Well, ive'd been an Ulta customers for like almost 6 years and I love buying most of my make up products here except over the weekend experience being in Ulta. It really sucks that I got allergic reactions after getting a formal make up. Really? It's really bad that I have to bring myself to a dermatologist which it cost me more hundreds. I don't recommend to get services in this place because either the make up that the stylist used to my face or the brushes that she probably didn't clean it or if she does clean it, probably using like an alcohol base to sanitize the brushes. This is my first time experiencing this kind of allergic reaction. I don't even think it's the food that I ate that cost me the reaction because it only occurs in my face. This is my 2nd time seeing Dakota. She has been amazing both times. I love my brows!!! I finally got to try the goof proof brow pencil and so far so good. The one downside is I tried making an appointment but nobody ever picked up the phone. The brow bar doesn't have its own line so you have to call Ulta and they'll either redirect or book for you. I was there last week. Nobody could help me they were to busy talking to coworkers. I'm waiting in line and not one but TWO different people cut in front. To be fair only one of the cutters were aware of cutting in line. Then when I spoke up, I look like a B€Tch so then I was treated with disgust. Only because it was a Monday did I continue with my purchase because my favorite beauty supply Aces Torrance on Hawthorne was closed. This was the last time I spend my money in this store. Can I leave zero stars? A week before Christmas my daughter and I went to this location instead of our usual. Huge mistake! I have my brows tweezed, both of my daughters have theirs waxed. We have been very regular clients at brow bar in Macy's Del Amo for a few years. As the woman was working on my daughter I remarked several times that she was turning VERY red and this was in no way typical. She gave every reason from the weather to dry skin. I have never had a problem at brow bar so I figured she new what she was talking about. As she was working on me I continued to glance over and comment that that was not right. She walked over and kept dabbing my daughters brow area with some solution. When I was done I took another look at my daughter and her SKIN WAS RIPPED OFF! As I didn't want to alarm my teenaged daughter I showed the woman who did it and said I need to leave now! She called her "manager" who strangely she said she didn't even know! I left in a hurry to get her home and treat the problem. She was unable to go anywhere for a week and still has red marks! No Christmas pictures this year! I have written to the company and at first they were very responsive. Now they have not said a word for a month and I'm considering legal action. STAY AWAY FROM HERE! read more

I recently went there for brow services and I normally go to the brow bar in Manhattan Beach, which is great! I came in thinking I would get the same type of service, but my brows were butchered. After months of shaping them and getting to the right thickness, this lady takes that all away. Not only is the shape weird, she trimmed the hairs horribly. Nothing even lines up. I am so mad. If I could give this zero stars I would. So dissatisfied with the service. read more

If I can give a zero review, I would give this location that rating. This place is understaffed all the freaking time. So expect to wait in line for a long time. Also, barely anyone can help you with anything. I called today for a stock check and long and behold, they can't help me cuz they're busy. Go to Nordstrom or to the direct websites of the products you need. The coupons do not justify the amount you save when customer service is sub-par. Ulta corporate, you need to send an undercover boss to this location. Horrible to the infinite power! read more

Since I can't leave any fewer stars than my previous review on their TERRIBLE customer service I am just going to add a little more information. Since my previous attempt at a visit there my sister went there to get her eyebrows waxed. She has been getting her eyebrows waxed at a different Benefit location for years with no reaction. The skin was ripped off her face. When asked about it the brow girl and manager explained it's called lifting, and brushed it off saying it's common and could be because the weather or dry skin. Since we have contacted Benefit who, after a month, had a representative get back to us saying that it's VERY common but that they also do not employ the staff at the BENEFIT brow bars so cannot take any responsibility. Next time you're looking for some where to get your eyebrows done keep in mind that this is VERY common for Benefit and they will offer you no apology or even take responsibility for it. read more

If I could give this a negative star I would. I went here because the regular person I go to at another benefit counter was not available. Whatever you do DO NOT let Sherri touch your eyebrows. I spent MONTHS trying to grow out my eyebrows only to have her take them all off. I have thick eyebrows and my eyebrows are pretty defined I just needed to clean them up, and I clearly told her I was letting them grow out in certain areas. When I looked in the mirror I was completely devastated. I can't believe someone would do what she did to someone's eyebrows. I have never in my life have had my eyebrows so thin so I have no idea where she would even find the shape to how she left them. I got it done 2 days ago and my eyebrows have been itching and breaking out since because I have never taken that hair off before. Whatever you do, do not go to Sherri. The worse experience I've ever had doing my eyebrows by far. read more
