Loved this! Dropped in for a sweet treat after dinner and I'm glad I did! The ice cream was perfectly sweet and creamy. The service was fantastic- the worker immediately came out to help us and was super nice! I was a little bit shocked at the price (8 dollars for one scoop!!), but I was happy to pay it to support the company. I especially loved that they had a sign out front with their specials and what do you know? They had a first responders and educators discount! Everyone always leaves out teachers so this was a nice touch. It was a little loud inside but very, very clean! I used to really enjoy Ben & Jerry's, but it's certainly gone down hill over the years while their pricing has gone through the roof. We stopped in after having dinner in Friendly Center, there was a bit of a line with young kids running around the place like it was a playground. They only had one person on staff for an evening shift, and their was no true definition to where the line started. The interior is very crowded with a giant box built in the middle of the space, which i assume is used for storage. It leaves space for only a a couple of tables inside, but they do have a few outside as well. My wife and I ended up sharing a small cup of their ice-cream, with a scoop of The Tonight Dough (Caramel & Chocolate Ice Creams with Chocolate Cookie Swirls & Gobs of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough & Peanut Butter Cookie Dough.) and a scoop of Marshmallow sky (Marshmallow ice cream with marshmallow swirls & gobs of chocolate chip cookie dough & chocolate chocolate chip cookie dough). Both were tasty, but a small cup now costs $8, which is absolutely outrageous, considering how much ice-cream I could buy at the grocery store for $8. I'm not clear if it's just this location, because of high rent, or all, but I'm certain I will not be returning to this Ben & Jerrys in the future. read more

I don't think you can go wrong with this place. It's located in a busy shopping complex, and even though it doesn't house very many comfortable seating options inside, it is located next to great outdoor seating options with a tiny playground for kids. A great spot! We've always had good experience with the staff. They're happy to let us taste as many samples as we'd like, and are open to light conversations too. This time we got a brownie sundae with the brownies on the side. The size of the sundae was much bigger than I expected. And I hoped it would be in a bowl, but it was in a cup, that I thought was a little inconvenient. But other than that, it was a nice little, beat the heat treat! read more

Save your money and just get a pint from the grocery store. This location is so underwhelming. The layout is odd so the lobby gets congested quickly. The staff were friendly but not impressed with the hygiene habits. One of the ladies kept scratching her head between orders and then put on gloves instead of washing her hands. I don't eat a lot of ice cream but when I get a chocolate ice cream craving, chocolate fudge brownie is the answer! The inside is small but the outside sitting area is spacious. The staff were friendly. This is a such a cute shop. As you walk in take in their community board off to the left. They let you sample three flavors. I was sold on coffee. I decided on a cup, but my next visit, I am going to try a cone. Check out was easy and I chose to take my ice cream outside in the park area. They have a freezer with quart tubs of ice cream and ice cream cakes. Be mindful that the big glass doors in the back of the shop are closed and don't tamper with them. You can't ever go wrong with free ice cream. We free visited ben and Jerry's for their annual free cone day and it was bonkers. The line was insane but moved so quickly. The employees were patient yet quick and efficient all while being friendly. We tried a few different flavors and the lemonade along with churay for churros were the fan favorites. It was crazy though that they didn't have just plain vanilla especially as there were a lot of kids that only wanted vanilla but other than that I have no complaints. It was empty that day, so wasn't a very long wait. And it's nice how they have a few areas to sit inside or outdoors is great too! We opted to stay inside and enjoy our ice cream. But they were out of a lot of things. So that was very unfortunate. It wasn't just toppings, it was ice cream flavors and more. My first time at Ben & Jerry's was a delight. Kimberly, the general manager is one of the sweetest people I've ever met. She immediately greets you when you come in and is super energetic. You can tell she loves her job, and her customer service is unmatched! I sampled the churro ice cream and it was delicious I ended up buying a waffle cup. The waffles are so good and fresh that she makes it right when you order it. She let me try a new pumpkin-flavored waffle she just came up with and it was so good! I was shocked about the prices at first but I honestly think it's worth it! The quality and flavors of the ice cream are phenomenal. I will be back! read more

I arrived to pick up a cake on my daughter's 18th birthday at 5:30 pm. The cake was ordered to be ready by 5:00 pm on her birthday. The people in the shop said it wasn't frozen. I asked to see it and they said I couldn't. They said I could pick it up the next day. Unfortunately, we were leaving to go out of town the next day and I didn't need a birthday ice cream cake for the day after a birthday. The employees offered a single other cake as an option. It looked like it was leftover from Hanukkah with blue and white frosting and some sort of double chocolate inside. Regardless, it was not suitable and not what I ordered. They offered no other solution other than pints of ice cream as substitute for a cake. I asked for a refund as I quickly tried to locate another cake place on the phone. I had dinner getting cold in the car and a family at home waiting for my daughter's favorite food and her cake. While I was on the phone, a staff member told me he was unable to give me a refund and I would need to call the manager the next day. I ended up stopping at the grocery store to get a generic Carvel cake which was almost as disappointing as the cold dinner I brought home. Still, I did as I was told and left a message for the manager to call me back after they open. I then left two other messages over the following days. Like most adults, I work 9-5 and taking time to call an ice cream shop in the middle of the workday isn't always easy. Still, I needed to adjust to their schedule to finally reach someone. I called when they open at 12:00 pm and they again told me they could not refund my money because it was an online order. The guy sounded like the same guy. He took my number and said someone would call me. As of this posting, a week later, I've received no phone call. I don't have time to chase down a $30.00 purchase and I'm giving up. I can't decide if I'm more frustrated that this store screwed up my daughter's 18th birthday or that the staff who couldn't be bothered to do their job and the management team who couldn't be bothered to try and make it right never even apologized. I love Ben and Jerry's. I love their ice cream, their contributions to society, and their love and support of all human beings. I won't stop eating their goodness or supporting their business. I will never again shop the store at 3332 W. Friendly Avenue, The Shops at Friendly Center, Greensboro, NC,USA ,2741. So this happened today. I was at Whole Foods in friendly shopping center, and decided to shop for ice cream. I got the salted caramel blondie and toffee break flavored ice cream. Two scoops which looked more like one scoop. I paid almost $6 for this ice cream. Although it was delicious as usual, I couldn't remember as to why I haven't been in a while...but it became immediately clear once I was handed the kiddie size portion. Undoubtedly the best Ben & Jerry's location around here! This is largely because of its attractive outdoor seating and grassy terrace it's in. The storefront itself is very open and artsy. Relaxing here with an ice cream is picture-perfect for a family outing, a date, or just a place to chill after shopping around Friendly Center. So, after a few visits here I decided it was time to give a review. The facility is clean but small. There's great seating outside as long as it's not raining. They staff has always been great and knowledgeable plus there's a bonus if it's your birthday, just ask. I have one complaint but it really has nothing to do with the business per se. With every visit, it has been the same; The other patrons are rude, inconsiderate, and lack common decency. They jump in front of you, block your view of the content choices and won't say excuse me. Part of this may be due the size of the store but it's more on the people or their improperly taught kids. Each ice cream flavor I've tried has been good but my favorite is the Coconut Seven Layer Bar. As far as pricing goes, it's a little more than most UCD cream shops but this is Ben & Jerry's. read more

We recently moved to the area. There were two Ben & Jerry's in our old city. There was always an excellent selection at both, including sorbet and non-dairy options (even during the pandemic).
