Beware, they steal your authentic iphone battery and replace it with a fake one. I wanted my back fixed to my iphone, they fixed it. I few months later my phone started saying the battery is dying. I was barely able to back it up and keep some stuff on it before it died. I told my cell phone provider what happened and they looked at it, they said they took my iphone battery and replaced it with a cheap one. Never again. Crooks! read more

DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!! I swear I wish I could give this place zero stars, they put on charm and smiles when you first come in to get you to feel like you can trust them then they mess your phone up I'm talking charged my girlfriend $200 to fix the front and back glass of her phone and then denied any accountability on the shit they broke on the phone not to mention when tried "fixing it" when I brought it back in put the wrong screen on !!!!!! How do you put the wrong screen on a phone !!!!!! At the end of the day I was told we are not responsible for anything that is wrong with your phone after the screens because it's not under warranty, like are you crazy came in with a perfect working phone except the phone screens left with a broken flash light, terrible phone screen quality, and my touch screen and facial recognition malfunctioning I'm so mad if you don't want to be robbed blind don't come here read more

very unprofessional place, wasted my time for weeks gave me the run around and different prices forgetting who they had already talked to, owner is very rude warranty doesn't cover if they mess up your phone. had to get my phone fixed after a new screen repair from another shop the screws were on wrong my phone was burning up smelling like smoke and battery was being drained after 4hrs of of no use. its one thing to be cheap but handing back phones worse before they came in and not trying to accommodate their errors is another thing. they could've worked something out with me but instead chose to act unprofessiona. read more

Wish I could give 0 stars. SCAM!!! Do not go here. Sold my son a $600 iPhone 14 that we found out 2 months later was locked. Left my son stranded because he had no phone. Tried to give me a 13 in place that could happen again. Go to a legit place & buy your phone. I found it it's only a little bit more for a new not scammed out phone. asked about getting a battery changed in my iPad, they broke into it, left marks where they did so and made it so I could no longer use finger print ID. they also scribbled on my receipt since my son picked it up for me. i went to Apple--where I should have gone first--where they told me about the battery not being replaceable and the evidence that they broke into it, etc. I went back to them and told them this and they lied and talked over me, raising their voices. they ignored the Better Business Bureau and The Office of the illinois Secretary of State who advised them to return my money. Both advised me to go to Small Claims Court. read more

Too expensive for low quality parts. I had my screen replaced which they did in 20 min but the colors aren't great since they used a cheap lcd. They charged more than other places who use oled. I complained they didn't say beforehand so they took off taxes. Good in a pinch but I'd go elsewhere if you have time. read more

This was one of the most unprofessional, suspicious, and upsetting experiences I've ever had with any business. I called earlier in the week to ask about repairing a Samsung S25 regular screen. I was quoted $210 flat, and I confirmed this twice over the phone. I was told to come in on Saturday and that walk-ins were fine. When I arrived, they told me they had ordered the S25 Ultra part -- which is not what I requested. The employee then called the person I originally spoke to, and that person insisted I asked for the Ultra. I had very clearly said regular, even double-checking with my husband at the time. They told me they would order the correct part and to come back Tuesday. The person on the phone said they would "take a little off" for the inconvenience. I asked if I needed to sign anything for the deposit and was told no. In the store, the employee refused to honor the discount the phone rep promised. When I asked how much deposit they wanted, he said "any amount." I put down $100 cash. He even questioned whether the bill was counterfeit. I stepped outside to call my husband because the situation felt extremely off. When I went back in and simply asked for a receipt showing my $100 deposit, the employee told me it would cost a 20% surcharge -- $20 -- just to get a receipt. I have never in my life heard of being charged money to receive proof of a deposit. My husband told me to get my money back and leave. I asked for my $100 returned, and luckily they handed it back without further argument. I left immediately and blocked their number. The entire interaction felt extremely fishy, inconsistent, and untrustworthy from start to finish. I genuinely do not understand how this business has a 4.9 rating. My experience was the complete opposite of professional or honest. This felt deceptive at every turn, from misquoting repairs to refusing receipts to contradicting each other's promises. My advice: avoid this place entirely. Based on my experience, I would not trust them with repairs, deposits, or my personal devices.

