I actually called him the day before to tell him about my tenant situation and what they reported regarding freezer condensation leakage into the fridge. The day of the repair I get a call and final bill of $250. I was never informed of any additional work or follow up cost before the work was done. Isn't that common sense? What if the repair cost was $500 or $1,000? They will just do the work without owner approval? I pressed him on this a bit (with phone receipts) asking for an itemized split between labor and parts. He said no parts just labor and I confirmed he wasn't even there for an hour. I'm not going to sit here and say $250 is a fair price or not. It's the lack of transparency and communication that left a sour taste in my mouth. Take your money elsewhere.
