I went tomorrow bar in Greenwich Ct until it closed. Then I started going to Rye. I met the manager and she was very helpful , welcoming, friendly. Love going here for brows and lash tint, and have been going to Rur NY at least a year. Since my first visit, it hasn't been the same. After that, I caught COVID there. More recently I went in, and the two ladies ( not owner or manager) didn't even say hello or offer help. Needless to say, I had called about 5 times and no one answered so decided to drive there. No one helped when I went in. I waited for one girl as she was with someone. After couple minutes later a loud group came in and they then got serviced quickly. I left ... poor customer service. I went in as a walk-in 3/29 as my brows really needed a trimming. I naturally have full and thick eyebrows and it's what I get the most compliments on besides my hair. I don't like how it can look when it is overgrowing though, and getting them waxed basically my whole life except the two occasional times I've went to a local mall threading station, I feel like they aren't getting treated with the right care. I'm very thankful I walked in to get a threading. The care that the staff puts into doing your brows are so pristine. Even though I live about 25 minutes away from here, coming here to do my eyebrows will be worth the trip. I haven't been here in a long time because Tracy no longer works there, and she is the only reason I enjoy coming here. But I recently met Tiffany, and all I can say is that she is incredible. I'm quite particular about how my brows are threaded. Tiffany listened to everything I asked for, and I'm thrilled with the results; the shape is great, the tint is excellent, and everything is fantastic! Tiffany is amazing! - 100% recommend. My only complain was that the other girls were unaware that the products in the store were on sale. Only Tiffany was aware of these deals (they even thought Tiffany had misinformed me), so they charged me full price and reimbursed me the difference once I showed them the sales on their websites and they finally looked it up. If you plan on shopping here, I recommend checking out their websites beforehand because most of the girls that work here will charge you full price for products that are on sale. read more

Other staff are nice as well but I'm noticing that it's been really "sellsy" lately. Noooo, I don't want an eye mask and I understand the times we are currently living in but this really ridiculous. I really needed to get my eyebrows done. I walked in and made an appointment for the following day. I ended up having my eyebrows tinted, eyelashes tinted and eyebrows waxed. Came here after reading the really good reviews about this place. It's right on the corner of Purchase St. & Smith St. Inside its really pretty with all the girly pinks and lavender. The staff was awesome. Upon entering literally the entire store greeted me. So nice! I read good reviews on both Nicole & Tracie but went with Tracie when I came in because Nicole was busy. Tracie has a very nice bubbly personality. Seems like she would be fun to hang out with. She definitely knows eyebrows. She measured mine and gave me her recommendation. My most recent visit on Friday was so disappointing. I've been here previously and had Traci and Nicole both do my brows and it was amazing. I booked an aesthetician who was available since they were both booked. I was greeted by the friendly women at the desk as usual very welcoming. When my aesthetician was ready for me and I told her to not change the shape just clean up the brows. Fast forward 45 seconds to 1 minute and she's done. That's it? Hands me a mirror and asks if I want aloe making it pretty clear it was time to get out of the chair. She didn't trim the brows, didn't ask if I wanted them filled in, basically waxed the stray hairs I could've gotten with my tweezers. I had to ask them to wax the middle because she didn't even touch them. Then quickly again tells me she's done rather than maybe inspecting if the brows were done. After that I was just so ready to leave because if I have to ask again for something and it is so easily brushed off I don't want to keep going at it. I was so unhappy my brows were not even symmetrical. Every visit they have always made sure to spend time on the eyebrow to make sure it looks the best it can. For $25 brows you really should put an effort into your client. I had to finish them off myself the best I could when I got home. read more

This doesn't even deserve one star, but I had to click something in order to post. Yesterday afternoon, my friend and I went to benefit in Rye to get our makeup done for her 30th birthday party. I would love to say that the application was flawless, however, I left spending $100 and looking like I dropped acid upon leaving. I've never dropped acid, but I assume that my cracked out appearance would have some similarities to someone coming down from a serious high. My lipstick barely covered my lips, but don't worry, it covered half my upper lip and teeth instead! My 5 year old niece could've done a better wined liner and my brows looked like the McDonald's arch. Last I checked, that wasn't a compliment. I'm not someone to to typically write this kind of review, but I left my makeup appointment, went home, washed my face and did my own makeup. Waste of time and money. read more

