I ordered through DoorDash, as they are under the name Wild Wild Wings. The first time I received bone in wings instead of Boneless. I let it slide. This time, I called to make sure they'd be boneless. I was told no because the wings were made already, cool? Who cares? That's not what I ordered. The guy said that a girl named Grace, refused because the order from DoorDash didn't specify between bone in or boneless, cool, again, not my issue, fix your page on DoorDash. Benchwarmers did a really nice job for it being their first week. The wings are great. The fries are great. The beer is inexpensive at $3.50 to $4.50. They said they're going to be doubling their taps from 15 to 30. Anyone who wants a decent sports bar on the North side besides BW3 should try to support them. read more

Worst meal I've had in the year I have been living in Corvallis. I saw the bad reviews but had to experience it for myself. The wings are horrible, the T-bone steak dinner even worse. THAT SAID, it has a good selection of beers and a full bar and the atmosphere is a fun sports bar. So go there for a game and the beer, but don't expect a decent meal. read more

We really want to see this place succeed! They are still working out the kinks so be patient with them. Atmosphere is fantastic, service was excellent, Sunday football games were on point on their TVs, bloody Mary's were pretty good as well. They are still working on their menu it seems. We ordered their breakfast special which comes with scrambled eggs, crispy potatoes, and toast for a mere 5 bucks. You can add steak for 6, country fried steak for 5, or 4 pieces of bacon for 4. We added bacon to share. The food needs a little push in the right direction- my eggs were cold. Probably because they were plated on cold plates, a common mistake for new cooks. The potatoes were awesome, cooked well, and served hot. The toast was-toast, and could have used some jam but none was offered. We only were given 2 pieces of bacon but it was decent. So so menu, but definitely better prices for watching an entire game than going to a place like Buffalo Wild Wings. Major drawback is that their TVs weren't synced up for the Super Bowl, so we heard the touch downs from the other half of the bar 7 seconds before we ever saw them, kind of ruining the whole live sports bit, and couldn't hear the words for any of the Super Bowl commercials. Table service was great, but the manager didn't seem to comprehend why people might want to hear the game or have what they were hearing match what they were seeing, and they have no system for figuring out which remotes go to which televisions, so even when they try to help, they can't actually figure out how to turn the volume up. I'll still go there to watch the regular games that I don't care about hearing, but definitely will stay home to watch the Super Bowl next year. read more

When we asked them to warm them up they seemed like it was an inconvenience. They advertised a full Thanksgiving Buffet. Turkey, Ham, all the fixings plus deserts, We got a plate served with a slice of turkey loaf, potatoes, dressing and boiled green beans. No pie, Tasted like Banquet TV dinner. This for $10. Our family got holiday dinner screwed. We could have paid a few dollars more and gotten a real meal somewhere else. read more

RATS!!! As people. Not the animal, but that would have been preferable. Seriously don't go here, their menu is poorly written:organized and they use to steal money from you. Story below, tldr at the bottom. We come in around 4:30 pm and pick a table off to the side. A guy comes and takes our drink order and goes to grab them. The guy was nice and quick. Then our waitress comes about 3 minutes later. She asks for our drink order and is very surprised someone has already donee that. Around that time the guy comes back with our beer and waters. Alls well; just a little confusion. Then we all order burgers that come with "bottomless fries". The menu is very hard to read and doesnt explain that the burgers come without toppings and that the toppings are in a salad bar kind of thing (they're listed as make your own so I guess I should've walked around the place and figured it out). Anyways, then she asks us if we want crinkle cut fries or "sidewinder fries". Me, a curious little lad, orders the sidewinders. They're a house specialty and don't have a price increase so I say "hell, let's try it". It takes a normal to long amount of time, but we get our food. There was three of us and the fries were all the same even though we ordered differently. Internally I'm like "whatever, it's a mistake", but one weird thing is that the amount of fries we got was wildly different. I was kind of pumped for my "sidewinders" and didn't get them and my grandpa, who I brought with me, was given the equivalent of a McDs child order. We don't see our waitress again until the end while 4-6 employees stand around the empty restaurant talking to one another about sweet-nothings. Then she comes by and I say (word for word): "can I get more fries?". They *are* bottomless after all and since I gave my grandpa some of mine I wanted more. Seems reasonable. It takes 5-10 minutes and we get the infamous "sidewinders" brought to the table which turn out to just be potato wedges. I'm surprised to say the least and lost my prop-bet on which she would bring. Then our bill comes and my grandpa looks kind of upset so I ask him why. The charged us separate for "sidewinder" fries as a side even though they came with bottom fries and we didn't ask for "sidewinder" fries at the end. When she comes to pick up the check we ask her and she tells us that: 1. The sidewinders aren't included in the bottomless (not on the menu) 2. I should've been charged $1 extra for the sidewinders with the burger (not on the menu) 3. That she was sorry and wouldn't fix it (not right in the head) They're crooks who will be out of business within the year. Watch for this place to burn down for the insurance money. This is a good place to drink beer and watch sports they have several TVs and their beer prices are excellent. The staff are very nice and the people who go they are nice as well. But the food is overpriced for what you get and it appears to me that their mashed potatoes are instant potatoes rather than homemade. The chips and salsa are good and other appetizers. read more

Is there a zero star? Was looking forward to trying Benchwarmers out since we heard they had really good unique fries and food. Stopped by on Monday night around 7:30. Place was empty except with a few at the bar. We were the only table there. Ordered our food from their limited menu and asked for an additional side of fries. Once served, the food was cold...burgers, fish and chips, hot dog, pizza and fries. The fries were stringy, like what McDonald's serves, not the curly ones we had heard about. The burger tasted like a frozen cheap patty, the mini pizzas appeared to have pot pie crust with shredded cheese sprinkled on, tasted terrible. Another ordered bacon for their burger and they forgot it. Apologized and brought it out right away...it was the only hot food on the table. Needless to say, our high hopes faded real fast. We won't be back and will tell friends not to waste their time or money here. I'm assuming they will be closed by June. read more
