Phish Food: This flavor was born in 1997 and is named after a Vermont improvisational rock group. A portion of the royalties from the flavor goes toward environmental efforts in Vermont's Lake Champlain Watershed, which is great since our current government leadership doesn't seem to care about the environment. The pint's description is chocolate ice cream with gooey marshmallow swirls, caramel swirls, and fudge fish. When I first began digging through my pint I did not see much of the marshmallow swirls. After mining my way through the frozen treat, I finally found a fair amount. The chocolate ice cream is rich and is complemented nicely by a school of fudgy fish that have a flavor edging closer to dark chocolate. Chocolate lovers should be happily satisfied with this one. It's almost like a double chocolate fudge ice cream because there's so much chocolate ice cream & fudge fish as compared to the marshmallow and caramel. Speaking of caramel, the caramel swirls do take the flavor up a notch, but they could be more abundant. Caramel is one of my favorite flavors and the combination with the chocolate and fudge reminds me of a frozen candy bar. The marshmallow swirl has a sweet/cream-like flavor. It is not simply marshmallow flavored ice cream, but texturally it is something resembling actual marshmallows, like fluff, and I love it! The staff at Ben & Jerry's were incredibly helpful and patient as I deliberated over which flavor to choose (no easy feat, since I'm very indecisive!). They offered suggestions, let me sample a few flavors, and even made personalized recommendations. Their expertise and enthusiasm made the whole experience fun and stress-free! And then, the pièce de résistance: the ice cream! I ultimately opted for the Raspberry Cheesecake Ice Cream cone, and oh my, it was love at first bite! Creamy, dreamy, and utterly delicious, with a perfect balance of sweet and tart. The crunchy cone was the perfect finishing touch. I'm so glad I stopped by Ben & Jerry's! Friendly staff. You can find everybody sitting on the patio outside for the summer. The location is unique to its placement, and they have art displaying the local area. Treats are on par and the staff were superb. I noticed a lot of people coming to get online orders, I didn't know that was a thing for an ice cream spot. There were more people coming to get online orders than people staying to eat ice cream and it was packed to the brim for dine in ice cream. I surprisingly enjoyed the music/playlist, it was eclectic. I grooved every song that played, I ate inside and the music gave flavor to my dine in experience. Ben & Jerry's is and always will be the best and most consistent ice cream, in my opinion. I love stopping into the store for a quick scoop on a warm (or cold) night! The kids working behind the counter are always nice and willing to let you try as many flavors as you need (but if you're like me, you have a favorite flavor and they always have it). Personally, I love a scoop of Milk & Cookies in a cake cone, if you were curious :) There is not much seating inside, but there are a few tables outside once it warms up. The parking lot is often close to full since they share it with a lot of other businesses, but I rarely have issues finding a spot - it just may take a circle or two to find it. I have also found this is a great spot to find the vegan pints. Since Target only carries so many flavors, it can be a toss-up if you can find your favorite vegan flavor. This location always has a freezer stocked with Vegan (and non-vegan) pints and will have some of the harder-to-find flavors which I really appreciate. There are not many vegan flavors to be scooped, so having so many options to buy as a pint is win for my group of half lactose intolerant ladies! read more

I got there around 730pm so there was only 5 flavors left. Not sure if they had more flavors earlier on in the day. They had a DJ all night playing music. Tons of school kids coming from their afterschool sports. Once you get your ice cream, lake calhoun is right across the street if you are looking for a nice view/walk. I was in the neighborhood today, so decided to stop at Ben & Jerry's for an ice cream cone. I ordered a chocolate dipped sugar cone with Carmel nut swirl ice cream. Not sure if their freezers were broken or what, but the ice cream was so melted that she couldn't form a scoop that would stay on the cone. She filled the cone with as much mush as she could, then put another scoop of mush into a bowl and placed the cone upside down in the bowl! Wow. How have I never reviewed this place yet? Ben and Jerry's is so good. Located right by the lake, it is the perfect spot to get some ice cream on a nice summer day while walking around the lake. The ice cream here is amazing. Yes it is a chain ice cream place, but they have amazing flavors. I have tried so many types of ice creams here, and I can honestly not tell you what my favorite one is because I love them all. It can be pricy depending on what size you get, but you get what you pay for. The ice cream is high quality and that is what keeps me coming back for more! The service is great too. Recently, I've had to take a break from dairy. As an avid ice cream lover, I was devastated. However upon visiting Ben & Jerry's, I tried one of their non-dairy options: coconut almond fudge chip. At this point, I've tried quite a few vegan ice creams - but nothing compares to this flavor. It was absolutely amazing. Often, non dairy ice cream will be a little watery and less creamy, and sometimes an overpowering coconut taste that makes you wish you chose sorbet. But this time, I chose well. The trick here is probably the flavors that are only available in the store (scoop shop), but not in the grocery store. The last time I tried this amazing coconut 7-layer flavor, which is in store only. It was really good but a bit too sweet for me to finish all at once even just a small size. A major downfall, as Jen W. stated, is the price. How can you resist fresh Ben and Jerry's? I feel lucky to live so close to this location. It's rarely busy except on free cone day when there's a line into the adjacent parking lot. I typically go with a cup order because I make a mess if I try to be fancy with a cone. My favorite flavors are anything with chocolate or peanut butter. For example I wanted pistachios flavor for my husband but I had to buy the pint because they didn't have it in the freezer they scoop from to sell scoops of it. As soon as I ordered it I was being rung up at the register, but wait, I wasn't done ordering yet. I mean what if I wanted to buy one of everything at the store in some "Brewster Millions" type attempt to spend cash? I now felt like I was in some sort of strange contest with the employees, they wanted me out, I wanted to see how long I could hang around and keep them from texting their friends about the 'loser 34 year old dude in the store who was ordering chocoloate and peanut butter ice cream - as if!' Thought I'd give this place a 2nd chance. This ice cream was called Late Night Snack and was vanilla bean ice cream with salty Carmel swirls and fudge covered potato chip clusters. One thing that I've discovered is none of the flavors that I've tasted are overpowering, they are not strong enough to get a real feel for the treat.