Walked out because they offered me a new appt an hour later. I guess it's fine, if they want to have a very strict policy they should let people know upfront! I was on my way to Purchase Street in Rye, NY with my family for lunch and while in the car, I looked into my car's sun visor mirror and realized how horrid my eyebrows looked. I have an 18 month old who sucked the beautifulness out of me (bahahahha) and I needed a little self-care. We parked right next to Benefit Boutique & I thought I'd try to see if I was lucky enough to score an appointment right after we ate lunch. The boutique was bustling & there was a little bit of a wait on line to ask the scheduler if there was available but it was quick & prompt. Smiles on all of the busy employees faces & more than willing to help with my request. They managed to fit me in at a great time that worked for me which really goes a long way! When I came back, I was welcomed and they had me sit down in a chair right away and I was introduced to The Wonderful Keanu! He knows his stuff & made me feel so comfortable and happy. He was knowledgeable and did everything he could to make my experience a pleasant and memorable one. He offered his amazing tips, advice & expertise. I am so happy with my brows and the way they look. This new mommy needed this BIG TIME. I walked out of Benefit looking & feeling great thanks to Keanu. Thank you. You get what you pay for!! Never seen my eyebrows more perfect and even! I used to go somewhere else but I wasn't 100% happy with the results. I know someone who works there and she said to give it a try, so I did! Best decision I ever made. They looked so good that my bf even goes there too now. And we now have monthly "Brow Bar Dates"! Lol It's definitely pricier but I just don't go as often (maybe once a month) I only recommend the Rye location, NOT the white plains one. We go to Traci, and get threading. I came by the store in hopes of a last minute wax before a wedding weekend. Upon my arrival, every staff member made me feel totally welcome. The manager was really sweet and accommodating- she told me to wait around and see if they can squeeze me in in between clients. Traci was able to wax my brows and after seeing the results of her other clients I decided to go with a tint. I kid you not when I say my eyebrows have never looked this good. Never write reviews, but had one of the worst experiences here. Bad customer service, unfriendly staff, and horrible eye brows. I was left bleeding, with cuts, a small break out, and way too thin brows. I asked if i could get some back up to cover up the redness, and after asking twice (because comments were made, etc.) makeup was applied via forceful finger jabs. Do not go. I went in with hopes of a great eyebrow wax but left with asymmetrical eyebrows! She did my right eyebrow perfectly but my left was thinner and with not much shape. Before someone says that they are not symmetrical they were when waxed appropriately. I use to go to Christine in Macy's Cross County - Benefit Brow Bar but sadly she left!! I never knew this store existed until a co worker told me about her experience there. I am soo glad that I went because it was so awesome!!!! The manager Eve was super sweet and gave me the grand old tour through the product line. I got a few things she recommended and I was so shocked by how awesome they really were that night, I went back the next day and stocked up on it like it was prep for the Zombie Apocalypse of dry skin. Love love love this place! I have always heard about Benefits Brow Bar and was so excited to find out that there was one in Rye! I got my eyebrows threaded and tinted during my visit to this store which cost around 45-50 for both but trust me its the best money you have ever spent! The girl who did my eyebrows is Nicole (there are two Nicoles, she is the tall Nicole) and she is so talented. The girls here are not your typical store girls who try to sell you ever type of service just to get your money. They only recommended services I could actually benefit from which really impressed me! Most places would have let me waste money on services that I wouldn't be thrilled with. A girl by the name of Melissa was also working and she was fabulous! She walked me through the services they offer and gave her recommendations on what I should do. I had an awful experience. I usually get my eyebrows done at benefit in Ulta but decided to try the Benefit in Rye with Nicole because she had great reviews and it was the worst decision EVER. She did not take her time, left my eyebrows thin, uneven and short. I asked her if threading or wax was better and she said wax because it was faster, I should of known then. I was really happy to stumble upon this Benefit boutique during a recent visit to Rye. The store has such a wide selection of Benefit's great products, and the girls working were incredibly knowledgeable and happy to help me try out the makeup. I made my first ever visit to Benefit Brows in April. As a mom it's rare that I treat myself and this time decided to do something nice. I made an appt. to get my brows shaped and tinted and arrived 10 minutes before my appt. It was completely empty inside except for the two employees. They didn't greet me and only addressed me once I walked up to the counter and once I was signed in the process began. It was very messy and she just slathered the tint on, and before the timer went off she wiped it off. My brows ended up being very uneven in color. Then she asked if I wanted to shape them and I said yes and she very quickly waxed them without any care. I felt like the character in white chicks once she handed me the mirror, I looked like f-in Shrek! Another client (without an appt, she said so herself) walks in and she completely abandons me without caring about how my eyebrows came out. I go to pay at the front and the other associate is like "how are you leaving your tip? cash or card?" Like do I even have an option to not tip?! Total waste of $41 and I would never in a million years recommend this place. I even contacted their corporate office and they showed the same attitude so it makes sense why their employees don't value their clients. read more
