Not good if you're vegan. We got the Alternative Veggie pizza (which is vegan) and the veggies came piled high on top. This initially looked great, but the veggies are cut in pretty large pieces and the crust is not very thick, so a lot of the toppings fell off when we were eating. I'm a fan of the cornmeal on the crust, but the center of the crust got a little soggy as it sat. I've had better cheese-free pizza from Blaze and Domino's. I was also informed by our waiter that none of their breads/breadsticks are vegan because there's butter in the dough, which was disappointing. My friend got an order of Beer Buddies and they looked yummy (but smothered in butter and parmesan cheese). read more

We stopped by Beneditos for dinner as we have done many times, we sat down and Rocky went under the table as usual and the server refused us service. Said we needed documentation proof that Rocky was a service dog and demanded that we leave. Located in a beautifully restored turn of the century building, in the up and coming Sprague Union District, the space is airy with the prep and pizza oven on full display. They are brewing some quality beers named lovingly after some of the local Sprague Union District businesses. 20oz pours are only $.50 more, so go for a tall one. We like to order the beer buddies plain with no butter or cheese, and double up on their pizza sauce for a dip. It is probably the tastiest red sauce of any of the Spokane pizza joints. And the dough has a great flavor and chew to it. Salads are also good and loaded. Pizzas are large, again with that great chewy crust and amazing red sauce. They are great about supporting local area events like Art on the Ave and various district events and therefor deserve your support as well! read more

9 of us went here on a thursday evening. we have been going to this place once a week for nearly 15 years. this evening around 6:45 we were allowed to order another round for the party. and literally minutes later told we needed to drink up and the experienced waitress began pushing us to pay our bills and drink our beverages. she even brought our bills and began pushing them at us. she stood at the table waiting for several minutes. there was an additional waitress that had only been there 2 days that was very uncomfortable. The new Bennedito's brew pub is a great new venture for the south hill pizza joint. I grew up on their pizza. I used buy it by the slice when I was a kid in the summer. The brew pub does not deviate from the original pizza at all. There are two reasons why I will choose this new location over the old one any day (despite the fact that I live a 10min walk from the original). The beer and the service. Their beer is very well done! I tried both IPAs and the checkerboard pale ale. The pale ale was so clean and had great citrus hop flavor without being bitter. The tin roof IPA was my second favorite and had a bit more back end bitterness. I have always been a little irritated with how there is one server for almost the entire restaurant at the original place and you always feel they rush things and don't give you enough attention. Not at the brew pub! We had great service here! The new location is bigger and better. The interior is very open and spacious. It isn't super classy but compared to the surrounding neighborhood it's the Taj Mahal. I would absolutely recommend everybody try the new place. Big improvement! read more

Looks like they have 12 beers in tap. Most of them house beers. I had the IPA which was recommended by my server. It was very good. Had the pepperoni pizza slice, salad and Soda for 6.99. Since I didn't have the soda they made an adjustment to my beer price. Beer pints are 5$ for 16 or 5.50 for the 20 oz. The pizza was very good and the slice was large. The service=EXCELLENT! I barely sat down and was addressed right away on a busy night. I noticed others were taken care of quickly as well. I ordered a beer and received it within less than a minute. Good atmosphere as well. 4 TVs with sports. They do not have a happy hour but said they are going to establish one soon. Roughish part of town but felt safe. Crowd was good. read more

Used to be my go-to. Haven't been back a in while and sounded delicious today. So we went. Turned out to be a huge mistake. After my terrible service by the staff when I picked up my carry out (yeah, how can a carry out get a bad review?!) AND THE HAIR in my food, we won't be back. Waitresses were extra rude when I went in to get my order. Hair in our food, totally unacceptable and disgusting. What's more, is when I called seeking a resolution, the man on the phone could not care less. So happy to have a place like this on this side of town, I've always loved their South Hill location, now I can grab a slice on my lunch break. They had a lot of craft beer to choose from, mostly their house brew, I had the Bennedittos Sigrid Kolsch, (which is excellent). The staff was friendly and seemed to like the job, Derrick went above and beyond with our tricky pizza choice (we have picky eaters) and didn't flinch at the weird order. Took a sampler flight with their hefe, pale, single-hop (cascade), IPA, Imperial, and brown. They were all drinkable, my favorite being the imperial. They call it a "big boy," probably because of the abv, but it wasn't really a mouthful, and I thought the flavors were better than the others. The hefe was oddly citrusy, considering it wasn't served with lemon. My spouse, who loves Bavarian brews, didn't even finish a pint. Don't know if it's the new location or the shift (Sunday night), but I don't think we had the varsity cook or wait staff. After growing tired of lack of parking, and the poor customer service, at the South Hill Bennedito's, we decided to bust the other one that has the brewery attached. Had a parking spot right out front...check. Walked in and sat down and was met promptly for our order...check. Things are going good so far! Ordered some garlic bread, large pepperoni pizza, and a 20oz Hefeweizen. The garlic bread was pretty much burnt buttered bread, very little garlic. The Hefe was really good...then came the pizza. The waitress put in a small pizza, which is t what we ordered, but it worked out well anyways. However after we were done that was the last we really saw of our waitress until 15-minutes later when I had to flag her down to get our check. Better execution than the South Hill one, however still needs some improvement. read more

We have loved all the Bennidito restaurants since they have opened on the northside and lower south hill. We were especially excited because the brew pub is close to our house. We again were not disappointed with the service or with the food. They have a great lunch deal of slice of pizza, salad and drink that is satisfying. The restaurant itself is really cool, as it has an industrial feel. Great beer selection. Laid back feel and all around a great place to pick up some pizza. Only complaint.... It was 20 degrees outside and my companion couldn't have alcohol...and there was no option for anything hot to drink. No hot tea, no coffee, nothing. Good food. Poor service. I've frequently gone here with co-workers/friends/family for lunch. Historically the service has been fair to mediocre. Oftentimes they are busy so slowness is not wholly unexpected. Yesterday there were only a few other customers when we arrived for lunch. One of the 2 waitresses said to seat yourself. We did and waited nearly 10 minutes to get menus. Finally I went to the bar to ask the other waitress for them. The two had time to clear a table and chat with the cooks and each other but didn't once check on us. After almost another 10 minutes of awkwardly attempting to catch their attention I had to go back to the bar to order our food. There was a surprisingly long wait time considering we only got 2 salads and a hot sandwich. No one came back to check on us, the food, or our waters. The waitress from the bar came back with our bill and a quick "sorry". She did deduct $2 from the bill. I had to flag her down yet again for a to-go box for the rest of the sandwich. I could understand if they were busy. But they weren't at all. They noticed us (made eye contact several times) and simply ignored. Don't know that I ever want to go back after being so poorly treated. Please fix your customer service! read more

Would think that if a business has a website that they'd keep it updated. Went on 10/16. Already knew what I wanted based on reviewing the online menu. Grand Boulevard pizza. Online price $22.99. So I didn't need a menu when I got there. Just ordered. Imagine my surprise when I get the bill and it's $26.99. Absurd. $22.99 for a pizza is already extreme. $26.99 puts it over the top. If there is a next time I'll ask for a menu. No telling how much everything else has gone up. And I'm not buying it that the price increase is due to ingredient costs, or Covid. Reduced business capacity should mean reduced staff. Any additional costs due to this pandemic is the cost of doing business. Sink or swim. read more
