Firstly, I just want to thank the entire team at Mark's Diamonds for the quality of customer service that they have provided to me and my fiancé. My fiancé customized my ring at Mark's Diamonds and it's so perfect. Secondly, I had to get my new ring resized and they did it in no time. Because they have a jeweler onsite this makes it easier for them to make repairs a lot quicker. I also had to have a quick repair done on the prong and they were able to do this with a quick turnaround also. Thirdly, I want to also shout-out their jeweler- I'm so happy with the custom ring that my fiancé made for me and the craftsmanship and quality of my ring is unmatched. And lastly, every person that I've worked with at Mark's Diamonds has been super nice and welcoming. I want to thank you all for that because I've definitely been in jewelry shops where that wasn't the case. When I came to the store, a woman was helping me behind the counter and was basically just weighing the silver. I'm not sure how this works, I am not knowledgeable in this area, but I thought that an antique set of something is likely to be valued beyond its raw metal weight. Such as a silver coin vs antique silver jewelry vs flatware. The item itself surely impacts value other than just the weight of silver? The rarity of an item, for example, would surely impact its value, right? I don't know, but they only seemed interested in weighing the items. They were VERY VERY PUSHY in getting me to sell the items. I just wanted to start with value and had to repeat myself over and over and over, this is the first time I'm looking into this, and I'm just interested in learning the value right now. It's like they did NOT listen to the words I said at all, which is extremely frustrating. Eventually, some older man joined in the conversation, and he was one of the rudest, most aggressive people. He didn't even come over to SEE what I had yet, and was already accusing me of "not believing him" for what he was going to give me as an estimated value (in the future). How could I not "believe" something I hadn't yet been told??? He gave me a price, and then when I said, for the 4th time, I wasn't selling and was in the early stages of understanding a value, he repeated back to me multiple times, "You'll be back to sell it to me". No, you don't know what I'll be doing, and you clearly are refusing to listen to what I am telling you. I also had some coins, and same thing, they just weighed the sliver. No interest in how rare they are or anything else. He was sure to point out damage on ONE but used the same valuation for both coins that were the same. So, if only one is damaged, why wouldn't the other be worth more? I don't know, this seemed off to me. Then, to be extra rude and careless, after they removed my very neatly stacked items in a very nice carrier, they just threw everything, unorganized and piled on top of each other, messily, back into the carrier. How are you in this line of work and don't understand how to treat other people's property? The way it came to you should be the same way it's returned. So, I sat and rearranged my items back in place since they clearly were not going to do so or have any respect for me or my property. I will not sell to this rude man, even if I did decide to sell it. I walked out feeling dirty and mistreated.

I was deceived by this company into losing a substantial amount of money on a ring return. Their…read moreactions were predatory at best, but may amount to theft. In May, I spoke to the sales team and purchased a ring knowing that it could be returned within 30 days for a full refund. In June, still within the return window, I bought a new ring and initiated a return of the first ring. For two days the support team provided conflicting instructions on how I should handle the return and ultimately instructed me to bring the ring in to their office later that week for a return. A month went by and no money had been refunded. I went to their office and they informed me that although the ring had been returned in new condition, I had returned it outside their 30 day return window and hence they would be delivering me only a partial return. I had initiated the return inside the window, but due to their changing and conflicting instructions--and no mention of a partial refund--did as I was asked and physically returned the ring later that week which landed outside their 30 day window. I am now out a substantial amount of money and the response from customer support is that they can't help me.

I went to pick up the bracelet and I didn't get my old clasp back. The staff acted like I was insane for wanting my gold clasp back and told me it was "baked into the price". I was told over a week ago they would try to get it back for me though it was likely "destroyed" by the jeweler but haven't heard a word from them. I've never had jewelry repaired or replaced before and not received my original items back. The ring I brought in for a quote and was a family heirloom. Due to a miscommunication, the jeweler did the work without getting my approval, not understanding I only wanted a quote at the moment. When the store called me to tell me what happened they told me it would be over $600. When I declined to pay that as I only wanted a quote, they called me back the next day and offered to "meet me in the middle" and I pay half. I again decline. Ultimately they did the right thing and didn't charge me. I do want to say the work done was beautiful but they kept the gold clasp from my bracelet and made changes to an heirloom piece of jewelry I wasn't yet ready to change without my approval. I will not be trusting them with any of my jewelry in the future.

We had opted to go with Gnat so I could get everything I wanted in a custom ring, so it was deeply disappointing to see the ring not made to the exact specifications discussed and shown via photos. When we brought this to Raz's attention, he initially said he would give us a quote to remake the ring - but he never followed through on that. Only after I reached out on a text chain that contained the photos I sent during the design process, he offered to remake the ring for free. However, when I gave my ring back for the remake, he held onto my ring for over a month and we only got movement once I pressed him. He had a couple of pieces in his showroom I loved and we designed my ring around those. Again Raz was great about working within my budget with no pressure to spend more.
