands down one of the top ice cream experiences you'll ever try. It's a great setting for any mood: date, family, friends, craving, just because. They do not disappoint and are very fast with their service in a busy crowd! Next time I'm in the area, I will definitely return.

    Jessica G.

Best ice cream ever. And the waffle cones are better than any other place around. It's right in the Decatur square and so convenient to stop over and snag some goodness. Service is always so friendly and helpful and let you try out flavors without any attitude or judgement lol.

    Salty caramel and coffee
    Gretel Y.

I will always and forever scream for Jeni's. My girlfriends and I spent a day exploring downtown Decatur and couldn't have ended our day on a sweeter note. Saw that there was a Jeni's nearby and I just couldn't leave without getting a scoop or two! It didn't take much convincing to get my friend to come along. This location is right in the square. It's small, but there's indoor and some outdoor seating. Jeni's does a great job of hiring team members. The staff at all the Jeni's I've been to -- and I've been to a handful or more -- has always been pleasant and helpful. This location is no exception. They took their time with us and let us sample as many as we wanted. I may sample different flavors, but I always end up with my absolute favorite, salty caramel followed by coffee with cream and sugar. I can't put into words how amazing the ice cream is so you'll just have to trust me on this!

Love this little ice cream shop!…read more I've visited Butter & Cream before, but my latest visit was a favorite. After spending a sunny afternoon celebrating my besties birthday with her and a few of our girlfriends, we decided to keep the fun going with some ice cream. Never too old for a random sweet treat! Although we were already in the neighborhood, we lucked up on a day when everybody and their mama were outside, which meant limited parking. So we had to pay for parking on this visit, but ended up making it worthwhile by strolling around Decatur Square with our cones. I When we entered, there was one employee behind the counter and they were so kind. There were a few customers in front of us and some behind us in line, so apparently we weren't the only adults in the city who were craving a sweet treat. The store was so cute and covered in art and clocks created with ice cream scoops. We decided to taste a few flavors that were new to us and the employee was so patient with us. We all decided to go with the honeycomb flavor, and I added on a scoop of strawberry because I believe in treating myself. I was bummed that they didn't have sugar cones, but a waffle cone worked. My ice cream was SO good! And they were quite generous with the scoops. As I'm writing this out, I'm wanting a fresh pint of my own again. Such a great stop when you're craving something sweet!

From the moment we walked in, the variety of cereals on display was enough to make any cereal lover swoon. Pro tip: if you see it on the shelf, they've got it -- don't limit yourself to what's behind the counter. My fiancée found a Groupon (wallet win!), but honestly, I'd pay full price without hesitation -- it was that good. After sampling a few ice cream options, I went with the Oatmilk Cream Pie, which turns out is a staff favorite -- and I totally get why. For my cereal mix-in, I chose the Cookies and Cream Frosted Flakes (yes, you read that right ). We noticed they were running a little low on toppings -- we came later in the day -- but thankfully they weren't out of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. I topped mine with a drizzle of peanut butter, which threw me off at first because it was black in color (I thought it was chocolate!), but nope, it was peanut butter and it was delicious. We got our creations in handmade waffle cups, which added an extra layer of yum. It wasn't super busy, but our order still took a little while -- not a dealbreaker though, especially since it gave us time to snap a few photos. Parking nearby was only $3, so no complaints there. Can't wait to return and experiment with more combos! The Cereal Lab is a sweet spot I'll be recommending to everyone.

I mean there were young people outside screaming about shooting someone with their own gun.... hmm. Most of the restaurants (but not sweet stack) had an officer on duty which says a whole lot. The ambience once we entered was also pretty rough. Very sticky with a film over everything. This place needs a good cleaning. Customer service was virtually nonexistent even before we arrived; I had called beforehand to make sure they didn't mysteriously close early as many ATL spots tend to do, and the woman on the line sounded absolutely miserable that I even asked. That energy was felt firsthand inside. But I'll give them a fair rating because their brownie Sunday was good, and my husband enjoyed what he got as well. Good portions for the price.
