At the start of looking at engagement rings with my now fiancé, we went to Morgan's Jewelers first to get an idea of what designs she likes. We were intrigued on the idea of doing a custom designed ring and was introduced to Sophia, their in-house custom jewelry designer. Sophia was very friendly, creative, and communicative throughout the whole process to get the exact design that my fiancé wanted. Sophia was able to capture the features of the ring just by drawing on a piece of paper before creating a more detailed design using CAD software which really allowed us to get a realistic idea of what the ring would look like once completed. The whole process was very fun and straightforward. When the time comes, we are planning to go back to work with Sophia on custom wedding bands! Just came here to potentially make a very large purchase. The first thing that happened after I rang their security buzzer was that I got trapped in their entryway, and had to knock on the glass to get their attention for somebody inside to open the second set of doors so I could actually enter the showroom. Then I wandered around after being told somebody would see me in a moment, and quickly found the section I was looking for. I proceeded to stand around for several more minutes while multiple employees walked past me and made eye contact. Finally, after nobody helped me, I asked the last woman who came by without saying anything if she could kindly allow me to exit. Once again they rang me through the first set of doors, and I found myself trapped in their lobby a second time, having to get their attention again so I could actually leave. This store has very little new inventory but quite a selection when it comes to Pre-owned. Rumors have it that the owner put desire Rolex models in "Pre-owned" status to sell them for more, at grey market prices. This practice is a no no and I heard they will lose Rolex soon. If you walk into a Rolex boutique or many other authorized dealers, you'll be met with what is more akin to asking for a fillet minion from McDonalds, "We don't have anything to help you, please move on". Not here. My wife and I were new customers who had never been in the store and met with Dylan. He was patient as we shopped for a gift for my wife's graduation and had a long discussion on our similar taste in watches. He was a great sales person while still respecting our taste, showing us some of the other interesting jewelry in the store. Ultimately, we let Dylan know we were hoping to purchase an Oyster Perpetual 28mm in blue if one came in. We stayed in contact and he was responsive. When the time came for the watch, he gave me a call and I ran down. I got to meet the insanely sweet Tess, who helped me look at a few Breitlings as a potential gift for my father, and we chatted. I also had the pleasure of meeting Russ, the store owner, who was beyond kind and welcoming. I had a truly amazing experience at Morgan's Jewelers! What was originally just a 'stop in' during a busy, traffic heavy commute; turned into an amazing day. I had had my eye on a particular watch for the past 5 years since it was released. I often wear a 40 year old vintage version of that model, and I love the newer details Rolex made for the 50th anniversary model. Understanding the supply and demand issues with certain models; I had merely hoped to speak with a sales associate and put my name on a waitlist for my dream watch? It was not a surprise that they didn't have that watch on display, though they had a few other VERY popular models out, but they weren't the ones I want. After chatting with the wonderful salesperson Thess, she went back to see if they had any other nice models in the back to see. About 5 minutes later, she emerged with a shocking announcement- the owner had MY watch in their vault. I assumed it wasn't available, but just to look at. Thess smiled and said it's here today. My jaw dropped. There was no way I was going to leave the store that day without buying it. Everyone ( including the owner) were so helpful and pleasant. Very expensive and they try to show off with technicalities. I purchased my wedding band here but the engagement ring was purchased elsewhere. I brought both back to be sized. I called to get a quote and they wouldn't quote without seeing the rings. When I brought them in they put me through the ringer for 30 minutes taking everything but my vitals and bringing me to another room to view my own rings under the microscope. The wrote illegible markings on a paper and said "see, those are on your ring?!" I looked and couldn't see what they saw but agreed anyway. They said they did that so I'd be able to identify my ring when I picked it up and they'd do the same thing (microscope in a separate room). Finally they took my rings and said they'd call in 4-6 days (for sizing?!) and said BTW it'll be $250! I couldn't back out now so I left and waited for my call. I received a call days later and went to pick up my rings. I only gave my name and they handed me my rings and asked for a credit card. I did NOT get taken back to the microscope room to confirm they were my diamonds as they had promised would happen. Just my name and credit card and off I went with my $$$$ rings! I then noticed they were definitely not the size I ordered. When the employee helped me pick out a size days prior, she convinced me to go a size larger than I wanted in case my fingers swell. My rings barely fit now let alone if my fingers get swollen they'd be two sizes too small! Not my favorite place, wish I had a small private jeweler closer. read more