Even though the receipt says all phones and accessories can be returned within 14 days with a 25% restocking fee -they would not refund me for a $80 screen protector. YES EIGHTY DOLLAR SCREEN PROTECTOR. No where on the receipt does is say the screen protector is non-refundable. So for a $130 purchase I got refunded $5 dollars for 12 days of use. I felt like I got conned so the manager could make a sale. I called the district manager Johnny with my complaint. I will update this post with his response. *UPDATE* the journey continues continues. Johnny called me and I told him what happened. He responded, "I will have to get the store's side of the story then call you back in the next 48 hours." That was a week ago and still no call back. In addition my Verizon bill has a $30 setup charge on it. Bri from GoWireless Advocate called me but it has not seemed to have any effect on Johnny. I will continue to update this response, as of now it's still 1 star **Second UPDATE** well Johnny called me back. Not within 48 hours but in 8 days but who is counting? I ended up getting roughly $110 of my money back. Therefore I have raise my review to 2 stars. Johnny wanted me to come into the store to credit my credit card (why he can't do that over the phone I don't know) but I have already wasted enough hours of my life on this issue so I had him credit my Verizon account instead. Here is my final review: -The written return policy is inaccurate on the receipt it does not specify what is NOT included under the return statement--like your entire purchase.... Keep in mind if I didn't call everyone at GoWireless I would of received $5 back from a $130 purchase which was returned within the 14 day return policy. - Staff is untrained. The Manager of the store places a non-refundable screen cover on the phone without educating the customer of its non-returnable status, easily taking advantage of customers just to make a sale. -Go to a real Verizon store because Verizon is going to charge you a $30 setup fee anyways but at least they are transparent with what they are charging. If you go to GoWireless you will still have to pay Verizon's $30 (which GoWireless doesn't tell you about) in addition to GoWireless bleeding you dry. This experience has left such a bad taste in my mouth after 8 years of being with Verizon I'm considering leaving them. No one should have to fight this hard for a honest refund.

To my great surprise Matt, the Store Manager, said he agreed with my assessment, had a meeting to instruct everyone to inform work costs before proceeding, and said that he would give me a full refund which he did on 2-4-2026. I am quite pleased that Matt was so forthright in giving my full purchase price back. I give high kudos to Matt and all the Batteries Plus store personnel. So, my daughter (who will be referred to as butterfingers to keep her identity private) dropped her iPhone 7 down a flight of steps. The screen did not crack (thank goodness she just had it replaced a month ago) but it went black. We tried a few YouTube fixes to no avail. We found this place on Yelp so we gave it a try. We arrived about 15 minutes before closing and the gentleman said he could take a look at the phone. He cracked it open and said It needed a new screen and wires. I dropped my s3 while at Vegas for the weekend, and I was worried because I knew fixing cracked screens could be pricey. Worst service I've ever experienced in my life! I got my phone fixed, then had to get it fixed again under warranty, then when I came to get it fixed a 3rd time (since it STILL hadn't been properly fixed), this store had me wait over two days, once for multiple hours within the same day. Not only that, they were rude and unhelpful. This has costed me thousands of dollars of business and my phone is much worse than when I first went to get it fixed. Awful service! Expensive! Took 2 weeks for them to figure out what I already told them was wrong with my computer and then they decided they can't fix it and charged me $30. Smells bad in there too.

My experience with "the other" similar store was horrible, which led me to this one. I went in and dropped my PS3 off on a rainy day. Ran into the "store". It's very small, they have used odds and ends in the front for purchase. You can certainly smell that they still smoke in the back, but whatever. I just want my PS3 working. They seemed knowledgeable enough. The younger-guy said it would only be like 4 hours to get it fixed and that he'd call me. So sure enough, either same day or next day they called back to let me know it was ready and I went to get it. Super cheap for my "yellow light of death". Still is working. The only scary part is that they only guarantee their work for like 30 or 60 days - can't remember which. That made me a bit nervous, because it seems like maybe they have units come back a lot..?? Why wouldn't they guarantee it longer. Hmm. Regardless, mine is still working. And it's been like a 45-60 days. updated 11/24/12 - So.. I have to update my rating and review. Unfortunately my PS3 died again 2 weeks ago. So apparently this is the reason why they only have a "30-day guarantee". Right. Got it now. Will not be paying to service it again. Unfortunately will have to bite the bullet and buy a new one. :( So, I have to change my rating.
