I used to come here regularly, but the last time I came in I had some new person do my brows and she ripped the skin off right above my lid. I filed a complaint and no one ever got back to me. Never spending any money at Ulta ever again. read more

This brow bar is inside the Ulta Store in Burbank; in the Empire Mall. Shahd saved my forehead from looking like the Very Hungry Caterpillar stuffed himself and parked above my eyebrows to die. I've gone to her three times now and am always pleasantly surprised how well she whips those unruly brows back into shape. Not only does she provide excellent service; but she's nice too...no reason to run around with Lon Cheney brows when you can get fast, reasonable service. If I could give negative stars I would. I walked in to just get my eye brows cleaned up a little, the two associates were just standing there talking and I asked if I could get my brows cleaned up a little. They gave a little snarky look and checked there appointment book and said they have one at 3. Then, I kid you not, if looks could kill I would be dead from the look the second lady was staring at me with. I just wanted to get my eye brows cleaned up and they just looked at me like "wtf are you even doing here" and we're really rude. I've worked in customer service management for years and I did not feel welcome at all and I will never do business with Ulta again for rudeness and unprofessionalism from their staff today. I actually made an appointment after reading the reviews here on yelp. It was really easy getting an appointment, I believe they squeezed me in last minute (Thank you!) and when I got there, I was greeted and was walked over to the brow bar. I only waited for 5 minutes as Cadat was finishing up with her previous client. Cadat was extremely friendly and very professional. She also made me feel very comfortable (as i'm always worried about going to someone new for my eyebrows). She reshaped them and also explained to me what shape would be best for me as well as how to keep the shape and fill them in (I have such thin/sparse brows). Got a brow wax at the Benefit brow bar recently and I was not impressed with Yvonne's work. Paid $22 for a rushed wax that left my brows uneven and didn't even get my brows filled in!! Since when doesn't the waxer not fill in your brows...especially at a Benefit brow bar?? I don't know if she had other appointments (didn't seem busy before or after I left Ulta) or just wasn't in the mood to work that day. Wouldn't go to her again. I've been to other Benefit bars and they've always given great service. read more

I had an awesome experience there today! After what I went through yesterday at the one in Macy's in the Burbank Town Center, I was hoping that it was just that Benefit and not all of them. I got in right away, the ladies took GREAT care of me, and even their makeup consultant was being super awesome to HIS customer. Love it!! So much fun to get false eyelashes applied! I could do this every day if my wallet approved! Bailey is great! I've used her twice. Marbet (not sure of the spelling) did mine the last time and she was great too. You can make an appointment in advance if you know you have a special event coming up. Great place for a quick facial waxing. You can call in advance to make an appointment, but I'm pretty sure you can also just walk-in. I would recommend making an appointment with Bailey if you can...she did an awesome job on my eyebrows! read more

Came in here after many bad eyebrow wax and thread jobs. My perfectly filled in arched brows were gone. Marbett was excellent in shaping my brows the correct way and showed me how to fill them in while they grow! (I'd never needed to fill in my brows before, so I was lost.) awesome!! I was in desperate NEED to get my eyebrows waxed. I wanted it waxed and not threaded. I looked everywhere but most places took appointments and they didn't have one available. I called Ulta and they were able to fit me in last minute. Yvonne did my brows. She's sweet and takes her time. This is my first time coming here. I'm usually very scared to go to new places to get my brows done but Yvonne knew what she was doing. Highly recommend this place & her :) she's very precise and gentle. I'm definitely a victim of horrible eyebrow experiences so I was definitely nervous coming into the benefit brow bar at Ulta. I mean these are my eyebrows and it's one of the first things people see when they look at you. Anyways, Marbett did a fantastic job and gave me a great shape with an arch which is what most people f* up . I should have written this a few months back when Cadat and Shahd saved my live. Seriously, these women are super heroes! I happened to get myself into a very tricky spot with a round brush. Now, I'm a full-blown adult and should have known better, but after a little encouragement from a friend I tried a plastic brush, and soon learned this was a terrible idea. It got so stuck I was certain I'd have to cut it out, and this was just a month before my wedding. Luckily, Cadat and Shahd came to my rescue when nearly every other Ulta employee literally avoided contact with me or laughed at my predicament! Cadat and Shahd saw me struggling from the other side of the store, and walked deliberately in my direction with a "we can fix this" attitude. They then very patiently extracted the brush from my hair, without pulling out more than one or two pieces! Anyone willing to spend half an hour doing something above and beyond their job description and without payment deserves a 10-star review. And I'm looking forward to hitting up the brow bar next time....but I'll skip the round brushes, thank-you-very-much! read more

First off - I am giving the 5 stars to Regina and Vanessa at the Brow Bar - they are both amazing and very friendly. They both do great work on mine and my daughter's brows - my daughter has some unruly brows, but they always do a great job getting them in shape again! I did however, have a HORRIBLE experience this week with Marbet - I scheduled an appt over the weekend for my daughter. She has a pretty hectic schedule this week so they offered a 6:40 appt, which I took since it was the only one that would work for us - we show up 10 minutes early, and Marbet is on her break (no big deal, we are early), she shows up at 6:40 and starts working on someone else and just looks at us and says "Nope, your appointment was at 6:00 and I'm leaving after this" I said, no, I had a 6:40, and she basically argued and said it wasn't and I was wrong. I'm sorry, pretty sure I wouldn't even know 6:40 was an appt time (kind of random) and I would NEVER have made a 6 pm appt since we could never have made it there. I get that mix ups happen - but she was so incredibly rude and unapologetic - I quickly went and made an appointment for another day with anyone BUT her. Lucky for us, we were able to make one the next day (again, at 6:40) with Vanessa, and she was great. I can't speak to Marbet's work, but I can tell you her customer service is horrific. And I know I would never let her touch my kid's brows after the way she spoke to us, so rude. Everyone else at this Ulta has always been SO nice, not sure what her deal is, but she shouldn't be around people if she dislikes them so much. read more

I use to come here, but the girls who are there now are always rude, there's no customer service skills. If you ask them anything about making an appointment they'll brush you off by throwing out a random time 5 hours from when you call or show up to make an appointment instead of asking you, "so is there another day you can come in? I can set an appointment then." No smiles, and never try to accommodate you. read more

Shahd was great. Not only did I get a FREE eyebrow waxing for my birthday, but just out of her kindness, she did a makeup for me (right before a big party I was going to)!
