Patrick's has been my favorite pastry shop since Le Petite Marche (Patrick's). Everything tastes…read morebetter than it looks and they look excellent. The Sarah cake with it's pistachios, eclairs that aren't soggy, strawberry Napoleans, etc... The hardest part is choosing. I want to buy 20 but settle for 2. It is probably best that we don't live nearby or I would be here daily. The breads are amazing too. Lots of options plus sandwiches and entrees. Did I mention the desserts? Don't skip a dessert, or two, better three.

Megan, she made the inspired recipe & maybe it has that touch of love that makes all the ingredients a well balanced hum! When I popped into Patrick's Deli in Edina today and ordered their Roseberry Shakerato -- it was waiting for me (& you?) ... something special I didn't know I needed but it stood out. How can I not order a decaf Roseberry Shakerato? Made with decaf espresso, this beautiful shaken drink arrived in a tall glass with perfect layers and a luxurious foam (the photo really doesn't lie!). The star is that dreamy swirl of pink rose-and-raspberry whipped topping on top. It's creamy, fragrant, and -- most importantly -- genuinely not too sweet. The rose and berry accents are elegant and balanced, finished with rose petals and a touch of pink crumble petals for texture. Every sip felt like a little celebration: floral, jazzy, uplifting, and just plain joyful. This is sophisticated, refreshing, and fun all at once. Whether you're doing decaf like me or going full caffeine, Patrick's Deli has created something special here. I'll absolutely be back. If you're anywhere nearby, treat yourself. This drink is main-character felicity in a glass.

Information overload...are you ready?…read more Before our IVF transfer, which was a HUGE moment for us, at CCRM just across the way, we stopped into Rustica Bakery. We only had a few minutes to spare and thought, why not, let's treat ourselves. Best decision. The banana bread was hands down the best I've EVER had. I'm not exaggerating when I say I now feel like I need this in my life at least once a week....which is slightly dangerous. The space itself was busy, but there was still plenty of seating, and so many pastries and drinks to choose from. We had someone meeting us who was a little worried about parking, but there's a separate entrance (away from the mall) and plenty of spots, which makes it super easy. I'll be honest, the service didn't wow me, but the quality of the food more than made up for it, so it's still a five star experience in my book. Just something to know going in. Such a simple stop, and one we won't forget. It was the perfect moment before a really big one for us.

I haven't had Cheesecake Factory in probably 2 years! I miss it…read more I really liked Evelyn's Favorite Pasta and tuxedo cheesecake. The pasta was light, healthy tasting, and flavorful. The cheesecake had a good mix of cake, chocolate, and cheesecake. Both the entree and cheesecake took me 2 meals to finish, which I think was perfect for not over stuffing myself at once. The cheesecake did seem much smaller than before, so that stinks, but it's still delicious.

I ordered the variety egg roll plate. I was specifically asked if I had any allergies. I told the…read moreserver I'm allergic to shrimp. And she said okay I will let them know. They brought out my companions two orders before mine. And we waited. After quite a wait, the waiter came back and said that there was a mix-up and that one of the types of egg rolls was not available so is it okay if they substitute something one of the other egg rolls. I said sure no problem. Meanwhile I started eating one of my companions egg rolls while I was waiting. Eventually they brought a plate of egg rolls, said that they accidentally made too many so I was getting extra egg rolls. As I was about to eat one of those egg rolls the manager came over and said that the egg rolls were all cooked in the same fryer, including egg rolls with shrimp in them. Mind you, I had already eaten an egg roll off of my companions plate. They apologized up and down and up and down and then I ordered the Asian lettuce rolls. They were excellent but the whole time I'm eating them I'm wondering if I'm going to have a reaction so what I ate previously. I'm very disappointed that a restaurant that has been in operation for this long and has this many locations doesn't have a protocol for making sure that their kitchen keeps separate fry Vats for fish and non fish. Even Burger King had that rule when I worked there many years ago. So if you're Jewish I wouldn't go to Cheesecake Factory. If you are allergic to shellfish I would not go to Cheesecake Factory if you have any other food allergies I wouldn't go to Cheesecake Factory. No guarantee they're going to be able to provide food that you are able to eat without getting ill. However I will say that it was very clean and the server was fantastic. It was the kitchen that screwed up several times including one time that could have actually killed someone had my allergy been severe. And after all that, our food wasn't even comped. So, no thank you. I will not be returning and I don't recommend you eat there either.
