The reason I'm giving it four stars is because I actually really did enjoy having hibachi in Houston because in Chicago my favorite place is Hamada's ! Texas doesn't really have good hibachi places even the Benihana's here is not great. I got the chicken dinner, which was really good. The only issue that I had was that it was a little bit cold. It should've been fresh and hot. So that really irked me. Pieces of my chicken were not warm. The vegetables were good and the rice itself is also really good The Yum Yum sauce I enjoyed I got the garlic noodle noodles and they were definitely a 10 out of 10. The four stars is specifically because like I said, I did enjoy the food. The price is great for the portions that you get. However, I'm gonna give three stars for the customer service. One star for the cleanliness of the place. Smelled like an old mop, especially in the bathroom smelled really bad. I ended up just sitting outside. There's no waitress so everything is about to go and you just eat at the tables. The wait time is pretty long However, I would definitely come back here. So I've been wanting to try stick talk since I see it when I get off of the bridge... and today I decided it's the day! Parking is really not the best since it sits on the corner and that means that you will fight to get out of your parking space if it's a lot of traffic around. There's also another lot for overflow parking across the street, which they do need it because there's only about 6-8 spots Infront of the restaurant. I walked in and it was clean, they have outdoor seating along with indoor and a bar. I ordered at the bar because there's no table service, which is fine to me. I ordered the seafood egg rolls for 12 dollars, the fried rice for 6 dollars, and veggies for 6 dollars as well. The fried rice was a bit salty to me because they used so much soy sauce, it also had a kick to it which was great. The rice was hard like it was a day old maybe but it wasn't too bad. The egg rolls were very cheesy, and to me took away from the taste of it. The veggies were very seasoned, but it's Cajun hibachi so that's expected. This was my first time here and won't be my last. The shrimp hibachi was great! I loved the crawfish rice and all the sautéed veggies. The buffalo wings were really good and sauced. This place used to be a staple for me but last night will probably be my last. They changed to more of a fast food restaurant vs an actual restaurant. You have to order in a line vs someone waiting on you, being served in meal prep containers and paying 70 dollars for two people for this style of restaurant is overpriced (2 meals 2 lemonades) I also feel like the preparation of the food changed because I got what I've gotten at least 5 times - ribeye and crawfish. My sister invited me to lunch to try Stick Talk Cajun Hibachi; she's a repeat customer. If you are expecting a typical hibachi grill experience (food prepared hibachi style at your table) note, this is not that type of eatery. The establishment and bathrooms were clean, there are enough tables inside to seat about 20-25 customers and there's an outside area which is like a converted garage (space for around 25-30). We sat outside because the inside was very cold. However, on a Saturday afternoon they had a decent number of customers, we did have to wait a bit to order but the food came out fairly quickly (10-15 minutes max). I ordered the Double Up Combo with Shrimp & Salmon (extra $3) noodles and veggies and Spicy Cajun Garlic sauce. For the price of $33 for the combo it was a good portion size, I was able to bring home leftovers. They also serve desserts, soda, and alcoholic beverages such as frozen drinks. As for the flavor, it wasn't as Cajun as I was hoping for, but it was a good meal. My only drawback is when I think of hibachi I would expect my veggies to look as if they were seared/grilled, however, they were perfectly cooked. I live in The Woodlands and this location was 50 minutes away, so I wouldn't say I would frequent this location but if I'm in that area I wouldn't mind stopping in to try other items.
