We've been bringing our beloved 6-year-old Goldendoodle to Grooming by Susie for about five years, and they've been consistently wonderful. If you have a doodle, you know the coat can be a lot to manage. My doodle has a pretty curly coat, so having a careful, experienced groomer really matters. Susie (the owner) and her team always do a great job with her. I try to stay on top of brushing at home, but sometimes she gets into mud or water and I don't dry and comb her as well as I should... so she occasionally shows up a little matted. Susie and her team are always kind about it and get her looking great again. I also really appreciate that they communicate, like when they've called to let me know she was more matted than expected and that they might need a little more time to take her coat a bit shorter than planned. The biggest sign that this is a place that truly cares about dogs: my doodle is excited to go. As soon as we park and I open the car door, she pulls me straight to the shop door. No hesitation at all. Everyone here clearly knows and loves dogs, and it shows in how comfortable my doodle is there. After five years of bringing her here, I wouldn't take her anywhere else. I've been coming to Susie for yrs for both of my dog's grooming needs. 1st it was my chihuahua Chiquita who when she got her nails trimmed at her veterinarian, it was pricey and awful, they were cut too short and my dog was bleeding when they handed her back to me. So we came to Susie to give her monthly baths, trim her nails, clean her ears, and her teeth. Love Susie! Our three babies always look terrific when we pick them up from Susie! She even spotted a problem with one of our dogs that our then vet's office didn't, even though they had seen our dog two days earlier. We switched vets after that because it turned out our baby had a number of teeth that needed to be pulled and at least two were abscessed. Susie didn't open our dogs mouth, just pulled back her lip and saw one of the abscessed teeth. The vets office (who supposedly opened her mouth to determine what teeth work was needed missed both teeth that were abscessed). Susie is a very caring groomer who does her best to take a pro-active approach to the over-all well being of our babies and we would highly recommend Susie to anyone looking for a great groomer that truly cares about your fur babies as if they were her own!! read more

She has groomed my baby since he was a puppy, and does a spectacular job. She listens to what you want and really narrows it down. I have never been disappointed or surprised (in a bad way) . My husband and I are in the area temporarily for his job, and I dreaded having to look for a groomer for our two standard poodles. I found Susie by searching on the internet for a groomer who uses the IV San Bernard line of grooming products. One of our dogs has very dry skin and this stuff is amazing - pricey - but my dog is off all medications that were supposed to help his dry, itchy skin as long as these shampoos and conditioners are used on him. I talked to Susie on the phone first and she is just sincere, kind and helpful. I took the grooming instructions the dogs' previous groomer had provided in writing and Susie was interested and appreciative. We've had groomers that were not interested in learning how we like our dogs to look - often thinking they knew better and have had more than a few horrendous haircuts as a result. Susie did an amazing job! The dogs look great - just the way we like them and even 3 weeks out from the grooming we were still getting compliments on our "beautiful dogs." The dogs enjoy her clean, bright shop as well. When I pick them up, they are relaxed and happy. Love this groomer. I can tell when I bring my dogs in for grooming, that she has a true love of animals. When I see Susie outside of the business, she asks about my two dogs and calls them by name. I have a 100 lb german shepard with massive amounts of undercoat, which is totally removed during the grooming process. I also have a pomeranian that doesn't love getting blow dried, but Susie puts protective ear covering on to make it more comfortable. I highly recommend them. read more

Lincoln Express Dog Wash is hands down the best grooming experience we've encountered and we have tried several others. We will continue to be customers of Susie and her team because of several things: most importantly, our dogs are groomed by themselves, meaning there is no waiting for them to dry while in crates before they get their hair cuts, etc. Also, my two small dogs are very attached to each other and true family members for us. Susie and her team recognize that individual bond and treats them like good dogs, not weird ones for being attached to each other. Also, there is no stress of being in an unfamiliar place with lots of other dogs, something our dogs weren't huge fans of before.
