I've purposely expanded my options to improve my chances. But for two full years: silence. No updates, no available stock--even when I drop by the store countless times to check. Responding to my texts and calls has often been difficult. Frankly, I suspect those gestures were insincere--like they never intended to get me anything in the first place. Recently came in with one of my low-mid range watches ($2k+) from a brand they are an authorized retailer of. Explained that I had tried a battery change and that it had not worked. They suggested sending to their "watchmaker" for review, stating I'd get a quote within 5 or so days. After 12+ business days I had not heard back. Called into store and turns out not only was my watch sitting there, but their "watchmaker" tried a battery change and it didn't work. Duh! Isn't that what I already had told them? Best part - the watch was working. So the genius "watchmaker" said battery wasn't the issue, sent the watch back to the store - and it was working anyways. Can their "watchmaker" tell when a watch is ticking? Complete waste of time. They are incompetent, have no respect for your time, or nice watches. And clearly they don't have a "watchmaker" - it's a glorified battery changer. To top it off - got threatened by their rent a cop on the way out as I expressed my displeasure with the store's service. Do not go to this store looking for anything beyond a Casio! Can't say enough nice things about this place. Called within an hour of them closing to see if they would be able to adjust the band on my Yachtmaster, and the lady on the phone was super friendly and accommodating. Showed up 15 minutes before they were scheduled to close, and met the same lady in the store who took the watch, examined it, we sized my wrist, and then she went in the back to work on it. She came out a few minutes later with the extra links in a bag, and the watch fit perfectly. She did all of this complementary, but the entire time treated me the same as a customer who was spending tens of thousands on a watch. I purchased my wife's wedding ring at this location. This specific ring was special in so many ways, it was handed to me to put on her finger by a family member who is no longer with us, a week before our wedding as a surprise I had engraved on the inside band signed initials of her grandpa and grandma who couldn't make the trip, her grandpa had given me his blessing as they were the only living family left. After about 10 months she needed the white gold and diamonds band resized and shined the band had started to loose the luster, we brought it into the store location and had it checked, they suggested to my wife they needed to send off the ring to the original maker and have it shined and resized. They let us know the process should take around 2 weeks. We called at 2 weeks mark and were told that no package had arrived and they would let us know when it arrived, 2 more weeks went by and at this point I asked for the tracking they said they had, they would not disclose any information regarding the shipping. I called daily with no response for another 1 week. 1 1/2 months later I received a phone call from the store manager saying that my wife's wedding ring they lost it or it had been stolen in the mall and maybe it had been dropped off at Nordstrom next door because no one was available to sign for the deivery at their location that day. I frantically asked if they had the tracking info as I needed to file a police report, they wouldn't give me any info on the tracking numbers, saying this was not their fault or issue. Completely out of mind and emotions wrecked we ended up going to their store location when they had said 2 weeks later all was lost and to come down and they would replace the ring at no cost with equal or less value. My wife was in shock through the whole experience while looking for a replacement wedding ring, I could tell just it wasn't the same, she decided on a ring with similar qualities, I could see the sparkle wasn't in her eye looking at it. The store manager or owner never spoke to us more than a few seconds and we could tell wanted nothing to do with answering questions. We were left not able to speak to police as we had no info, we tried speaking to Nordstrom who Ben Bridge had said were last to have ring but they yelled at us. The Ben Bridge location managment was only interested in getting us out of the store that day with a replacement ring quick as could. During the visit they could see how distraught my wife was, they kept saying but she is getting a replacement and I would have to remind over and over to them of the things I wrote above which again were only a few reasons of greater sentiment that went along with original ring. They came from the back office and gave my wife a $250 gift card with a note saying they hoped this could help. I wish so many days in and out that I knew what my options were and what I should have or could have done. I will always remember and it won't be a good memory how all of you handled this situation. Before I drove nearly 40 miles to visit this store, I made sure Ping was working because I was specifically told by my close friends that a good sales associate can and will make a huge difference in my purchasing experience. Within the first few minutes, I felt so very comfortable as I have never felt at other Rolex stores. We had a nice conversation and she was so very helpful and friendly. When Ping explained to me what my watch was designed for and how it was supposed to be worn and how it would fit in to my daily life, etc., it really struck a different cord with me and I knew I had to have it.
