Been a while since I have been in here. Quite a let down. Tables felt a bit sticky when we sat down, even though I watched them be wiped down. Service was friendly but pretty slow. I expect when the sign up front says "Please sear yourself" it shouldn't take over 15 minutes to hear from someone, especially when they were not very busy. The pizza is still fairly good but REALLY has gone up in price. And side stuff like garlic bread has gone up like 250% in price, while not tasting as good. No requests to refill drinks, ever. I brought in an adult softball team, family and friends. Started as 15 people, turned into 30 plus last minute. Baily was the only server and Zac was the only cook on duty. We were concerned that we would overwhelm them. Just the opposite! By FAR the best service and our food was delivered quickly, hot and fresh. The best pizza and sandwiches in town! This place had been recommended by a friend whose daughter lives in the South Hills. While visiting our daughter we asked if she had been here after 4 years of living in Spokane and just a few miles away from where she lives but she said she hadn't. It was a great opportunity to give it a try. It was rather late in the afternoon. Upon arriving only 1 other table was occupied. We were wondering if we made a good choice. Our server was friendly and helpful. We decided to not over eat as dinner was just a few hours away. We did the larger pizza and decided to do 1/2 Greek and 1/2 Maui something. The pizza was amazing. Usually a great place for pizza but I was sorely disappointed by my 12/27 experience. I ordered ahead to have it delivered at 5:30pm. It arrived at 6:12, and the pizza was not remotely warm. The garlic cheese sticks looked like they had been sat on AND they sent the wrong dipping sauce. See attached photo for what I mean. That was a sad excuse for a $30 meal. When I called the store to ask how much longer it will be (at 6:10, 40 minutes after it was scheduled to be delivered) the man I spoke with was very rude. He said "well you know it takes at least 45 minutes to get a pizza cooked and out for delivery". Well, what's the point of scheduling ahead then? Bennidito's on the hill is my favorite (treat yourself, birthday, etc... go to). I love their pizza I always get the Boulevard which is loaded with fresh veggies and a variety of sausage and meat to die for. The dough is fired perfectly and not too thick. The cheese has a delightful hint of fresh basil too. I have never had anything but an excellent meal and best pizza ever experience here. Yes! I am hooked. The wait staff is so personable too - local folks (i.e. Bryan) who are outgoing and on the ball with service. Pizza crust is on point. Crisp yet soft a chewy. The pizza bread is a must. The only change I'd make us to slice them skinnier. Easier for dipping. Husband and I both got sandwiches. The chicken pesto was delicious. I love pesto, so would have loved more of it and less mayo. The Italian BLT was great. Pancetta instead of regular bacon. Gave this sandwich a wonderful flavor. We picked up the meat primo which is basically piled with a bunch a meat... pretty obvious ‍ it was pretty good! The pizza had lots of toppings on it and cooked nicely. I usually eat half the pizza (don't judge) but I was pretty satisfied after 2 slices. They are a bit more pricey in comparison to other places but I'm willing to pay for a legit pizza that can get the job done. This brewpub seems to be the gentrification icing on the cake! Only lousy part is the brewpub parking lot has about 3 stalls--there's plenty of street parking along E Sprague. Order the meat supreme and you'll have the meat sweats after the second large slice. I bet each slice weighs about a pound and worth every artery clogging bite. They make their own beers in house and the tap list is fairly diverse. Great service and friendly smiles. I love me some bennidito's pizza, its big, fresh, a good value for fresh ingredient pizza. The service is prompt and friendly and their house amber lager is tasty. If you're a fan of thicker crust than all the wood fired places are doing you will love it here. Per my personal taste, if you like your pizza and all of the ingredients well cooked, i would ask them to go light on the toppings for something like a supreme or veggie pizza. Veggies need to either be chopped smaller or cooked longer to soften, and this place likes stacking the pies high with toppings, which can lead to crunchy textures. Fine if you like that, me not so much. A pepperoni pizza with light onions and mushrooms is a go to for me here. You're gonna love it. read more

