Great little sweet treat!! They messed upour order which they quickly corrected so that's a plus. Got the chocolate pistachio cupcake and a strawberry cannoli both were really good!! I was so excited to visit. I loved watching cake boss!!! Carlo was born the same bomb year as my bestie and I who've been besties since we were 7! The bakery was adorable. His test kitchen was on display. All the employees were So helpful! Amber told us everything that was highly recommended and to try the tiramisu at the restaurant because it was even better than at the bakery. We popped in before our reservation. Then while we were waiting to get a bigger table, we decided to go back and just purchase our pastries before our dinner. We got so many. We tried the strawberry shortcake, a glazed doughnut, the pistachio cannoli, the cinnamon roll with cream cheese frosting and then we ate our tiramisu over at the restaurant that they served with ladyfingers. I got a bag. I love my bag so much. In the morning at our hotel is when we ate the rest of the pastries that were also delicious. I think my favorite was the strawberry shortcake for sure. CUSTOMER SERVICE. It's such a big part of the experience. We ordered a chai tea latte, and the lady at the register said, "Okay, well that's only water by the way." In which we responded saying we thought it was with milk. We want the latte, not just the tea. She said it was only water unless you say otherwise. So we asked for it with milk, and she asked if we wanted it sweetened. "However it normally comes," ..was a mistake on our end, because she said that the latte is only water, so we need to tell her if we want it sweetened or not. It's up to us...Like there is not a pre-set vanilla chai iced latte on that menu that we are both looking at???? We went to clarify that it was a "iced chai tea latte, that has almond milk and is sweetened with vanilla and has chai tea," and then she snapped at us and said she knows how to make one?????? After we got it, it came HOT! She offered to make it iced afterwards, however at that point, between the bad customer service, the understaffed bakery, and the busy ambiance - we didn't really care at that point, didn't want to deal with it, and honestly don't really want to come back at all. I got a strawberry matcha, which to my surprise was completely unsweetened, and not mentioned at all. Most people want to be able to stop by, get what they want, and go. They don't want to wait 30 minutes for 2 drinks (that get messed up) and stay in there any longer with the workers who are so incredibly unhappy there for some reason. Our 3 pastries that we got were good, but we'd love to try somewhere else next time. So so so sad it ended up not being as good of an experience as expected. read more

Tasted more like artificial strawberry, but I did see fresh strawberries in open kitchen. Good, but not great. Chocolate Peanut Butter...SO GOOD! I went for the crème brûlée pastry, and wow, creamy, crisp, and just the right amount of sweet. Service was fast, friendly, and efficient, even with the late-night rush of dessert seekers. We're definitely planning to swing by again during the day to catch a fuller spread and sample more of the goodies Buddy's famous for. The cannolis here taste great despite it not completely filled in. You can only find the filling on both ends but if you break it in half, there's a sizable gap in the middle. Again, despite that, it still tastes great. Is it worth the price? No, it's not. The thing is, what made this experience unacceptable is the staff member who worked here. She was not hospitable. We understand this place may get busy but when we went, it wasn't. We ordered the cannolis and simply asked for a receipt. I guess it annoyed her that we requested for one seeing that we didn't leave a tip. She rudely got the receipt for us. We just needed it to redeem more points since we're members of the hotel. The cannoli was good, not one of the best cannoli's I've had, but had a good crunchy shell, sweet and creamy filling with chocolate chips, and a subtle pistachio flavor. The tres leches and cookies and creme cake were baked well and saturated in flavorful milk. Both had good textures and were the perfect amount of sweet. The shop is pretty and we made a trip over to visit. They have two lines, one to order and one to pay. We jumped in line, looked a the beautiful pastries and deserts, gave our order (cinnamon roll, creme brulee pocket, macha tea and a black coffee) and were then asked to step into line two. We excitedly paid and then were told to stand to the side (where they would call our name, guess this means there is an unofficial third line). Here is where the problems start. They made our macha tea and left it to the side. We told the cashier the drink was ready and she responded that they are really busy (wtf) and did not move from the register that had no other patrons. After a few minutes they called our name for the pastries. We took them and asked for our drink ( still on the counter) and the coffee. She replied they will call when it was ready. We again advised it was ready and on the counter. Nope, not going to leave the safe haven of the register. At this point other people were asking what was going on and we all started laughing that the drink had been sitting there. We grabbed another employee and told them what was going on and if they could get our drinks. He was nice and said yes, brought the coffee and a new macha tea (because the other one was thrown away by another employee since the drink was just sitting there). We always get a few cannolis, chocolate dipped strawberries, and Italian butter cookies. All are delicious. We've also tried a chocolate cake slice and cupcake and I can't say I would buy them again. The cake had an unusual aftertaste as if simple syrup was drizzled on it to keep it moist and the cupcake frosting is very thick and also has an unusual aftertaste. We've been in luck the last few times as there hasn't been much of a line but you can expect one even though it does move quickly. read more

Lots of cakes and desserts are available in the cold cases, ready to be served, eaten at the premises, or packaged carefully for to go. Their huge kitchen/bakery is right next to the shop, where you can see how they make their products. Sometimes you can watch how a gigantic wedding cake is being decorated. It's a great place to experience how the bakery works! Service is quick and easy. Last time I ordered a Hazelnut LINZER Cookie. Unfortunately, it was very dry. I had difficulty eating it. The cashier saw me struggling with the pastry and offered me a glass of water. Regardless of the beautiful looking pastries, I had a bad experience. I didn't complain about it. First let me say I've been to this location a few times before. This time something was noticeably different. There were WAY LESS choices in the case. I waited in line, about 5 minutes. Honestly, pillsbury cookies that you get at Kroger are better.
