Went to go hit up Milk Bar after my business lunch at Amaya inside The Cosmopolitan. There was only one person taking everyone's orders and making the drinks and retrieving the desserts, but the line, which wasn't too long, was moving fairly quickly. Although I was inside The Cosmo and just got out of a business lunch, I did decide to skip their cookies and ice cream and just have their coffee, because I don't eat sweets on a very regular basis anymore. The spiked milkshakes I had my eyes on, but unfortunately for me, I drove here. What caught my eye on the menu was their birthday cake latte, and so I went for that in a medium cup. Hey, it's someone's birthday somewhere, right? Just a heads up, even though it tastes exactly like a birthday cake, it doesn't come with sprinkles on the top or any of that other fun stuff. The person (super nice, btw) did inform me when I got my drink is that it would explode a little bit when I would put my straw inside of the cup. There are no seating areas with tables here, so I had to go elsewhere to set my drink down so I wouldn't spill my drink everywhere while I was standing. While the drink was amazing and not too sweet, it was also a tad expensive for a medium cup ($10 plus tip). Then again, it is The Strip, so expect things to be overtly expensive.