Reasons to go to Benneditos Brew Pub: Larger than their S. Hill location and closer to Downtown. (Just cruise down Sprague toward the Tin Roof and you will see it). Much more comfortable for large groups! Charming patio with a chalk board for kid's (or adults) to draw on (head left when you enter the brewery). I don't even want to tell you about this patio because I want to keep it secret for myself, but it is my duty. Their beer is brewed on site so you aren't contributing to smog and stuff with the transport of your libations. Drink local! Beer buddies. Duh! Low key! So, don't go expecting wait staff to hover over you. They will check in, but it is casual. You could probably go here without shoes/shirt and it would be okay. They are that chill. read more

Can't beat it - a minute from downtown, easy and free parking, hip contemporary vibe, low key friendly staff and clientele, great beer selection... OH. AND pizzas are the bomb (kinda key for a pizza place;) Today I stopped in for a quick pint and - such a deal! A pint and a slice of pizza for $7.25. While making the rounds on the Inland NW Ale Trail map, we hit this place because it combines the holy combination of pizza and beer. Neither left us disappointed, but what really got our attention were the Beer Buddies. These delightful little balls of cheesy-garlicky-buttery goodness come with pesto ranch and marinara for dipping (the pesto is the winner there), and they are filling, delicious, and the portion is so large that you can continue the goodness at home. The pizza was not quite as good as the Beer Buddies, but it wasn't anything to scoff at either. There were so many pizza options that it was hard to make a decision, which is glorious for vegetarians because it seems like creative combinations can be limited for us at many places. (And "create your own" pizzas always end up more expensive than pre-designed goodness.) Finally, the beer was on par. I had a Kolsch, he had a Hef, and both were delicious. They were not too hoppy and absolutely drinkable, especially on a warm afternoon. This is without a doubt a place we will return to. It looks like a decent place to catch games, too. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that they seemed a little understaffed, so there was a lot of waiting involved. This was only a problem because we arrived very hungry (possibly a little hangry, but I kept myself in check). I am not sure how the service would be on a really busy evening. read more

I've been driving by Bennidito's for a few months and been curious! We went the to check it out and to watch March Madness. The environment was chill, great service, good selection or beer and food. The only problem was pizza dough was bland, the toppings were good and it was cooked right but the dough didn't do it for me. It's a bummer because I was thinking "this could be my new favorite spot" but then I got to the end of my first piece of pizza and now I don't know. Okay spot, but not a destination. Da' Wife loves their Antipasta, and frankly, I wish she could duplicate it at home, saving us a trip here every two years for it. Beer Buddies took up stomach space, were served at room temp, and were flavorless without using accompanying sauces. Pizza was not as good as the last time we were here. I've seen/read about places that are doing this, but it seems kitchens are now using par-cooked pies, throwing on fresh toppings and running it though the conveyor pizza oven. If you eat your pizza at more than a zero percent angle, it all falls off the slice. If this is the new norm, I'm not diggin' it. I can't indict this place for sure, because I didn't watch them make it, but the pic doesn't lie--and neither did my plate that had all the toppings on it. Also, expect to wait extra for your food. Everyone in there had this, 'where the heck is my pizza?' look on their faces for the first 20 minutes we were in there. Our waiter was as helpful as he could have been taking care of the whole floor, until one of the cooks (I think) came out to help. Recommend by coworker. Visited on a Friday around 12 pm. Place was very busy And appeared to be understaffed. Got tired of waiting and hubby went and ordered from bar tender who was also doing multiple jobs at once. Staff was obviously stresses out. Now for the good stuff. Pizza and beer were excellent, meat primo I believe is what we had. Waitress was extremely apologetic abou t the long wait etc. I understand it's not the staffs fault . I live close and I've been here probably 20 times since opening. Nice large dining room, 12 chair bar, and super cozy outdoor eating area. (No smoking). 80s music rocking most days. Staff has been mostly the same folks since opening and they are always friendly and timely. The beer is brewed in house. Also offered are some great guest taps. I love the Tin Roof IPA. Pizza is their specialty, quite delicious, and offered in over 20 varieties. I also love the salads...yum. Antipasto is my favorite. Thanks for the great food and service!!!!! read more

I love this Bennidito's location! It is definitely more spacious than the south hill sister store. The service was surprisingly fast as friendly even though there looked to be only two employees managing the place. The rotating cider was a Schilling grapefruit, a different but pleasant drink. All pizzas are 15 inch pies. As a family of 4 you'd either have to get two pies or a pie and some of their delicious beer buddies to ensure everyone is full. Make sure you order some of their creamy pesto for dipping, you won't be disappointed. read more
