I have been eating at Benedict's about 5 times a week for the last month or so. I've tried almost everything on the menu and have not found anything that I don't like or would not order again. The staff is friendly and very efficient. Very short wait to get the food and they are very prompt at refilling drinks and making adjustments to the order. It's clean, it's friendly, the food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. Needless to say it's my go to place during the day. Highly recommended. read more

We go for breakfast or lunch at Benedict's at least twice a month. Very disappointed with visit this Sunday. Kitchen getting slower and slower. This time slow plus lunch arrived with no fries and no onion for the burger. Many minutes later still waiting, burger cold. Server brought red onion slice? Normally yellow is served with burger. Worst fries ever, all stuck together. read more

Attempted again to eat here after a previous bad visit. Only table empty was dirty so we asked a waitress standing next to us if she could get someone to clear the table. She gave us a dirty look rolled her eyes and walked away. This is my favorite breakfast place in florida for sure. My dogs were allowed to go in or outside and the place was clean and super friendly. The dogs get a bowl of water while you are there and no one looks judgy at you. The pancakes changed my life. I was never a pancake fan, i mean how much could they change? We were visiting Dunedin and looking for a great brunch recommendation on Yelp. Benedicts came up, so we went on Saturday, around 10:30am. The place was bustling and packed. We waited about 10 minutes and it was well worth the wait! They're known for their variety of eggs Benedict, but also their quiches and assortment of home made breads. Our food was done perfectly and was delicious. The prices were very good for the quality and amount of food we ordered--we ended up taking a box home for later. They've only been open since August of 2018, and since it was packed, they are definitely doing this right! Highly recommend! read more

I was very disappointed in my recent visit & how the employee was treated by the OWNER of the establishment. Do not blame YOUR mistakes on your employees who are trying to do right by your business. Moral goes a long way. Greed is very much apparent here. Will never return and will never recommend to my friends. You should be ashamed. Also, do everyone a favor and give your restaurant a good cleaning. The floors and general upkeep are actually disgusting I don't even understand how you could pass an inspection. & the two "look alikes" pretending to work -they hold up the wall exceptionally well, maybe you should blame them next time instead. read more

Disappointing! Lack of communication between waitstaff. Don't go here hungry!! We went here for breakfast because of the previous reviews. When we walked in we were greeted with a Seat Yourself sign. Ok so we sat at the only open tables which were by the bar area. Five minutes later a waitress comes by and tells us Michelle with be our waitress. Five minutes pass and waitress Jaclyn comes by and gives us menus and tells us Michelle will be our waitress??!!?? Ok. Five more minutes passes and Jaclyn comes by and says Michelle is too busy and she will be our waitress. Ok. She asks if we want something to drink so we order coffee and tea with 1% milk (dairy allergy). She brings them. Off she goes. No Milk. Finally comes back for our orders. We order omelets with sausage, rye toast and a English muffin. Waiting I see a open booth across the way as things are going slow for us here. I ask if we can move over to that booth, Jaclyn says no that the table needs to be bussed. Ok. When she brings the omelets, she says "I forgot your milk" not I'm sorry I forgot your milk let me get you another tea! I say uh huh. So we eat our omelets which were good. Stopped here for brunch while biking on the Pinellas Trail. The homemade quiche will literally melt in your mouth. It is the kind of spot where the locals all know eachother and the servers greet regulars with the affection of a family member. It was delicious, fast, and almost felt like home. This place is fantastic! There were 4 of us and everyone thoroughly enjoyed everything they ordered. Jenna was our server and she was excellent, speedy and polite. The multi-grain wheat bread they use makes the best toast I have ever had. The breakfast sandwiches are all super tasty. The place is new, clean and tidy, if you feel like a Bloody Mary, etc. you can sit at the bar, eat, drink and catch up on last nights scores from one of several TV's. This place has the BEST eggs Benedict and several types to choose from. We had the Benedict's Florentine and Crab Cake-both outstanding. Also be sure to leave room for the homemade breads, we had triple berry which was fantastic and they all looked delicious. We wanted to try the homemade quiche but we were too full. (Whole quinces and slices are available). The service was equally good, friendly and efficient. Clean restaurant, hard working staff, go early to get a table, no reservations. Worst experience for breakfast. Went about 1:00 pm on Sunday as a single. Waited for a table and was seated at a dirty table that wasn't cleaned for 10 minutes. Asked for decaf coffee and was told they were making a new pot-no coffee ever came. Ordered their specialty quiche. After 20 minutes no food although other tables that came after were served. Came here for breakfast the other day with my boyfriend and ordered the Veggie Skillet (mixed veggies, scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese & home fried potatoes). My boyfriend got scrambled eggs and corn beef hash. Just keep in mind when ordering food here, that the portions are even bigger than what I would consider a large dish. Not a great first impression at all. Being seated immediately was the only great thing about our first visit. We were seated and while my husband was immediately brought his decaf coffee, I didn't get my regular coffee until the breakfast was placed on the table. When we were seated, we weren't even provided silverware and I had to ask for it 3 times. My husband ended up using his plastic straw to stir the creamer in his coffee. The waitress said they were being rolled, but I saw plenty of silverware being distributed to everyone else. I even had to ask twice for my coffee. The food was brought out and while the omelet was luke warm everything else was cold. The waffle was so cold that the butter never even melted the whole time I was eating it. I'm just really disappointed about this place as I've heard such great things. We probably won't be back. read more

I always enjoyed breakfast at this restaurant, but this morning was very disappointed in the whole experience. To begin with, I asked the waitress what kind of quiche did they have today. Instead of telling me, she handed me a small card with the quiches listed, which I then read out loud for my companion's benefit. Isn't this the waitress's job? I ordered the artichoke quiche, and the crust was soggy. The melon pieces in the fruit cup were not ripe; the one strawberry was half white. Companion asked for no butter on toast; it came slathered in butter. Won't be coming back here any more. read more

My husband and I eat here regularly and love it. The owners are husband and wife who take a lot of pride in the little gem they have created here. The ambience is great as is the food. Practically everything is homemade and wonderfully fresh and delicious. Many locals frequent this place because they know they won't be disappointed. We LOVE this place! A hidden gem with awesome people and great food! I enjoy the corned beef hash benedict and my husband gets the omelets. We have NEVER been able to finish the omelets there because they are GINORMOUS! If you are really hungry when you get there, order some home made breads! Delicious! 5 stars for diner food but it's not a real 5 star restaurant. For a diner, The food and restaurant inside both are fresh and clean. Service was great.
