This small restaurant is located at the Marina and offered me a relaxing place for lunch a couple of weeks ago. They have inside seating with a full bar along with some outside sidewalk seating with plant vegetation providing some seclusion. I ordered the linguini aglio e olio for $270 mxn. Along with a sliced fresh bread tray the entree arrived in less than 15 minutes. The bowl had salmon chunks, garlic, olive oil, peppers and capers over linguini. It was an attractive looking lunch and tasted very good too. The delicious salmon, garlic and pasta all came together. I would order it again. Table service was very good too. Stumbled upon this place accidentally and let my nose show me the way. Located walking distance from the Marriott and right next to the marina. First off you can sit inside or outside and they have it spaced really nicely for covid. Our server Pearla was amazing. I was pretty overwhelmed with the menu and she guided me in the perfect direction. They have sandwiches which come with 4 different bread options and 10 different options for dipping sauces. (4 sauces come with the sandwich).. my kinda place! The sandwich comes on a cutting board and is HUGE! Plenty even for the biggest eaters! I ordered pasta with salmon, capers, and roasted red onion. So good! We order some roasted vegetables to give us some balance. Those I'd probably skip. The table bread was off the hook. Came out warm, sliced, and individually toasted . Dipped that in the pesto and it was a dream come true. They bring out oil and vinegar with the table bread if you made the mistake of not ordering one of their sandwiches. The ambiance is really nice. Tastefully decorated with down tempo music. Going there for breakfast in the morning! Breakfast is from 10a-12p. Almost forgot the best part! Total bill was $22... USD for dinner! Would have spent three times that amount in the US. read more

We were referred by friends to go here and it didn't disappoint! We had the crostini app and it had all the right flavors. Also the caprese salad was quite nice as well. The lasagna bolognese was yummy! The orecchiette al funghi was good but lacked flavor. Needed garlic, maybe some pepper flakes too imo. The margarita was perfect but my espresso martini looked pretty but had 0 alcohol, tasted like espresso only, no vodka, no kahlua. But overall a definite keeper! Had Thanksiving dinner here on Thursday and everything was delicious! We had the calamari, caprese salad, pear salad, eggplant parmesan, lasagna, and penne to share. It's small and unassuming, but the food was wonderful! My daughter loved the tiramisu!! My only critique for them is to work on timing with the service. Everything came out at once (appetizers, salads, entrees) and my dish was missed so it came out extra late. If they can iron out these little snags, it's a perfect place for both a casual meal or a romantic night out. I would recommend sitting outside if possible because the live music can feel really loud in such a small space. read more

I've been coming here since they opened several years back even their prior location! Food has always been awesome and only gotten better as the menu has evolved over the years! The indoor seating area is always tastefully decorated. The full bar is always stocked! And Benitto himself is as cool as they come! We were getting coffee from up the block when we saw Benitto's and thought it looked cute. We stopped for breakfast and have been back every day since then! The portions are human, you never leave feeling overstuffed. So far we've tried the frittata (light and savory with crispy edges!) the waffles, French toast (our son has had that twice!) fresh juices and smoothies, eggs Benedict, croque madam, (the sauce is terrific!) and the Huevos rancheros (the eggs were cooked perfectly). And that's just breakfast! Today we tried the lunch. The lunch menu is huge! I had the quinoa salad which was wholesome but a shade bland. My husband had a sandwich and that sandwich is the thing that finally prompted me to write this review. It was perfection! The ciabatta was so light and flaky, the meat lightly warmed and there was just the right amount of crunchy lettuce and tangy vinaigrette. He offered me a bite and I ate the whole half! Did I mention that the prices are very reasonable? We are thinking of coming back tonight to try the lasagne. Definitely give Benitto's a go. We are fans for sure. read more

Stumbled upon this place the other night and so glad I did! I just had the crostini appetizer and a couple glasses wine. It was soooo good...similar to Bruschetta, but much better! One had eggplant and goat cheese, one with blue cheese, yummy!!! It was perfect fo my meal alone! read more

This place is operating perfectly in all ways. It's a gorgeous room, cute patio area, perfect servers, great drinks, and wonderful Italian food. I had the fettuccine Bolognese which was great and my wife had the lasagna which was one of the best ever. We regretted we didn't have room for dessert as they all looked wonderful. We happened to find this place while on vacation and it was fabulous. We had the quinoa salad, minestrone soup, crostinis, veg panini, and penne pasta. Everything was excellent. To top it off the service we received from Antonio was impeccable right from the beginning to the end. He even helped direct us to a grocery store at the end which was invaluable.
