Do yourself a favor and don't EVER visit this salon!!!…read moreI am not one to write reviews here at Yelp but I decided to do so this time to try to do some good and help you out just so you don't end up with your hair fried like mine currently is. Eva was the so called "professional" who did my hair. And not only did she get the color very wrong but she also (and most importantly) damaged my hair beyond repair. I had gone there on a beautiful Thursday night do have a balayage coloring treatment. I have had this done before, without incident, as my hair was healthy and thick. It became obvious on Thursday night that the procedure went wrong. The color came out extremely red and I had asked for a dark blond (I had even shown her pictures of what I wanted). As I am not a hair care professional, I was told by EVA herself to "come back Saturday to correct it." There was no doubt in anyone's mind that the expensive, time intensive process went horribly wrong. I was confident that the salon would in fact, and knew how, "to make right" and I returned Saturday. EVA was honest and open and acknowledged her error verbally and in writing, repeatedly. Unfortunately, during the "correction" visit, she over bleached the already damaged hair causing not only WORSE color, but extreme and permanent damage to my hair, that is my pride and joy; my favorite trait that I had been growing for over a decade. But the issue went way further than just two "bad" coloring decisions at her hands: in addition to exacerbating the already horrible color result, the issue was my hair had been damaged permanently causing alarming hair loss, breakage, weakness and a total and complete change in condition and texture. Eva immediately acknowledged the second bad (worse) result (again in writing and verbally) and offered to do a "Brazilian blow out to correct" the next day. I went to THREE other reputable local salons to get a third-party assessment on how to best proceed to, at least, minimize the dramatic hair loss, texture destruction and color correction. All of the other professionals I spoke to were horrified at the condition of my hair and in one case, they called over trainees to use my destroyed hair as an example of how incompetent treatments can be furthered escalated with more incompetent actions to correct. In addition, all the salons reported that a Brazilian treatment would be the "worst thing for my hair." That my severely damaged hair would not resist the shampooing and heat process that a Brazilian blowout requires. Once again Eva proved her incompetence by offering me this type of treatment to try and recover my hair They also said I would have to drastically CUT my almost mid-back length hair drastically, and regularly to minimalize the disparity in the broken hair's new growth length and texture. I have been crying, anxious and embarrassed to the point I don't want to leave my home. Minimally, I would get reimbursed for any monies paid for the erroneous services this hair salon provided. This is what reputable salons would have done. But instead I was offered a so called treatment that would have damaged my hair even further. I have already spent hundreds of dollars on a hair cut and hair treatments altogether but have yet to get my money back from this place. I do not trust them (especially Eva) to do any further process on my hair. I have no other resource than to tell you my story so you don't have to go thru the same ordeal that I am currently going thru. Stay away from this salon. Far far away. You're welcome

Basically I'll continue to get my hair cut from her wherever she goes! Her rates for cutting long hair is very reasonable( about $45). She's friendly and is able to cut your hair according to whatever style you want it to be. She also understands how to cut Asian hair! When you go, you'll get your hair washed first and then she'll style your hair. Make sure to tip the hair washer and the hair stylist separately!

When you book an appointment, you'll be her only client and have her full attention. I had a bad haircut a year ago from another stylist, but by visiting Kelly every few months for a cut, we've been able to gradually fix it without sacrificing too much length. She's patient. I'm sure I've asked her a ton of questions on the differences between ombré, highlights, choosing colors, etc. She'll listen and walk you through the pros and cons to help you decide what direction you want to take your hair in. Booking appointments with her online is so easy. It's so much better than calling a salon and having to wait for an assistant to flip through pages to find what their next availability is. Not only do you leave her salon with baby soft hair - she's 100% transparent about what products she uses, and provides honest feedback and recommendations on what to use at home. Since it's her own salon, she purchases her favorite brands of products, and doesn't skimp on quality. I've had other stylists recommend expensive shampoos and conditioners to me - but I always felt like they were just pitching a sale. Kelly is the first stylist who I've trusted as much as I do, and follow her directions for maintaining my hair at home. One of my favorite products she's recommended to me is the Truss Miracle hair mask. Visiting her is a great experience, and you can absolutely trust her with your hair!
