Wow when I started looking for someone on the dreadful days following my dog Rain getting sick I never thought letting her go would be as comforting as it was. I must say ... in the end I'm more traumatized by seeing my dog struggling and in pain than I was letting her go that day. I just found his website! Dr Rosnick took care of the end of life euthanasia for beloved Moose 2 1/2 years ago. He was very professional, caring, & incredibly gentle with our Moose, carefully and thoughtfully explaining the whole process. Our dog passed peacefully with belly full of his favorite food and in no pain. Dr. Rosnick and his assistant took his body away and his ashes were returned in a nice wooden box with a paw print. I found Dr. Rosnick by chance on the internet. I had no idea that such a service existed. All I knew is that I wanted my dog to be with me until she couldn't be and I wanted her to have an easy transition. The first phone call I had with the Dr put me at ease because he was so calm, and reassuring and more than anything, not pushy. He's no salesman! If anything he will hold back until you are truly ready to put your animal to sleep. I called him at least 4 times- and cancelled 4 times. TRUTH! Eventually, he did come over and explained the process to me and was very gentle with my dog. That was less than 3 years ago. Two months ago, it was time for my other dog to make the transition. I kid you not, I called him 3 times, and changed my mind 3 times. But, when I truly knew it was time, Dr. Rosnick made himself available and I might add on VERY SHORT NOTICE. LISTEN UP- Dr. Rosnick made it clear that in the long run it's better to let your animal go a few days early than a few days, weeks late! At the time, this didn't make much sense to me because I wanted my dog in my arms as long as possible, but I vowed to NEVER let her suffer- and because of Dr. Rosnick I didn't. He came over around 9:30 or 10:00pm. I don't know exactly what his hours are- but he felt it was important to get to me that night because I would have waited until the next day. (that would have been miserable for my dog and myself) I'm a wreck over the loss of my second dog and now I'm dogless. Now that enough time has passed, I can post a review without crying. De Rosnick was AMAZING. I had tried desperately to get a hold of another mobile vet who straight up declined my call, during his listed business hours. So I did another search and found Dr. Rosnick. My call went to voicemail, but within minutes he texted me to let me know he was on another call and would call me back shortly. He called me back within 15 minutes and we discussed that I had to euthanize my best friend of 13 years. He told me that he would be able to arrive around 10pm, well past his listed hours of operation. He arrived, and was so calm and caring towards my baby girl. He talked us through the whole process in such a soothing and empathetic tone. It was my first time doing an at-home euthanasia, and I will never again put my sick fur babies through the stress of transporting them to the vet or the stress of having to be at a cold and impersonal vets office for their last moments. It's never easy to lose a pet, but having a mobile vet, specifically Dr. Rosnick, who can come in professionally and with heart, is something that makes me so grateful that her last moments were as loving and stress-free as possible. It's been some time since Dr. Rosnick helped us say goodbye to our labrador. Unfortunately we have had to have a vet come to the house twice now and Dr. Rosnick made the experience so much less painful than the other vet. Just had in home pet euthanasia for my 16 year old girl. It was the hardest thing I have ever done. When I booked an appointment it was set up at the last minute and confirmed in under five minutes. They told us he would do the process on our time, and it was clear he really meant it. He took time to make sure we and our other pup was comfortable with him and what would happen. It was one of the worst days of my life but he held space through every moment and was full of comforting words of compassion. He even let us hold a short ceremonial funeral after her passing. Above and beyond. I had to put my little soul buddy, Marley, down last month in August - like everyone else- it was THEE HARDEST thing I've ever had to choose. It's a wound that will never completely heal. With that said, Dr. Ben made that whole experience bearable.
