The food was ok which was a downer. The experience was average s the cost. I won't be returning.

Came here on a Wednesday. We were in town for a tradeshow. About seven hungry people. Made reservations way shreds of time for 8pm. Ended up waiting for 30 minutes to be told it was going to be an hour or more till we get seated. We could have been told this earlier but communication was poor to start. Decided to leave for another spot nearby. We will definitely stay away from this place next time we are in town. read more

We had a 6:45pm reservation for us and our two kids. They made us wait over an hour until they sat us, and were rude the entire time. The place was a disaster, liked high schoolers were running the operation. People were all waiting out in the street for hours on end. Not sure how to start this one out. Customer service will depend on the day and how busy it is. If it's not busy it's good. If it's busy it's terrible. One of the days I visited one of the employees was sick. Constant coughing to the point of hacking. The employee was clearly sick. Send them home. We don't need any contamination. Some of the employees were very helpful to try to put out fires but it was to much. Customer service 3 stars. Food 1 star. This was the worst Benihana's I've been to. Chicken fried rice was I don't know what to call it. Bad. Not edible. Look at the sushi. I take partial blame. Why would you come here for the sushi? You wouldn't. But I tried it anyways. I couldn't finish. It wasn't fresh. Don't eat. You'll thank me later. Tried the mixed tempura. Was good. No complaints. Overall can't eat here. I can see the effort in some of the employees but the food quality needs to be looked into. See the reviews. Don't offer sushi if it's this bad of a quality. Look at my picture. My boyfriend and i decided to give this place a shot for a date night out and they did not disappoint! The young lady in the host stand was very sweet and welcoming. Our waiter (Chanrika) made everything very personal and made sure we got everything we needed in a timely manner. We had a great experience celebrating our daughter's 6th birthday with friends and family! Pat the manager made us feel like VIP, and even cut and served the cake we brought! Came back for the nostalgia and it did not disappoint! Same great service and the food was exactly what I remember. The chicken fried was a family favorite complimenting the hibachi steaks. Love that their portions haven't changed. The ice cream and hot green teas at the end of our meals was an added bonus. The place was filled with excited with young ones intrigued by the flying flames and the fancy knife work of the chefs. As long as the restaurant has been at this location it's nice to see the up keep, especially the carpet. Our server Masami was just pleasant. I don't recall anyone's drink ever being completely depleted and any condiments were quickly retrieved. I love my experience i am leaving very satisfied. My server was tory and 5 out of 5 stars.

4th visit and certainly the worst. (1) Chef spilled soy sauce all down my man's shirt, pants, and shoes. The manager was sitting at our table with his family. My man got compensated 1 beer for the messed up cloths and shoes!? (2) Chef was trying to be creative and do a different "show." They burned the fried rice and cross contaminated shrimp with beef and chicken. (3) The Hibachi grill was an absolute mess during the cooking. Rice grains were everywhere and distracting (4) They don't serve you all 6 courses unless you ask for each course. I had to ask for my green tea, I never got the sorbet, and I never got the shrimp appetizer. My man ordered the 6 course meal and didn't get his items either. The manager sat and ate at our table, and we still had issues. Clearly, management is okay with the current issues. I would not recommend this place. read more

My fiancé suggested Benihana because I had never done a hibachi grill. So she called at 4pm to make a reservation at their earliest time and they said that they only had 9:15pm open and they closed at 10pm. We had not ate dinner but we took it to explore downtown. We arrived at 9:15pm but we did not get seated until 9:40pm from there we waited until 10:40pm when the chef finally came out. Luckily we had drinks in between but we got to the point where we got tired of waiting and we had plans to stay in and eat. All I am saying is, if there is a reservation at 9:15 then make space for the chef at 9:15 to 9:45pm but for the chef to come at 10:40pm unacceptable.! We paid for what we had and left. On top of that, the manager said he had Only been there a 3 months and when we saw a couple walking out of Benihana's she said that he has been there for more than a year because they always go. For my first experience I give it a 0 not 1 star a 0 smh. Don't make reservations if your gonna take 3 hours for a meal! read more

Went here on 5/11/24. Had a reservation for 8:15 pm. Sat down to eat at 9:45 pm. After asking them what the point of the reservation was. Clearly they overbooked.
